So a post I reblogged about no Dark Link in TotK being a missed opportunity got me thinking about how he could've been implemented:
You could find one of those journals in one of the Yiga outposts in the Depths talking about him. Here's how I think it could read:
Spotted the Hero in the Depths today. I attempted to approach while disguised as a member of the Zonai Survey Team.
Next Page
Bad idea. I was attacked immediately and viciously without hesitation. I barely escaped with my life!
Next Page
That... was not the Hero.
Next Page
Was that the Hero's Shadow spoken of in the old legends? It is said the Shadow would mirror the Hero's appearance and fighting skills... I believe it after that encounter.
Next Page
ATTENTION YIGA CLAN MEMBERS: If you spot this figure during your patrols, DO NOT APPROACH. This 'Shadow' will viciously attack anything and anyone that dares get near, even the Yiga Clan.
Next Page
Beware the Hero's Shadow.
Next Page
Glory to Master Kohga.
End
Dark Link would be patrolling the Depths, and upon spotting you, he will chase you down and attack, similar to the Gloom Hands. But unlike the Gloom Hands, you cannot escape by climbing to high ground and waiting for him to vanish. He will simply teleport up to you.
You can either deal enough damage to him, which will make him leave and reappear elsewhere in the Depths (like how the Yiga flee when defeated), or you can teleport far enough away so he loses track of you. Thankfully, he will not follow you to the Surface.
If he spots you while you're wearing the Dark Link outfit, he will be temporarily confused, giving you very limited time to run away or hide before he figures it out and starts attacking you. Similar to the Lynel Mask.
Also while you're wearing the Dark Link outfit, the Yiga will not ambush you, because they think you're the Hero's Shadow.
Dark Link's number of hearts will match that of the player's, just like in OoT. The stronger you get, the stronger he gets too.
He would also have the smartest enemy AI in the game, besides Ganondorf himself:
He dodges any thrown items or arrows shot at him, which means he cannot be cheesed with bombs. He will simply hop out of the blast radius before it lands. You must fight him in close melee combat.
He will mirror your strikes perfectly if you fight him with a one-handed sword and shield. However, he only wields a sword and shield, meaning you can attack him more easily with a different weapon, like... oh I don't know... a two-handed hammer? 😉
I'm not entirely sure what he'd drop upon defeat... Maybe his sword and shield?
Anyway, those are my thoughts. I'd love to hear other ideas :)
(EDIT: Added more stuff in a reblog!)

Hi hello I am writing Things for Danny Phantom Angstfest and prompts 1-3 will feature JAZZ
Set in the middle of what me and the Ectoberhaunt Dissec Chat folks call "bug au" AKA the GIW Found Out after capturing Danny and trying to control him - and now Jazz is on her way back home in the aftermath, looking for her brother, plotting the GIW's downfall, and... hiding a secret even Danny doesn't know about.

A small detail on this blog is that when I talk about the work Yancy does in the prison, it isn't always the same thing. He is part of the "unskilled labour" force, similar to what Mark and the Viewer were when they were trying to suck up to the guards.
What this simply means is that he isn't assigned to one place that requires long-term training. Examples of this would be food preparation, skill in using certain laundry machines, or working in the 'store' that returns laundry to the inmates.
Yancy doesn't mind too much, as it helps break the repetition of the days. He tends to be rotated between places on a weekly or fortnightly basis. The common locations are:
Mopping/sweeping the floors of common spaces
Washing dishes
Folding laundry (he does not like this)
Washing internal windows (such as those on office doors or in the med bay), and the inside of external windows. External windows need proper equipment and safety training when being cleaned outside due to the prison having more than one floor)
Unofficially, he's given advice when guards are having car problems.
There are some jobs that go outside the prison. Road cleaning, farm work, and hedge trimming are examples of this. There's a firefighting course that is extremely popular as it can lead to a secure employment when parole comes around. However, Yancy isn't too keen on these in settings where he's not ready to look for parole. He'd rather forget about the outside world as a whole.

At this point, I would rather that the Gloam eyed Queen was someone else than Melina
The fact that she was Marika's daughter could break the Gloam eyed Queen is Melina theory
Cuz if anything,Melina is very on the side of Marika, I mean she had quotes of Marika,a implied ties to the Black Knives who was also in league with Marika at some point hence her Death association, her guide of us to the Erdtree. Her entire quest seemingly based on finding the perfect Elden Lord's candidate, I do think that she was entrusted with that quest from Marika, just a girl doing what mommy asked her to
Gloam eyed Queen was possibly implied as the one who wanted dethrone Marika cuz she had all the qualities and the big fat truth of her being an Empyrean, but if so why did Melina seemed like she doesn't really hate Marika? My points up there, her goal is very align with finding someone who can replace the Queen Marika, doesn't matter if Melina even like the Erdtree
If Melina possibly respected her mother, what reason she has to overthrow her mom? It seemed so cheap if simple nepotism or inheritance battles was something in the Marika's kids. We all agree Elden Ring doesn't have simple cheap trope like that
So yeah this is hard to be a case of "Mommy was a meanie, she didn't let me get the throne so I went and made a cult to get back at her ass"
Good news! She's not, that's just the most popular theory and some folks sometimes forget that it's not canon.
But yeah, I have nothing of substance to add here. The points you made are part of why I also don't agree with the theory.
I've said my thoughts about Meli already so I won't repeat myself, I'll just say that while the GEQ theory can be interesting, sometimes things and characters are simply what they seem. And I personally think that's the case with Meli.
But I could be wrong, as always.

You know what?! Fuck it!!
I'm taking a break. I cant seem to let myself relax since i have stuff i said i would do, which in the end doesn't let me feel free enough to doodle or draw what i want and i end up doing nothing
So I'm taking a "break", in the sense of, i draw and post what i want, when i want. There is no rules to it.
I wanna work on my comic? I will!
I wanna doodle my ocs? I will!
I wanna write a random fic of a random au i made? I will!!
And if i dont wanna post? Well...i dont post!
Will that make my schedule wacky? Perhaps, but I've been straining myself, and i wanted to use summer break to be able to relax for the next school year. So yeah
Unless it's commissions, that i will not set back on. I'm still open, i need money-
