¡ Valentino redesing!

We finally have the baby!

(This redesign belongs to the Wish Au "Kingdom of wishes", written by @annymation and illustrated by @emillyverse and me)

This will surely be the redesign where I have the least things to say lol, but I still have some things to comment on so let's go!

At first I hadn't thought much about how I would redesign Valentino, what I was sure of was making him more adorable and cuter so that everyone would want to have a goat as a pet, because if I'm completely honest, Valentino's official design in the Disney movie I didn't find it adorable at all (sorry Disney artists, I know they put effort into drawing and animating but I just didn't like Valentino's design)

(Do you get my point? He's just not cute or adorable, and the voice they gave him didn't help either, or the face idk ,but I thought the joke about his voice at the beginning of the movie was funny ¯_(ツ)_/¯)

So I made a mental list of things I wanted to do (which aren't many if I'm honest): -Make it fluffier and fluffier -Give him other clothes -Add even one symbol in your redesign

Anny sent me several references of goats and concept art, among them I found this one, which I based myself on mainly because 1-I have always liked that animals had moles or spots on their fur or skin 2-When I saw that on their clothes You could see the seams that joined the different fabrics, I realized that it coincided with Asha's redesign (on the sleeves) so I was like: "AWWWWW it matches his mom's clothes!"

In the end I only added a part of it with a different fabric because I didn't want to complicate the design too much, but I liked how it turned out, I added some symbols of the tattoos that exist in the Amazigh culture, which is also to protect the person (or animal in this case) of the bad influences that are around them

I also liked adding that little ball of curly hair on our goat's little head, it just looks so cute!

FINAL COMMENTS!

As I said, this is not very long, but I'm satisfied with how the drawing turned out, I wanted to try something new that looks like the lighting was a sunset, I don't know if it's noticeable but at least it turned out nice lmao, as a curious fact, with this drawing I realized how MUCH my sketches change when I paint them in detail

…..BRO HOW THE HELL DID THIS CHANGE SO MUCH WITHOUT REALIZING ME? (ESPECIALLY ASHA)

Hello there fellow Disney fans, here's another update onto my "The Wishing Kingdom" rewrite, so here I created a little poster for a bit of promotion and just to get you an idea of what it is going to be: from the poster alone, my version is going to be about the REAL origin story of the famous wishing star with some scrapped elements included like the villain couple, a star boy, the idea of writing your wish on a tree, the village where people ran away from the villains and many more, and with this rewrite, I want to celebrate 100 years of Disney by showing you why it has made such a big impact on all of our lives!

Originally I wanted this to be half animated, half animatic but for some reason this is now going to be half written, half animated which means that in some sections I'll post some chapters with some sections of animation like the musical numbers and in some chapters, the scenes would be fully animated, so I'm looking forward to putting my foot forward into this!

During that time, it was taken to rewrite and redesign the main villain couple, King Magnifico and Queen Amaya, in the movie, I noticed that he had a tragic backstory which wasn't needed in terms of how far Disney villains go, but with a villain couple, they have a completely different story.

All Magnifico and Amaya wanted as their motivation is power, this was because they made a wish to become sorcerors who held all sorts of magic, but the stars rejected it as they feared that their magic would release the dark void which was used to suck all the power from the stars leaving them to slowly dissapear in the darkness, in response to this anger, they went to a cabin where they learnt incantations from a book, but there was one that gave them the power to become the sorcerors they always wanted to be, and with that power, they used it to create the kingdom of Rosas and anytime a few people came to the kingdom, they're immediately brainwashed into thinking that the couple's magic could be useful to grant their own wishes, for better and for worse.

During the story, they don't start off as powerful at first since when they are fostering Princess Asha, they keep their powers a secret by telling her the same story as to how they grant wishes for their people, kinda like they are gaslighting her in a way into believing that they can make other people's wishes come true, but as it progresses we get to see their true colours as to why they were hiding this power in the first place, it was a case of revenge from the star kingdom as they couldn't grant their own wish, with this, it kinda ties with the theme of despite having your wish come true being positive and happy, there is a dark side to it as well, and no matter what happens, you should have faith in yourself to make it come true.

Also, their villain song "This Is The Thanks I Get" will undergo 2 versions, the rewritten version and the rewritten reprise, I feel like the reason for this is because I want to try and give the essence of a true tribute to the villains of the past and the present, the title should be "Our Command" and the context shall be revealed in a few days once I get to it.

okay so i gotta get this out and it’s unusul deep for my acc

so basically my school has this (by teachers unknown) unofficial gossip account on instagram which is run by a student

and in the last couple days, the topic was kinda style of the students and styling tips (not specific just these irrelevant “be confident” “look on pinterest for inspo” etc ones) and now there’s been a survey for worst syling choices seen which tbh i hate that one. partlly bc I’ve been personally affected, which generally isn’t my problem bc if i still would care about all negative things someone says about me I’d killed myself last year (and thankfully i stopped caring bout others opinions bc tbh 13 y/o me did and it was no happy time) and whatever. so basically my problems with this survey are that some of the answers are pretty fucking specific and some poor 13 y/o girly is going to see this and is maybe never going to wear her fave jeans again just bc some anonyme online dude said they look ugly. and that shit hurts my soul because i once was that kid. and i know how much that hurts especially if you don’t really have friends and are just generally a loner. and NO ONE would say “i think xy is ugly” irl to me. no one would have the courage to walk up to me and say “your earrings are unstylish”. this may sound arrogant but tbh I’m known for being loud and proud and opinionated. but the think is, some kid might have to hear that every day by their parents. that they don’t look good enough or don’t work hard enough or whatever. and then they read in some weird online survey on an insta acc that was made for infos bout teachers n school stuff that their clothing is ugly and unstylish. on top of getting criticised/insulted every day by someone else. and that hurts. that hurts so much bc like getting criticed n insulted every day by one person, that’s something you can get peace with but hearing the same words by some anonym stranger online? that could be the last drop.

and no matter what, hearing specific stuff insulted that you do too, even if it wasn’t directed at you but someone else, that still hurts, because after a certain amount, for some more, some less, you take everything against you and it feels so weird in backsight, that you were disgusted of your natural features or your clothes or whatever just because someone else said something

and I know, I fucking KNOW that everyone who said these specific things, they would NEVER ever walk up to someone and say that stuff in another persons face.

and i know that this may sound weird and that someones gonna read this and say “well not all kids struggle” yes. not all. but enough. too many. and sadly, there will always be someone who struggles with their looks or their personality or their life and if you’re that person, I’m so sorry for you and I wish I could make you feel better

So I realized I was drawing Asha’s hair wrong… spare some refs for her hairstyle please?

(also. totally didn’t use this as an excuse to draw me sona some more.)

Of course Bo! Now that I realize KOW!Asha's hairstyle is a little difficult to understand? idk anyways here is the tutorial on how to draw KOWAsha's hairstyle!

First of all, the hairstyle is mainly inspired by this photo, I simply loved it when I saw it and I wanted to implement it in the redesign!

1-We start with a braid that is on the upper part of her forehead with another hanging on the part of her forehead (just like in the photo I showed before) This braid is also attached to another one that divides her hair

2-From that division we began to draw Asha's hair down with her cute curly hair

3-We add the dreadlocks and braids on the sides of the head, I mainly draw 2 next to each ear since they are the ones that are mainly seen, but in reality Asha has others, I do this to simplify the procedure and I detail them later when I start coloring my drawings

PLUS:

I like to always draw the right part of Asha's hair in front of her ear while the left part of her hair is behind her ear :]

I hope I explained it well!
