And with one swish of the pen the writer changes one of the most iconic scenes of first love in a kdrama and turns it into an iconic scene of selfless love while firmly placing the narrative on the female lead. Now that is a plot twist I like!
*grabs her hand and takes her somewhere quiet*
"What is it? What is this about?"
"I was going to wait a bit longer but-
I don't think I can hide it anymore"
"what?"
"Do you know what I despised the most? -
the rain.
I would get irritated and annoyed by the dampness in the air but...
it rained when I saw you for the first time -
I liked it that day.
I didn't think I could suddenly like something I hated my whole life.
I just thought that day was perhaps just an exception;
But I was wrong.
I still don't hate them
I don't think I will ever hate them -
the rain...and you.
Sol,I like you...a lot."
"You should go"
"I'll come back tomor-"
"No. Don't come back."
Is he tracking me from my bloodlust? But that won't let him know exactly where I'm coming from! What the— Wait... Are you kidding me? What... the hell... - Ore dake Level Up na Ken - Episode 9
I may have forgotten to actually make something, so this is more of just another ARISE song, but you can imagine this song was released on Valentine’s Day
Made after hearing Choi Jong-In's voice in the English dub (It was a lot deeper than I expected)
Fun fact: Jong-In has twice as many lines as the others but doesn't have any lines by himself (his voice's also so soft and low in the song that it's a little hard to hear)
I can only imagine what the Sun Jae/ Im Sol/ Tae Sung love triangle must look like to the rest of the world. She managed to land two of the hottest guys in existence by being equal parts adorable and insane, the combination of which gave them both so much brain damage, they were nearly electrocuted to death trying to kill each other in her mom's rental store.
Im Sol gave the lottery numbers to her brother not to ensure he or the family gets rich, she knows they never needed it to be happy, but so that her best friend does not regret choosing her brother. She did it for their future happiness.
tae sungie and sun jae bonding over their love for sol is true bromance, in hyuk being disgusted by it is bromance as well with peak bromance being tae sungie and sun jae defending sol simultaneously
Despite all the heavier emotions in these last 2 episodes, the writers never forget to remind us that Sun Jae, Tae Sung, and In Hyuk are still in fact idiotic boys.
