DAY 6 --  VENOM 'At War With Satan' Combat Records 1984 Next up is the third of the classic Venom albums, At War With Satan! I found this album shortly after picking up Welcome To Hell and Black Metal, and it did not disappoint. The epic 20 minute title track is ambitious, fun, evil and rockin'... a lot of people seem to pass over this album when they talk about Venom. Rip Ride is a classic Venom track that rips (pun intended) and Stand Up (And Be Counted) is a legit metal anthem. I always hoped that Venom would play At War With Satan live on a tour that I could see but no such luck.  Who holds the keys to the Seven Gates? Fuck the Bastards!
