@curiousyellowkafe is a Swedish deli that has all the enchantment of a village tearoom in one of London’s busiest spots, #Hoxton. I paid it a visit recently and had the #shakshuka. This is a North African and Middle Eastern #dish which consists of #poachedeggs in a sauce of tomatoes, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, onion, garlic, spring onions, and spinach. Although the cayenne pepper adds an extra kick, this is not a hot-spicy dish, but rather flavourful-spicy. The shakshuka is traditionally served for breakfast, although it can be had at any time during the day. Belly-filling and at just under ten quid, my breakfast was good value for money. I could insert almost any complimentary adjectives here about Curious Yellow Kafé, but all I’ll say is that they’re just plain great.
