my little self-indulgent headcanon that tim and elias used to have a weird little flirty dynamic and tim used to sort of catcall elias all the time (with his consent and frankly enthusiastic participation in the bit). and then around s3 it all just. stopped. elias didn't need to Know something was wrong with tim, he could tell by the fact that he no longer whistled everytime he'd bend over to pick up a pen.
