ough something about Chromia Scott finding the season 1 empires ruins years after their end. Being an adventurer at heart, but wandering through and having to wonder what happened? Why nobody remained, why nothing was left of the mechanical empire? The withered red vines that covered every inch of the mountain bound kingdom? The drained ocean and the dried up swamp, with a somehow pristine cod head sitting abandoned in its church? The grand palace in the mesa that broke? Why is the desert untouched by time? What happened? What occurred not a century ago that left this destruction and nobody to tell the tales of it all?
The place in the mountains is especially disturbing, seeing the circle drawn, the sword, and the blood though no bodies nor bones sent lightning down his spine the way looking at his own grave might.
The entire place feels like one large graveyard he can't bring himself to disturb. He doesn't stay too long after that.
