[Pollrunner's Note: Propaganda written entirely by myself.] We meet Mettaton in the game mid-transition (in his calculator form) and his entire boss battle is fought after he transforms into the new body his scientist friend, Alphys, made for him. His entire involvement in the game prior to this was him messing with and threatening the protagonist just to make Alphys look good, which is honestly friendship goals.

We meet the character that's likely meant to be his pre-transitioned self, Nobody, in Deltarune, who is notably more withdrawn. Much of the events tied to Chapter 2's secret boss are implied to have him as an unintentional catalyst, as Swatch describes how he'd helped "a lightner" achieve their dreams by designing a robot body that JUST HAPPENS to resemble Mettaton's. How Mettaton's story continues in Deltarune's universe will be determined by future chapters.

It's my new favorite MtG flavor text, right next to ichor art Sawblade Scamp!! (And like Sawblade Scamp, I first saw it in potato leak quality.) It's such a good illustration of green as it appears in Simic <3

I honestly don’t know if it is an unpopular opinion or not, but I really like Omenpaths and the kind of sets that they enable.

Just wrapped up this DUNE painting! Reverend Mother Jessica Atreides and the Water of Life.

This is my second interpretation of this iconic character. The first version just felt off and less exciting than the rest of the series. For a character with such a significance in the story I decided to go back to the drawing board and redo it from scratch.

Magic the Gathering tip: every set can be a commander set if you play commander

Magic the Girlbossing: Year 2 Submissions are open!

Magic lore is host to many a girlboss, but only one of them can be crowned the number one girlboss, a goal that I am sure all of them hold equally.

This is where you come in: this is a poll bracket in which we will pit over 100 girlbosses against each other, but I need submissions! Below is a form in which you can submit your favorite girlboss to compete in the tournament.

We held this tournament last year, but since then many, many sets worth of Magic story have come out and new girlbosses have entered the fray, along with old girlbosses being given more to do. In keeping with our goal of discovering the most girlboss of all time we must be constantly revisiting this vonpetition (also it's fun)

The rules of submission are in the form itself, but of note is that the top four of last year's tournament will be ineligible for submission. These are Vraska, Alesha, Liliana, and Teysa. At the end of this tournament, the new top four will be pitted up against the old so we can know the score once and for all.
