It is funny that I spent 90% of btvs so happy that they just let Buffy & Xander be best friends while wholly believing it'd be a big mistake to put them together for many reasons (as someone who loves their friendship and loves Xander), but by the end of the show was like. well their love isn't any less significant or meaningful as best friends but also. they would be so good together romantically and at this point the fact he had a crush on her years ago is pretty irrelevant. They'd get and understand each other like no one else. Like if I had to actually pick anyone from the show to be with Buffy at the end in a positive way it would be Xander. Hands down.

February 10, 1998

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered aired for BTVS season 2, episode 16. Cordelia breaks up with Xander. He attempts to force Cordelia to fall back in love with him, planning to then get revenge by breaking up with her. But the magic spell goes wrong, so every woman in Sunnydale attempts to seduce Xander, except for Cordelia. This includes - among others - Amy, Buffy, Jenny, Willow, Harmony, Joyce, and Drusilla. Eventually the spell is lifted and things return to normal. Cordelia ends up returning to Xander at the end of the episode.

While Buffy still appears in several scenes, she is turned into a rat by a jealous Amy and is on-screen less than normal. This was done because Sarah Michelle Gellar was preparing for her first time hosting Saturday Night Live (SNL). Typically for an SNL episode the entire week leading up to the live episode is busy with work for the writers, host, cast and crew. That SNL episode aired on January 17, 1998.

John Egbert - Marching Band, Clarinet

- dorkiest person to ever clari the net

- only guy clarinet

- completely neutral to the band uniforms, just having fun in the group

Rose Lalonde - Orchestra, Violin

- only because of her mom, neutral on orchestra

- always attends marching competitions

- argues modern marching uniforms are better just to get on Dave's nerves

Dave Strider - not in band

- huge marching band fanboy but would never show it

- aggressively believes classic uniforms are better

- would probably help the front ensemble just to get closer to the action

Jade Harley - Jazz Band, Bass Guitar

- Enjoys band but it is not her priority

- Probably doesn't even have a first hour, always a little late to jazz rehearsal

- Supports John but doesn't go to every marching performance

Jane Crocker - Marching Band, Saxophone

- always complains about getting new reeds yet is always prepared with extras

- very committed to every rehearsal

- dislikes modern uniforms because of how unflattering they are

Roxy Lalonde - Marching Band, Color Guard

- relatively new to guard, medium skill level

- has so much fun with every costume
