I don't know what to say about this other than it was purely self-indulgent. 🖤

*Me and Dru, we’re movin’ in*
I’m really happy with how this turned out, I’ve been slowly learning how to render better lol. I also did a background which I never do

later season is a bit silly sometimes, this episode annoyed me a bit. She basically told him to lie, and when it turns out he was wrong for lying she acts like she never played along?!

H U S H
(Digital painting created in Procreate)
Another digital painting finished and we’re branching out from Star Wars to the Buffyverse!
In the time this drawing took, I finished my PhD to become a Doctor (in physics, I’m not that kind of doctor) and started a job as a research scientist. I started this in March 2023 and finished it 2 days before 2024 started. I draw when stressed or for fun and let me tell you, writing a 260+ page thesis is heckin stressful, as is doing a viva (thesis defence) and so is starting a new job!
Please give credit if shared

Okay so I thought I'd be brave and post some of my art on here. This is a digitally coloured version of a traditional drawing I did a while ago. It has a special place in my heart because the conversation around it actually inspired my lovely fandom friend Stiney to write a gorgeous fic that made me cry, and my other (very talented) friend to make beautiful art based on the tattoo Buffy got in that fic.
I'm not a professional artist by any means, I paint/draw because it brings me joy and I want to spread that to other people so for people to get inspiration from my artwork?? For it to mean something to them?? It genuinely made my year.
(link to the fic because y'all should read it:

One day I was redraw this Spike and the idea came into my head to draw Corazon someday in the style of the final scene of Cowboy Bebop, and all thanks to the wonderful voice of seiyuu Kōichi Yamadera.
But so far I haven’t found the strength in myself to do this. Need to practice more :(
