This is an art commission for Sarah and her fiancee, to be used as wedding invites!! I was especially excited about the concept of drawing them by the beautiful duck pond they visit, it's so romantic! 🦆✨🌿 I was very inspired by ghibli while painting the scenery.
There's some close-ups under the cut btw!
If you're interested, I have one commission slot available right now! dm me or check my carrd for pricing and more info.
Have a wonderful day! 🌱✨

Today was the busiest, but the most satisfying day since a long time. Some parts even made me feel like a ghibli character.
I rode a bike to the office. For the first time I chose the bike lane near the river. Then, there were a few hours of continuous work (I did so much today!) (also a LOT of anxiety involved). After work I tried to ride through the city in the peak traffic hours, went to an asian store (and spent a little bit too much money there) and to the library. Rode back the same way home - it's pretty a lane, full of trees and there were even some frogs singing. The air was warm, but dark clouds were coming, threatening of a storm.
Idk man, there is something about the green trees, nature, bike rides and doing casual things, that makes me think of ghibli life.
*also, after I came home from extra shopping and way too many hills, that I couldn't ride my bike on, I got myself a green tea mochi (weird, it was my first time trying it), gingerbread coffee, a quick shower and then the best Pad Thai, that I made to date*

Let's go on an adventure!
This painting started out as a study of clouds and turned into something else.
