I am delighted to announce that my bowl sculpture titled 👉 Copper bowl in yellow and black has been chosen for exhibition in the Market House gallery as part of the Mountshannon Regeneration arts festival on the 👉 24th to the 26th of September. Handmade in the West of Ireland It is a tactile piece, with weaving shades of copper, yellows, black and orange. Medium: Salvaged sourced 50-year-old Copper, Fully handcrafted by traditional metalworking techniques and Patina aging and finishing methods. No paint is used on the Copper medium the colours are achieved by exploiting the materials natural ability to self-oxidise. This item is original and one of a kind Influence for creation: The West of Ireland landscape, the Shannon Estuary as the sun sets. 🍻 Experiences are one of my favourite types of gift because they are low waste, high connection, and create memories instead of landfill! 🍺 This birthday was a bit tricky because so many experiences aren't possible with places closed and gatherings off the table. @adamhobaoill loves his craft beers, so I found an online beer tasting session run by a beer lover and expert - #dublinbeertasting - and ordered Adam some #IrishMade beers from a few breweries. 🍻 They did come in packaging, but it's all recyclable and because I chose only Irish beers the transport footprint is nice and low too. 🇮🇪 It feels good to support local businesses and it gave us loads of laughs tonight. I learned some new things about different types of beers (including that I like hops and I dislike wheat beers) and Adam learned some stuff he didn't know too! Which I was pleased about because I just assumed he knew all the beer things.
