I was a bit concerned about how will they would film these scenes with their height difference, because I though it'd be only close shots to avoid that problem, but THIS, this is amazing.

It really captures how tiny she is and the nuisance that it could lead to, I love so much how Colin is hunching himself in order to reach her and he is also bending his knees and Pen is probably in her tippy toes!!!

Even if is only in my dreams, I'll manifest to have this kind of problems!! And Nicola is 3cm taller than me.

I don’t understand defending either member of the Polin ship by throwing the other under the bus.

This goes for the characters or whatever, but mainly the actors. Their friendship has been such a joy to watch over the promo cycle, it seems so negative to defend Nicola from body-shaming hate by saying Luke isn’t attractive (especially since he’s also being viciously appearance-shamed in a way that very few people are taking seriously) or defend Luke by saying Nicola won’t let him talk and takes over interviews for attention. They obviously work really well as a team and support each other, and look good doing it! Their dynamic works on screen with chemistry off the charts, and their off-screen promo has been non-stop fanservice from BOTH of them.

This pairing and these actors have been the punching bag of the Bridgerton fandom for too long for people to start using them to punch each other.

not enough people are talking about the fact that in the teen vogue video, luke newton acknowledges that his unconscious head tilt is only done when he's in the presence of penelope / nicola ....

it's a huge thing in body language where it signifies the person doing it is REALLY paying attention / actively trying to listen better to what the other person is saying - although in this case it's likely also because nicola is only 3 apples tall and luke is much taller so he's doing everything he can to make sure he doesn't miss a word she's saying

i always see l*kola shippers pointing out luke's behavior in interviews as if it's not just him having anxiety.... like as someone with really bad anxiety i can tell that that man has a lot of anxiety about speaking in interviews, hence why nicola talks more and is reassuring him.

like maybe it is more, i'm not saying it's impossible, but micro-analyzing every movement he makes in every interview is just weird. the man has adhd and anxiety and has talked about it before. some of y'all actually need to chill out.

i think them having insane chemistry is great and i enjoy the edits of them, but there is a line, and i fear many people have crossed it severely.

I love this photo from the Bowral Premiere. In the video I noticed Luke turned away from the cameras for a minute, probably to take a beat, and Nicola walked up to him and made eye contact to ground him. Nicola is more extroverted and able to handle the red carpet experience with more ease, while Luke seems more introverted and probably not as experienced with it. Such a fantastic pair!

it's great that some of y'all think your favourite male celebs love women and get women but trust me none of them love or get women the way Luke Newton does.

His entire behaviour during the press tour so far has cemented the fact. Repeatedly berating his own character for "not seeing what's in front of him" - not a single word in defense of Colin's behaviour ... saying he finds consent super sexy ... saying that Colin would have loved Pen EVEN if she hadn't changed her look because it's not the glow up that made Colin fall in love ... and the fact that normally male leads would shy away from being tagged as soft / gentle / romantic in favour of some alpha hetero masculine posturing but here he is talking about how he watched all the romcoms and the videos Nicola sent him to make sure he commits and understands the shared vision for their characters ... thinking that A Thousand Years is the perfect song for Polin because he watched a Twilight edit with it.... I could go on omg.

And the fact multiple women on the Bridgerton cast have said Luke N is just the sweetest ...... I've never in my life felt a need to baby a man but LUKE NEWTON IS MY BABYGIRL I SWEARRRRRRRRRRR
