Under Shifting Stars by Alexandra Latos
Tumblr media
This heartfelt novel for fans of Jandy Nelson and Adam Silvera follows twins Audrey and Clare as they grapple with their brother's death and their changing relationships—with each other and themselves.
Audrey’s best friend was always her twin, Clare. But as they got older, they grew apart, and when their brother Adam died, Clare blamed Audrey for the accident. Now, Audrey’s attending an alternative school where she feels more isolated than ever. Tired of being seen as different from her neurotypical peers, Audrey’s determined to switch to the public high school, rebuild her friendship with Clare, and atone for Adam’s death . . . but she’ll need to convince her parents, and her therapist, first.
Clare knows her sister thinks she’s the perfect twin, but Audrey doesn’t realize that Clare’s “popular” status is crumbling—she’s begun to question old friendships, dress in Adam’s clothes, and wonder what feelings for a nonbinary classmate, Taylor, might mean. As she grapples with not only grief but also her gender fluidity, Clare wonders where she’ll belong if she sheds her carefully constructed image and embraces her true self.
Will first crushes, new family dynamics, and questions of identity prove that Audrey and Clare have grown too different to understand each other—or that they've needed each other all along?

Taylor appears beside me. “That was kind of badass. Do you really have something on Smith?”
“Other than seeing him drunk and stoned? Nothing. But nobody is perfect, right? I figured it was safe to bluff.”
This is such a niche thing and will totally expose me if any of my friend see it but this reminds me sooo much of this one weird ass short story we read for Spanish where the whole plot was that everyone has something to hide so you can really easily manipulate them

read "under shifting stars", it was okay but i still find the watching the videos part very weird. like i understand that it was significant for her self-understanding journey to start but im sure there could have been a different way. maybe sth less invasive of other people's privacy

Hi! Hope you’re having a great day 😄 Any recommendations for books that involve a main character discovering they are non binary or ftm transgender? Thank you!!
Sure!
Nonbinary:
Under Shifting Stars by Alexandra Latos
Felix Ever After by Kacen Kallender is about someone formerly ID'ing as a trans man realizing they're nonbinary
What We Left Behind by Robin Talley is about both people in a couple slowly questioning their identities
Binary transguys:
Violet Ghosts by Leah Thomas (though this one is really heavily about SA and violence against women!)
Between Perfect and Real by Rae Stoeve
And if you're interested at all, Meet Cute Diary by Emery Lee features a love interest who has recently realized they're nonbinary and are experimenting with pronouns And Dead Collections by Isaac Fellman also features a love interest exploring their gender (and a transman MC). This is the only adult title on the list.

Come utilizzare Sci-Hub?
Dopo aver compreso cos'è Sci-Hub, esploriamo brevemente come utilizzarlo.
Alternative come Library Genesis, Anna's Archive e Z-Library, insieme a riviste in accesso aperto, offrono percorsi diversi per accedere agli articoli scientifici.
https://sci-hub.ren/
https://sci-hub.wf/
https://sci-hub.in/
