Season 3 really feels like the end of an era for the show. And I don't just mean that because Polin will be taking a step back next season. That's something I'm used to and prepared for with the show's leads. But there are so many other things that are going to change too. The Featheringtons won't be up to their shenanigans, which means the show's comedic tone will shift. There will be less Peneloise, and for the first time, Eloise and Queen Charlotte's plots won't revolve around Whisteldown. Season 4 will also be the first season where the opening scene isn't a Bridgerton's debut into society.

In a lot of ways, season 4 is going to feel like a whole new show. And I don't think that's a bad thing. Shows should be able to evolve and most of these elements will reach their natural conclusion. But it's also a bit scary not knowing what the future holds. We've been with many of these dynamics for so long. Polly Walker in particular has been such a force that I truly can't picture the show without Portia Featherington.

I'm looking forward to seeing what a new era will bring, but I'm also finding it hard to accept that we have to say goodbye to this one.

Colin is having his mask on, telling stories about his travels to impress. But then, first Cinderella/ Pen moment happens.

When she runs outside crying, It's like his soul follow her too.

Everything Colin was saying gets borrowed. He can't think in something else that "Pen is sad".

But then, when he ask about her, the wall is there. Nobody cares, she's not important, he doesn't need to care. But he does, and she's important. She's important to him.

Tha late nights? Maybe the late nights he was trying to fill the void. His heart feels tight. He missed her and she's not well.

He feels so uncomfortable, all his body is saying I need to follow that girl. He's having a battle inside and he can't focus.

He's trying to maintain the mask, being what people wants from him. But then is Pen. What if "she" needs him?

His heart it's more strong than him. He cares too much to being able to let it go. He needs to know.

The string is hurting him so much. And his body does what he soul did it first. And that's all Colin can do. Follow her, so he does it. And he always will, whatever she goes.

I'm sorry but I think it needs to be stated once again this series is so 90s rom-com 😂😭 like this poor girl has gone from about to get engaged, scandaled by Colin on the dancefloor, rejected, runs from the ball, gets run down by Colin, fingerbanged in the back of a carriage and then two seconds later proposed to, dragged inside to tell his entire family, at night, without a chaperone, and we expect her to remember to reveal herself as Lady Whistledown somewhere here?
