You know what, I will give it to the fans, you were right to see the vibes and stick with them so well done to y'all, congrats on canon bi Buck!

#the less i say about the ship itself the better. but well done to all my moots. i really thought y'all were being baited.#and buck seems nice i have no issues with him whatsoever. pleased for the character and the actor and the fans.#i just read an interview about the moment and it seems very refreshing on all accounts. even the mention of queerbaiting!#its lovely and i think I'm realising i was too quick to judge the show and the whole situation. I'm still learning and growing!#not that I've ever posted my dislike. i would never. I've simply blocked the tags and moved on.#i started this post on a really... sour feeling and actually doing research to validate the sour feeling has made me realise i was so wrong #not on all of it. i stand by my refusal to engage with the other half of the ship. but on the whole I've definitely changed my stance.

in other news i started reading l0u sull!van (avoiding search results) 's diaries today and its been very <3

#im like 160 pages in out of a total 300 #it's really funny andendearing to see how trans men have always been exactly the same #these entries are 40-60 years old but he talksabout so many of the same feelings modern guyshave #preoccupations about passing...feeling lost in the world and like a stranger in your own body...#the elation of seeing your body then respond to hormones and surgeries...#i left off at the part shortly after where he gets top and it just made me so happy to read #he was expressing so much of the same thing i felt 2 years ago :')#it's also really pleasant and refreshing to see him express his desires for other men #even though his experiences (in the part i left off at hes like cruising constantly which is not me at all) are so different from mine #he still says so many of the same sentiments i feel about men and their bodies and everything about them #:') it's just nice to feel ... seen i guess... and to feel connected to someone who was around so long before me #but who clearly had (despite everything) similar experiences and feelings to me #it's always comforting to me to remember that we've always been here...u know...#i know the 70s was not that long ago but at the same time it was. so i am emo about it #anyway.......rambling over #mine

I randomly remembered this and couldn’t stop thinking about it, so happy reminder/if you didn’t know, in Bowser’s Inside Story there’s a certain part where you have to cross an area by hanging off this zipline sort of thing, and if you have Luigi hang onto Mario he just takes the moment to hug and snuggle onto him for a bit

I have to admit I do really like paper airplane soundwave... as much as I enjoy bulling him for it

And arcee and elita!! Simply looove the big vintage car looks. I adore them. Plus, I was really sad when we never ended up seeing elita in cyberverse and I’m really excited to see what the writers do with her here. Didn’t enjoy war for cybertron--for so, so many reasons--but I did like how they established Elita in the first few episodes as.. well not a foil of Optimus but a very interesting parallel of sorts. And... listen I have nothing to go off of here but I have a good feeling, and there’s very little Elita content in transformers shows from what I’ve seen, so I’m just excited for her to hit the screens lol.

I've been having a lot of trouble w paints LMFAO, so I've been revisiting pencils and like damn. This is literally so much better actually LMFAO, I have so much more control and room for error. But then I spent like half a second thinking about how (for something I'm working on 👀👀) I'm gonna have to color backgrounds at least a little and thought. Damn. I fucking hate using pencils for bgs it's SO tedious and STUPID and also I still wanna paint I don't wanna give up 🥲🥲🥲

...partially considering holding off on posting AWLB part 2 until I've got like, the whole thing written, and re-read/reworked in places fully.

#insomniac hyena rambles #idk if I will. just been thinking lately #sorta realized how badly I stifle myself with my work because of someone I know #and just how much anxiety they give me over my hobbies sometimes #sitting aside for a bit and working on that personal project and just #having the space to do whatever was so damn nice and refreshing #and I want my posted works to have that same feeling #i feel like it may be why i keep having trouble with AWLB part 2 and staying focused #I keep looking at it through that anxiety lens they've saddled me with #it may just be this time of the year gettting to me too thats making really consider holding off on AWLB like this too. but.#the other stuff really doesnt help either #sorry for ranting. um #long story short. taking concerns from others into account is fine #but theres a big difference in things that are constructive and actually should be taken into account #and just not making something that's exactly what someone else wanted when you're just trying to create for yourself #don't let anyone pull the joy out of your hobbies for you. you'll just upset yourself. struggled to find joy in your work-#and get frustrated as hell with people.
