Hii I just wanted to say I love your driptober series! As a trans catgirl with a pretty similar body type and hair color/length it's really fun to see a character I can really relate to in a variety of outfits and styles.

I think August's audition would be nice, maybe adding the part where they meet the MC would make it a little longer, if u think only the audition isn't enough.

I have another suggestion which is not the RO's POV but maybe a band POV if that's something you're interested in... which could include the events of the party, like when UW accused our band of cheating, the fight and the day after with the bit before the drummer audition. Idk if this is a good idea since it would be 3 people in one pov lol but it was something that came to mind so I decided to throw it out there. Also, I feel like it would be nice to see their reaction/thoughts on the events and MC's actions through their own eyes, and not only MC's.

But if you're looking only for more RO pov, maybe Seven's reaction to the bus arrangements with the lines u mentioned on the tumblr before, G meeting MC on stage for the first time, I'd like to see 7's thoughts on their own interview as well but I feel like that'd be something for Chap 2 lol

Anyway, these are just some suggestions of what I thought could be interesting. Also, I feel like even if some scenes are shorter than what you'd like, I don't think people would mind, we just want to spend more time with the amazing characters u created.

Sometimes it feels like it’s only Elain’s choice when it involves Azriel. What if she doesn’t want Azriel later on? Or if she wants to be single, or leave the Night Court, or travel to the Continent? I know some E/riel’s use the word choice a lot, but it’s as if Azriel is her only choice. Elain should be more than someone who is reduced to a love interest.

So true anon, I see this all the time. I'm thinking specifically of the claim "if Elain ends up with Lucien it's because she chose what everyone else wanted for her, and not what she wants for herself." First of all, we do not have her POV so we don't know what Elain truly wants yet. Most of the pro Elriel arguments I see are incoherent. They stress how important it is that Elain chose Azriel but at the same time claim that Elain is happy in the Night Court, she has found purpose, she has best friends, etc. But did Elain choose to become Fae? Did she choose to move to Velaris? Did she choose to end her engagement to Graysen? Did she choose to have Nuala and Cerridwen as her friends? No, to all of it. She was forced into the cauldron against her will. She was taken to Velaris by the inner circle and forced to live in the House of Wind. She was dumped by Graysen, the man she loved and hoped to marry. She became friends with Nuala and Cerridwen because Rhysand assigned them to attend to her. She was forced into all of this, and I see her making the best out of a bad situation. So why is it okay for Elain to be confined to the life that was forced on her but not okay if she wants to choose something different? 🤔
