notes: i'm only three chapters in, but already this fic has hooked me in completely. it's beautifully readable, and just feels like such a vivid slice of early era am life. alex and miles are absolutely INSUFFERABLE in the best possible way - clearly obsessed with each other, but hiding behind the idea that they hate each other. the constantly simmering ust is wonderfully written, and the way they relate with each other feels so authentic (even if it also makes me want to knock their heads together). i can't wait to see where this fic goes 😍

yes i'm only two episodes into doctor who and no i have not seen torchwood. if you're wondering why in the world i listened to the episode anyway, the answer is simply: michael palin.
this is very welcome to nightvale "a story about you" vibes and i love it.

i adoreeee bittersuite part of it reminds me of i didn't change my number from happier than ever and i loveeee that i love the synths in it and the "if this is how i die, that's alright" part drives me insaneee also I LOVE the transition from bittersuite to blue

AHHHHHHH. oh my god SO MANY. I quite literally have most episodes memorized and I’ve watched the entire show probably 20 times over. Every episode every season. Also I watch the Superfan episodes so I don’t even know which scenes are canon and which ones are extra. But anyway!! Some of my fav (in no particular order cuz I love them all so much)
I LOVE THE LAST DUNDIES. when Deangelo and Michael are cohosting together and they film the little intro. Michael impersonates people of the office in it and at one point he falls over while acting as Phylis and goes “ahhh. I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” while laying on the floor and omg I die everytime it’s so good. Reminds me of myself when I pass out or my hip/ankles go out 😭
Also the goodbye scene with Jim and Michael and Dwight and Michael. I was SOBBING. it doesn’t matter how many times I see it, I will break into tears everytime. “Well just say goodbye tomorrow” oh my god I’m gonna cry thinking about it.
When Jim and Dwight have their snowball War and Dwight dresses up as Pam to nail Jim !!! I LOVE THAT SCENE. and then he goes “yes I have a wig for everyone in the office. You never know when you’ll need to bare a passing resemblance” and then it cuts to a ton of scenes of Dwight sharply spinning around while dressed up as different characters
“Identity thief is not a joke, Jim! Millions of families suffer every year!” Is too good lmfao. I love Jim and Dwight’s bantering. Plus “Michael!” “Michael!” “Oh that’s funny-“ 😭😭😭😭
I love the scene where Jim’s Asian friend pretends to be him and it’s legit just Dwight being so confused. He’s like you can’t be Jim! Jim’s not Asian! And then he looks at the family photo and it’s Pam and CeCe and their Asian friend. I cackle everytime lmfao.
Also the bachelor party episode when Jim orders a “male stripper” aka Benjamin Franklin and Dwight gets so mad because he’s trying to prove he’s not the real Benjamin Franklin. Bonus points for Michael having no knowledge of history when he introduced Benjamin Franklin. “When they came over on the mayflower!” 😭😭
I love the idea that the Stamford branch is obsessed with COD and their boss calls them in to talk but it’s literally just strategy lmao. Like come on Josh, you waste time in the office too. Also Jim being horrible at the game. I so relate to that.
ALSO ONE OF MY FAV EVER EPISODES. it’s the safety training one. Oh my god it’s so hilarious I like laugh so much. The first part where Dwight starts the fire and EVERYONE panics. Oscar climbing into the ceiling. Angela throwing Bandit into the ceiling on for him to fall out. When they ram the copier against the door and when Michael breaks the window and screamsssss 😭😭😭😭😭😭 and then it’s even better when they’re doing the CPR training and Dwight cuts the face off the dummy and wears it like oh my goddddd. That whole episode is PURE CHAOS. I swear that’s what it feels like is going on in my mind 90% of the time. Everyone’s running around screaming and freaking out lmfao.

At the very least I'll say the song I was most excited about was "Obsesión - Miguel Mateos" as a Cellbit and Roier monster au song because it fits so perfectly and it's one of my all time favorites (I love Miguel Mateos)
