17th Century Gaydar

With @canisalbus's characters Vasco and his QPR wife Ludovica. Consider this a Headcanon but I imagined they were likely set up as like, teens- maybe not fully arranged marriage, but marriage was heavily implied with their courtship. So here I imagine them as like 15/16 which is why they're kind of smaller and scruffier, as well as having their outfit colors a little lightened. Also Ludovica in cute ear bows moment. I THINK this is my first more or less official online artist fan art??? I hope I did them justice.

Quick little silly comic thingy i did about Machete and Vasco based on the events at @canisalbus yesterday-ish (or more specifically, the asks listed at the bottom of this post)

Anyways, i really love these characters. Everytime i see art of these dogs it brightens my day a little more. Canisalbus really has a way of making them feel like actual people, and it's so easy to get invested in their love story.

I can't imagine this silly little comic being even near canon at all, i'm not sure they used the term "Gay" this way in the late 1500s, but eh. Just something that popped in my head. I just love the idea of Machete taking years with Vasco and finally renting an attic room with him to fully figurate out his feelings for him.

Helloooo!! I drew one of @canisalbus’s characters Machete!! I’m a huge fan of their artwork and novella. I really wanted to draw machete, this was so much fun to draw, and I’ll draw Vasco soon as well ^_^
