seeing claudia happy in her yellow dress triggered something so deep within my bones.
the only thing my baby wants is the comfort of family, and as she’s getting her YELLOW DRESS made by madeleine (as soon as i heard her name my heart stopped), she’s talking about how the people from the coven are like a family to her.
she’s trying so hard to get them to like her, and instead they’re just toying with her, stringing her along, aware of her need for a familial bond and playing into it for fun.
like animals secretly hunting their prey as it keeps on living its life, unaware of the immediate danger they’re in.
but it’s somehow worse bc they’re also playing with her emotions, giving her a false sense of security and family, something that she’s literally gone to the other side of the world to look for, before cruelly taking it from her.
