These illustrations are of my latest obsession, “Wars of the Heart” by @midnightfire1222 and @dreamverie
The story is very dark and intense so I experimented with an inky, Grimm fairytale sort of style with these illustrations.

“Importance in Love Form” was the PERFECT follow up to that devastating (jk) Tailstube episode! I’m glad Amy got some justice in that fic 🥰
“Changing Seasons” broke my heart, but man was that angst tasty! I’m sad to see the author hasn’t updated it in awhile. I hope they will come back to it because I was really enjoying it.
“Rosy Cheeks” was so sweet and charming. It warmed my heart up and it was nice to get the sense of winter because where I live it’s hot as hell right now haha
“Blind Date”… ahhh!!! Oooh that was such a fun, flirty, embarrassing little glimpse into an AU that I would love to see more of!

tbh i think both of them have toxic shippers who are obsessed with the ship
in sonamy its always people saying sonic secretly likes her back but is too shy to admit his love. when has this ever been stated?! the only thing we ever got is him avoiding her or treating amy like his little sister or one of his best friends. yea sure he accepts a hug in frontiers? friends can hug too, i do that all the time with my best friend
in sonadow its also really problematic maybe even worse. and i am myself a sonadow shipper but i cant stand those toxic shippers in sonadow. they always make it about sonadow in other ship media and see the tiniest bit of friendly interaction as flirting its infuriating honestly
