moreeeee joker au shenanigans, thanks to my buddy @owldart for brainstorming this thing with me :)
The Riddler mostly keeps to the shadows in this au - he's a hacker and has a nice amt of cash from his hackerly actions (scraping billionaire's bank accounts). He's decided to help joker Not Die but the man is constantly testing his patience (not that Nygma is any easier to be around - he has Redditor Syndrome. it's terminal.)
The first time Joker encounters the riddler, he's running for his life from the Batman - possibly his first actual altercation with the Bat.

Owl: Joker's burner keeps buzzing and he answers only to be directed to said safe house While running from cops and batman
(text from drawing) "Myello, this is Joker in his final moments, whaddya want?"
'Head due east and take off in a sprint. Don't slow down.'
"What way is east. Do you have a compass or something on you??"
'Ugh, just- RIGHT. GO RIGHT.'
Joker: I don't owe you shit for this
Riddler: I didn't expect you'd be grateful. I have an interest in keeping you on the playing board, that's it
Joker: is that your thing? I see life as a joke, you see it as a game?
Riddler: don't psychoanalyze me. You're dressed like a clown.
Joker: don't hate the player, mystery voice. Can I get a name for you?
Riddler: only if you can find it.
Then the phone cuts off
Cranky: joker internally names him rumplestiltskin.

- Like nobody knows, even the Joker, when his birthday is, all the Rogues decide each year to choose a random day, and give him a surprise happy birthday, because Joker loves the unexpected.
- All the toxins have no effect on Scarecrow, but he can’t stand alcohol.
- Mad Hatter never said a bad word, and never going do to it. The most terrible bad word of him will be “What the Freak”.
- Riddler once got an ulcer because of Scarecrow and Mad Hatter.
- Penguin once thrown Mr. Freeze into the water of the Iceberg Lounge, because the latter was actually dying because of the hot weather. So now Mr. Freeze hibernates during summer.
