I have finished season 2 of The Magnus Archives and I loved this season!!

It was so fun to meet new characters and to her more from Micheal, he’s definitely my favourite villain so far. God I miss Sasha tho, I can’t believe she’s dead 😭 I also can’t believe Elias killed Jurgen Leitner, I mean I know he turns to be a villain in some sort of way but I was definitely not expecting him to kill Leitner

I’m so excited to listen to the next season, I swear I’m shaking!!!

I was listening to MAG79 in the car and thought Jon said, "Mahtin?" When Not!Sasha gets sucked away to wherever it went after Jurg started reading and that. That made my jmart heart jump because I thought Jon was terrified for his life in these pitch black tunnels and his first thought was that Martin-K(I-Have-A-Korkscrew)-Blackwood saved him again somehow.

But alas, 'twas the traffic that scuffled the sound of Jon's incredulaic, "wha?"

i unfortunately haven’t gotten the time to watch ready or not, but i was inspired by the very red ost cover and by episode 79 so i tried this! ids belowwww :)

I’m getting into The Magnus Archives far too late but I just finished MAG79 Hide and Seek. For the first time. And let it be known. That I am in TEARS. Over this podcast. And I know it’s only going to get worse. Words can’t describe how emotionally distressing Jonathan Sims’ voice acting is so instead I’m just going to repost this meme from Pinterest.

MAG1 the angler fish

-what a good fucking opener. the details with the mans mouth not moving, and his feet touching the ground?? and the way he fucking folded in half like he was jerked back?? man. what an intense start

MAG3 across the street

-THE FUCKING NOT THEM..... MAN THOSE FUCKING THINGS SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF ME. THE FUCKING HAND AND ARM MAN

MAG10 vampire killer

-the imagery of the vampire.... i prefer traditional vampires to whatever the fuck that was. trevor herbert is a stronger man than me

MAG15 lost johns cave

-of course the cave diving episode but the added audio of her talking.... man i fucking jumped. holy shit that episode scared me

MAG23 schwartzwald

-the game about the kids sneaking down until 'it sees them'? that freaked me the fuck out.

MAG25 growing dark

-the fucking face in the mirror... MAN. being watched well i dont like that. at all

-something about the whole ARG aspect of computer programs getting weirder scares me.... also the imagery was really vivid? impressive for a statment about a guy eating his computer

-notsasha scared the SHIT out of me. i couldnt even listen to this episode alone. jesus CHRIST man

-this episode was SO fucking good. the context that it gives, the storytelling, i fucking LOVED listening to this episode. im so glad i didnt get spoiled for this part bc holy fucking shit. something about that book creeped the hell out of me. he was right that book was fucked up

MAG124 left hanging

-whatever the fuck was on their cable car scared the SHIT out of me

MAG149 concrete jungle

-something about the unmoving statues of humans made from scrap that started to move.... and the whole artificial village.... super uncanny valley damn

ok there are. definitely more season one creeped me the fuck out but those are the ones that stand out rn

i don't know if anyone has already said this but imagine tim being in jon's place during mag79 oh my god???

your close friend, maybe even the closest friend you've had, who you realized is not them all along. it would be heartbreaking. tim would be furious.

"It’s okay Tim; it’s Sasha. Reliable old Sasha." and tim thinking that nononono you're not sasha you're not her you're definitely not her but why can't i remember her?

imagine tim having to hear that it's going to wear his skin, that he'll be replaced by this thing that pretended to be sasha, that it will hurt

that it hurt sasha when it was done to her

i can't even explain how tim would be so utterly broken than he already is
