whitebeard family beach episode family vacation

you're staying with the whitebeard family so of course you're coming on the family vacay originally when they mention it you try to brush it off, you're indebted to them already for letting you stay with them you can't possibly intrude on their family vacation that is until pops is like no you're coming no negotiations (he views getting his kids like the cat distribution system I feel, so at this point you just belong with the fam)

and it's fine, sounds fun to go to the beach. That is until you're reminded that these guys are loaded when you show up to a mostly private reserved house with attached beach after being squished between luffy and ace in the van and they both snore on your shoulders

and before the trip you went shopping for swimsuits with nami and you're nervous bc you feel like she went a little overboard and you don't want to wear anything inappropriate around all the brothers and before yall left you tried to find ace to ask him about it but ran into izou instead and he offered to take a look and give approval or not which is fine, izou is very respectful (but he 100% makes it a point to brag about it around sabo/marco that he got to see your swimsuit first in private)

and your swimsuit IS fine, what you miscalculated on was the fact that all of ace's hot brothers are roaming around in THEIR swimming suits and you're like damn it's hot on this beach and just trying not to get caught staring (not that that works but....)

sabo wants to take you out on a jetski, and marco wants to take you tubing, but anytime either of them come up to offer luffy/ace/thatch interrupt the two brothers run into each other at breakfast since they both seem like early risers and conclude that neither of them are sabotaging the other, and rightfully suspect izou who's having a blast

so they just make a deal where they'll be each other's buffer to the interlopers and manage to squeak out some little 'date' time in activities that have you in close proximity with very little clothings in between like having to hold onto sabo on a jetski (or him behind you showing you how to drive) or getting tugged on a tube behind a boat with marco up snug to make sure you don't blow off

then watching fireworks together on the beach sandwiched in between them because ace and luffy are running around lighting the fireworks off and them getting realllll close bc they don't want you to get cold!

oh but I also was thinking whitebeard would just be watching it all with amusement and he'd have a bet with one of the older sons on how long it takes for SOMEONE to make a move but I don't know the older sons well enough to pick one tho

that's what I got for now I need to adult and put a shelf together but like idk if you've watched ouran high school host club but I was thinking about their beach episode the other day and I think that's what made this come into my brain

.... I'mma write this story. I mean, I'm just going to have to start it tonight, that's all there is to it. I'd apologize to everyone waiting on updates to other wips, but I gotta go where my brain goes, and my brain is now on the beach.

YES I LOVE OURAN HOST CLUB AND I LOVED THE BEACH EPISODES (the fake beach and the real beach one).

After the beach Izou just starts pulling you into projects and jobs with him directly. He's not trying to steal you away from Marco or Sabo, but if he can't send people in, he'll just drag you out. It might seem like he's just being a little shit, but he really just wants to move the confession along.

This is all post dealing with your exes and getting over you being tangentially familial for both of them, and he's waited long enough. It's painfully obvious that the three of you like one another romantically, and he's 99% sure you're only quiet about it because you feel indebted to the family and don't want to cause drama.

No matter who you "picked" there would be tension and raw feelings afterward. What Izou needs to try and help you understand is that choosing both is as valid an option as anything else. Marco and Sabo are already working together to stop Izou from interfering, so there's already a good healthy foundation for it.

Half of Izou's interference is to prod Sabo and Marco to confront him - and when they do he lays out the entire concept of a throuple or threesome or whatever, and I feel like Marco and Sabo will both be like "Yeah, we've talked about that." kind of deal.

(Izou and the reader are going to be on the same time table if I can write this how I want. Twitchy and an inch away from yelling "GET ON WITH IT" or "KISS ALREADY" xD by the time things really start moving.)

hi love 🤍 i just got back from spending 4 consistent days with my boyfriend. we went out of town for 3 which also had us in the car together for 2 12hour trips, and then i spent all of saturday with him and left this morning. we’ve been together consistently for more days than that on another trip but that was when we very first started dating more than a year ago so it was different because our relationship was new. after the past 4 days though i feel very weird with him like something isn’t right. we were both pretty grumpy on our road trip since it was such a long drive so we had little petty issues throughout it but nothing major. then saturday was so good we went up to this mountain on this beautiful drive, then we went out with this other couple and went to dinner, shopped a little bit and he bought me 2 things from lululemon and some bath & bodywork stuff, then we all went to see a movie. like it was such a great day except we did have 1 little fight earlier that day but we made up pretty fast. sooo i’m not sure why i feel so weird about him or us? maybe it’s because i’m so exhausted and just spent almost 100hours straight with him so i’m just worn out but i’ve been feeling it all today since we woke up together. i really can’t figure out what it is i just feel weird and there’s not much else i can say to describe it. i’ve also been getting a feeling that i bore him now or that his feelings aren’t as intense as they used to be but idek why i feel that way when he shows me so much love and still spoils me? idk i’m in such a off putting mood lol

i really think you just being with him for so long and especially you both being tired and driving a lot has something to do with it. this prob sounds weird but i understand exactly how your feeling and i think you are just overthinking out of exhaustion. whenever i’m so tired like that i just overthink until i drive myself crazy and convince myself that there are these problems that aren’t actually there. try and get some sleep and once you are refreshed and talk to your boyfriend and hang out with him again i’m sure you will feel so much better! this feeling won’t last and i don’t think your boyfriend is getting bored of you at all. you just went on a great vacay and had a lot of fun. again, we can’t let ourselves overthink like this lovie. get some rest and talk to him 🤍

We are totally hanging out first! Honestly I don’t understand why we keep putting you with Dylan in the same car, you win at everything. maybe I should switch the cars around and give you Ryan instead? But Brigid+Dylan is 😍 and I need that to happen. Wait imagine we are all in our cars and we just pull up all at the same time to a red light and we roll down the window and just laugh at each other and then we all zoom away. I would absolutely not let Ryan sit up front with me, we would probably start smacking each other and chirping each other and I would lose concentration so imma put him in the back with Braden :) . Quinner can come and hold my hand because he’s gorgeous and I wanna hold his hand. Quinton would be fine, he’s seems like he would be slightly chaotic. Kesh has the most chill car. Like Kirby, Dylan C and Devon are all chill and would just be calmly talking while Kesh is driving.

When we are all together tho, it’s more chaotic. Haha yes the braiding is not going well for Dylan and Jamie they’d be like “How do I do this?” I don’t understand this. Why does this exist lol. Yess I would have to pull over and make them switch with Devon and quinton hehe. They would just be calmly braiding your hair and then Jamie and Dylan would be slightly jealous and pouting in the back. Just a warning I love music so imma play that loud and roll down the windows. Only for a bit tho . Also kesh omg late night drives are so cute. Also imagine all of us in a grocery store, that would be so chaotic. Also why do I feel like Braden, Kirby , Dylan C would pass out for literally the entire drive?

Malt teaser are yummy, but what about sour patch kids orrrrr peanut putter filled M&Ms. Have you ever had those? I always get them if I go to the movies:) Nutella is good too! ok yes, first of all i love all of this 💖

so ig it’s been decided that dylan and i are in the same car so we can dominate once again lol. and then jamie and quinton are there too and then jamie and dyl are just trying to talk over each other to have a convo with me, so then i start ignoring them and talk to quinton instead hehe. omg yes if we all pull up at a red light at the same time, i’m that one person who just keeps inching forward when someone rolls up next to them and then as soon as the light turns green i’m gone lmao. so esp if it was you guys i would be being extra competitive. haha yes banish ryan to the back with braden so he doesn’t make you crash the car bc we’re too broke to pay for rental car damages. and then quinner gets to sit in the front with you and hold your hand 🥺 and then kesh is just vibing in her car and then i feel like they would all get distracted and decide to go sight-seeing and forget about the race lol

omg all of us in the grocery store together is literally the worst idea ever. like it would be so chaotic, all of us would be running around the store looking for whatever food we wanted. and we would not get like any healthy food, it would all be junk food, which would be horrible for all of us athletes lmao. and then in the end the cart would be overflowing and half the boys would come running up to us with more food they wanted and then the cash register would just be like wtf why do you need sm food. but we would end up eating it all by the end of our trip bc we all eat so much

omg sour patch kids, resees and peanut butter m&ms are like my three favorite candies so we would have to stock up for the drive. i just looked up all dressed ruffles and now i literally want to try them so bad. but we would have to have so many bags bc we all eat so much lol. and then yes i love dark chocolate, so bring any kind of dark chocolate. and then we have to be at least a little bit healthy and bring like carrots and peanut butter or something. and then making pit stops to get nainaimo bars and poutine bc i want to try both those things lol

I think my family have gotten complacent abt covid19. Like we all still wear masks etc (except when we fucked up and visited nephew and sister and bro in law without masks and they'd been at a funeral with other people...why the hell were none of us wearing masks????? My sister is a nurse she shouldve been like plz wear masks' but no we all just. Acted like it was a normal day holy shit. But cant change the past, can only go forward). But yeah like. Steph insisted and pushed so now we have a vacay planned for August, and I mean both here and there have low numbers rn but that doesnt mean anything. Someone just came back to ny after visiting Florida and didnt quarantine so now Westchester county has new cases again. Even though we're planning to socially distance as much as possible on the Cape (our hotel rooms are connected, have kitchenettes, restaurants are doing takeout, and the hotel beaches are not usually super crowded and we could always walk to a less crowded one, and obviously we're going to wear masks and stuff) I dont know if its reaaaallly a good idea at all. For all we know the hotel and beach and towns could be packed with idiots not wearing masks. And then besides that...steph is kind of like well stores are open now so we Have to go clothing shopping! I only went to stores to buy things specifically for projects or gift for nephew related or food shopping, we went to target wearing masks of course and I think socially distanced fairly well, but I feel like now it's like okay let's get back to normal! Meanwhile covid19 is STILL HERE and still a threat!!! And everyone's getting lax about handwashing/disinfecting things, steph asked me if we're still wiping groceries down with lysol wipes and im like....uh, YES???? covid19 is still a threat!!!!!! I havent cleaned my wallet or tried to disinfect my cloth bag after going to stores despite touching them after touching other things in stores because I only really touch/carry/use them when im wearing a mask or I wash my hands asap after handling it, but maybe I should clean it anyway. Steph went from insisting strongly that we wear gloves when shopping for anything, be it food or garden supplies, to not wearing them at all. She went from insisting purel isnt enough to disinfect properly after shopping, to considering hands clean if she used purel, and not washing again after getting home. I think, I could be wrong. But even a month ago she was very insistent about it. I get that she wants to act like normal, because she already had something control her life (and she's at the one year mark post breast cancer treatment btw! I think that's part of it, she wants to celebrate. But I'm terrified she's forgetting the very real danger doesnt care, and getting covid19 would put a damper on celebrating.)

Ma is frustrated with her hair length/style and though I've offered to cut it (I cut my own, I can do hers! Easier not in a mirror and backwards!) It makes her nervous and she'd rather a pro do it, but I just.... yeah, we went shopping briefly, and things are opening up again, and hairdressers are open, but it doesn't mean you have to go, or should go. She trimmed the most frustrating part of her hair herself this morning so maybe she doesnt want to or wont go to someone rn after all. Idk. Like yes I went to the dentist and I have another appointment coming up, but with the number of cavities I have I think its essential (also the pain from the back tooth was getting bad and getting the crown put on has helped me eat comfortably, which I think is important). Haircuts arent essential or worth risking health for in my opinion. Making sure my nephew had a good birthday despite having to go to a funeral (unrelated to covid19) on his birthday was worth getting balloons for him and getting craft supplies for my gift. I want to go to the store to return clothing so I dont waste money on shipping it back, as much as I'd like to get clothing - I'd like more tank tops and regular shorts or capris - it feels like a bad idea, it feels like a tempting, dangerous taste of normalcy that really isnt necessary when covid19 is still a threat. I want to go back to work, I am losing money due to health insurance and spending on stuff here and there, but SHOULD I try to go back? Should I call work and talk to manager like I planned, or should I wait? Can I go back to work when we have a vacation planned? Is it worth the risk of interacting with so many people inside a store, and maybe not remembering to wash hands before my break/before eating or something bc I wasnt always gr8 at that before this (I'd touch all the paints and things and then go to the breakroom and eat and like...hands!! Dirty!!!). Like, is it worth it to go back to work??? I would like to be making money. I would like to not be in the house all the time/at home all the time. If we are going to stores to shop, though, why not go to work? But the amount of time is less I guess. Idek.

okkkk so i’m finally home from school and practice now so i’m ready to respond. i’m taking notes from kesh and adding a keep reading bc this is gonna be longgggg so be warned to anyone reading this

haha yes i’m keeping quinton up front with me bc i don’t want him to jump out of the car lmao. i’m not going to subject him to the possible sexual tension that would be going on in the car if dyl or jamie were in the front. like if one of them were in the front they would just start touching my thigh or something knowing the other one could see it but couldn’t do anything about it. and then i would get distracted from driving and we wouldn’t win lol. so i’m making jamie and dyl sit in the back so they mostly dyl can just yell at me to drive faster so that we win. and then i’ll just chill and talk to quinton bc i want to annoy the other two lol
