These frames added ten years to my life omgg. (which will prolly be taken away again once the current manga chapters get animated, but that's a worry for another time lol)

I love how we got to see Phipps' chimkeen but how come the chapter 66 where it came from wasn't though?! Still hope they animate it as a flashback or even as OVA. 😭🥹

"They don't have blue plates," Cheslock complains into the phone. "Yeah, I checked twice! Look, Red, just pick another color or Ed and I are leavin', all right? We've been here for nearly an hour already!"

A garbled response.

"No, they don't- what do ya mean, cobalt? What the bloody-"

As much as Edward would love to stand in the party goods aisle and listen to Cheslock argue with Redmond about the exact shade of paper tableware for a surprise birthday celebration that he's more than certain Bluewer knows about anyway, he's getting tired.

"That's the same thing!" Cheslock explodes. "You just said-"

Edward checks his watch. Violet was supposed to be here thirty minutes ago.

"I did! They don't- I said I checked and I did, and- yeah, Eddie asked someone already, there aren't any bloody blue plates on the- yes it is the same thing!"

White or silver would do just as well, Edward decides, and wanders over to the shelf to peruse the selection.

"No, he's not here yet, he was goin' to pick us up at- I don't care! If ya don't shut up I'm goin' to get the orange ones, or- why do we even need plates?! We've got those stupid frilly napkins and we can just-"

"Ask him if these will do," Edward interrupts, holding out the silver plates he'd chosen. "They should match, I think."

Cheslock gives the offering a cursory glance before nodding and gesturing for Edward to go to the cashier. "Yeah. No, Ed picked some out- no, they're not orange, I was- good. Yeah. Took him long enough. We'll be out as soon as we pay."

"Cobalt," he snorts to Edward as the two of them leave the store and make their way outside to Violet's car. “Bet he made that up.”
