#so my mom's wake thing was today and that was a lot. not in an emotional sense but in a im standing here talking for 3hrs #to ppl i dont kno or barely kno. ya kno? but it was good bc so many ppl showed up to talk abt her #so many people. my mom made a huge impact on the school system. so many ppl relied on her. she encouraged at least 2 ppl to get their #master. for one person to specilize in helping the dyslexic after her experience advocating for 3 dyslexic daughters. she wrote and was #awarded a 10000 dollar grant for special needs and intervention curriculum. which will affect so many lives.#everyone loved her. she's gonna get a track meet named after her and a scholarship created in her honor.#she was an amazing person and she affected a lot of lives and im glad she was my mom. and she raised at least one jem in my littlest #sister who is so sweet and is a great teacher. god but there was some weird stuff too. were pretty sure her old boss was in love with her.#and there were some weird comments abt her being a strong woman or this woman doing so much and its like hm y do i detect a note of sexism #y not say she was an amazing person? y the surprise? weird comments about how pretty i looked. which yes i looked great lol. my funeral fit #was cute. we did bright colors bc it was a celebration not a dower event. and im sure it was ment well but it was a lil weird. and then #everyone was telling my grandma what a great job she did raising my mom and like god fuck off she didn't do jack. my mom was great despite #her terrible mother. ugh. but altogether it was good that everyone was able to express their love for her. it was def a day that was for #them mostly. i mean partly for us but mostly for them. none of us even cried. ay but we have 2 more parties in her honor #bc everyone loved her so much we have to do one in her hometown too. plus a personal friends get together. ugh. im so tired #i wish i wasnt the most awkward. eye contact avoidant person in the room but like ya kno. what can ya do?#unrelated

#me? about to use tumblr as a diary again? in 2024? unfortunately:/#but here have a waterfall i saw on a hike last week as payment #i am sO tired and exhausted emotionally after dating #there's this guy that i fr thought was going to last and be around for a long time. we spent like every moment together that we could for 2 #months straight and if we werent physicaly together we were texting or calling or on ft . just every part of our day had the other in it #not once did i ever feel unwanted undesired or uncared for. not once did i feel that i wasnt sure of his intentions. i felt safer with him #in those 2 months than i ever did with any one else i could think to compare to.#until one day he just didnt think it important to communicate any more. after 3 days of nearly nothing .. hardly any talking . i asked if #he was ok if we were ok. what was going on in his head. he said some ive just been with my buddies and family and havent been on my phone #and just. immediately thats heartbreak yanno. thats :// thats what they say when theres a new girl. but there'd never been a reason to think #there was another girl so i was like ok we're gonna trust bc this dude has been So good in every way. so i said imy but i understand. enjoy #your time with your buddies and with your fam -- i cant wait to hear about it (and hold you)#and i havent heard from him in the 3 weeks since. just randomly #so last night #i send the dreaded 'i miss you' text.#i dont expect to hear back and i accept the hurt that will come with that and the confusion that i've felt settles deeper into my heart #until this afternoon i hop on ig and see a hard launch that was posted an hour after my text was sent #that shit kinda hurt different. but also sent me into a bit of a delirious state where all i could do is laugh bc are you for fucking real #did she see my message? i know it. bc i know him and i know that he wouldnt hide anything from the person he's giving his heart #and his softness to. i can almost imagine how he showed her and promised her theres nothing to worry about #and there really isnt anything to worry about because he genuinely is the type to give his all to the relationship he's in #which feels silly to say after what happened w us. like no there wasnt a title ever #it sucks to call it a situationship because a month ago we were laughing in bed together about how we could never bc we were all in.#just the timing of the hard launch makes me giggle. did my text push them to have a conversation about what they are. was she really the #reason that he went away on me.#im trying not to blame myself . trying not to think about the phone calls i didnt answer. about what i could have done differently. trying #not to think about where we would be if i didnt let my anxieties hold me back. if i wasnt scared about what he'd think of the parts of me #that i keep hidden just a little bit longer than the rest.#and at the same time im trying not to put him on a pedestal. but that pedestal is just where i wholeheartedly believe he belongs #he set the bar for me. he set the standard. i was never too much. i was never too little. he made me feel perfect just as i am

the fucking audacity of watching the pixar short film “going home” while i’m home for my grandma’s funeral.

#like….. yeah #2 weeks ago i did not know id be here rn #i did not know she would take a turn for the worse this fast #im very thankful things worked out to where i could be here #for my wife and her support and i guess my boss and coworkers for their understanding #i have been lucky to not have been here for the very tough times #im thankful to be here with my family now #theyre doing a lot of new housing in my town now #many buildings i walked by as a kid have been demolished and are being rebuilt #we emptied my grandmas room today. she had only lived there for about 3 weeks before passing #we drive by my mom olds house. the house i grew up in. the new owner still hasnt torn down my old curtains in my old room #the old curtains my grandma had sewn for me when i was a baby #my dad is thinking about moving too. too many new buildings too many new people too much noise #two of my cousins have kids now! and the third one is getting married soonish? her fiance seems nice. he seems like he cares about her #my nephew and niece are so big now. i still havent met my other niece #i wonder if any of my old classmates have had kids? if they moved too?#ill be leaving again on tuesday. itll be a looong day #my parents have more and more grey hairs every time i see them #i dont see my brother as much as id like. hes following his dreams and im proud of him. hes a good kid #anyway the guy who made said short film is literally just like me fr #from germany and had been in the us 5 years (at the time) and making this short film?#just like me fr #anyway. this became one of those diaries for me posts haha #it just really captured how it is really well

my grandma is the type of person where she can't just vibe she Needs to be helpful and prove that she's six steps ahead doint the Right Thing. and it's exhausting!!!!!! I am easy-going on purpose because I like my life being as frictionless as possible. almost nothing in day-to-day life is worth pitching a fit over. so many things are within the boundary of Okay 👍. and it's frustrating to have someone essentially refuse to take you at your word and invent problems for you to have so they can be the one to solve them. I am chill why is the version of me that exists in your head so profoundly unchill!!!!

#every time i visit she buys and cooks shitton of food like 3x the ammount that is reasonable for the ammount of time im there #which is typical grandma behavior except #a) she acts like she assumes im going to find it all disgusting so i have to reassure her its good and then also #b) acts like if i dont eat something #which again is impossible bc she made enough to feed six people #that i dont like it. like im here for 2 days and she made 3 breakfast options #then threw out and remade one because it was 'almost' burnt #i step into a dark room for half a second to grab something and she jumps up to turn on the light and go 'there!!! isnt that better!!!“#no i was fine stay in your chair!!!! you did not need to come save me from a slighlty dim room!!!#idk it stresses me out to be treated like a hypercritical snob when im activelt trying to be gracious and easygoing

Dreams: quitting my job in a fuck you way after my vacation next week

#going away for a week #i just wanna no call no show but specifically on a day im one of the only people working my department #<333 #they changed my position so now im doing shit the specialists should be doing but ofc dont bc they dont do shit #and according to my manager im not doing it good enough and need to be retrained #LIKE YEAH IM GOING A LITTLE SLOW BUT ITS A LONG ASS LIST #im doing the thing where u call people and be like why haven't u picked up ur shit #oh u did 6 months ago #THEN WHY DID NO ONE TAKE IT OUT OF THE FUCKING SYSTEM RAHHH #literally no one has done it in over 6 months there was one from fucking may #theres 2 lists the first one was like 15 pages with roughly 20 customers that i have to call individually #or email the department if they dont have any info listed #and the manager thinks i havent been calling each customer.... and havent been making notes WHICH I HAVE #basically im so pissed im ready to quit like im literally just waiting for my week of free pay to go by and im ready 2 walk #she made a backhanded comment bc her and another manager took out 10k in an hour so imagine how much they could do in 3 days bc its taking #me so long #which is the part im pissed about #ill probably be okay once i get to talk to the other person roped into this bc she sent the email to them too #im so prepared to just walk out if she says anything rude in person i will just hand her my vest and gooo #theres a place here that apparently sucks to work for but they pay really good and pay weekly #and have good benefits #like their lowest position is 17 an hour #and its just retail #ill end my rant i think im at limit anyway

a/n: sorry this is so short, i had no clue how to fulfill this tbh but i tried my best! hope you like it x

"bil, for the last time," I sighed heavily, "im not going to be able to make it. I'll make it up to you, I promise."

billie whined on the other end of the phone, "it's not the same, ma."

I continued packing my suitcase. "I know, babe, but you know I have a huge meeting that I can not miss."

she grumbled, "I know." I heard water running and movement. "Wish me luck." she muttered as she began to brush her teeth.

"i'll be manifesting for you," i joke, walking to the bathroom to prepare my toiletries. "You're going to win the grammy." i reassure her.

i could hear her take a deep breath and sigh. "Yeah, hopefully. i think i should go to bed, big day tomorrow." she cheesed.

"Alright," i say dramatically. "If you have to."

she made a kiss noise, "i love ya."

"i love you too. Text me when you're up." i kissed her back before she hung up.

i checked the time on my phone, silently thanking billie for hanging up at the perfect time. i zipped up my suitcase and threw on my slides before walking out of the house. i double-checked to make sure the door was walked before i drove off towards the airport.

the cool winter breeze caught me off guard as i stepped out of my warm car. i dreaded all of the airport security traffic. it took me forever to get through everything, but i had finally made it on the flight that would take me to surprise billie.

i found out 3 hours before she called me that the meeting was canceled, and i decided i was going to surprise her. i booked the fastest flight and sound one that was perfect. i was surprised it was still available.

i sat peacefully on the plane, drinking Sprite and eating the iconic honey roasted peanuts. of course, i spent the whole time worrying over billies' reactions. would she be mad that i lied to her? i pondered back and forth, defending each argument for yes and no over in my mind.

the loud, robotic sounding woman over the speakers awoke me from my sleep. i rushed to get off the plane as i only had 2 hours to make it in time to see billie. i went to the nearest airport restroom and changed into my stunning dress that i had been saving for a really special occasion. it was a long, ruby red silk slip dress. it had a slit in the right legs and was long enough to trail behind me. i had straightened my hair before i left, and it had managed to stay intact. i did quick but elegant makeup and called my Uber.

the wait for the Uber was spent getting cat called by older men while waiting for billie to text me back.

me: How's your morning going, babe? i miss you

billie ❤️: it's going good, just doing hair and make up

billie ❤️: you?

billie ❤️: i miss you sm mama

me: just been thinking about you

billie: i gotta go get dressed, text you after ❤️

me: sounds goood

the Uber arrived and took me to my hotel room, which i had to rush to get ready since i was running late.

i basically threw on the dress that complimented hers, so i had enough time for makeup. luckly, i didn't like to do heavy makeup.

whenever i was finally done, billie texted me.

billie ❤️: god everything reminds me of how much i wish you could be here.

billie ❤️: theres an extra seat at the table for some reason

me: hm thats weird, dont worry, though i have the live video pulled up right now

i lied as i climbed into the Uber. i told the man my destination, and he began driving. butterflies were building up, and i couldn't wait to see her reaction.

i made it right in time, making it in time for the music related awards. i chatted with Lizzie Grant, one of my favorite music artists, as i waited for billie to leave the table so i could sneak in.

whenever they finally announced the first award for "what was i made for?" she got up and walked onto the stage.

i slid into my seat quietly, waving to finneas and claudia, who were in on the surprise.

i admired billie on stage. i was so proud of her. I couldn't contain it. a stupid smile spread on my face as i saw her bright smile on stage.

"Thank you so much. i really couldn't have done it without y/n and finneas. i love you too, and im so sorry you couldn't be here, baby." she blew a kiss to the camera, which i knew there'd be edits of later on.

she walked back, thanking all the people who congratulated her as she walked by.

she was only a few feet away whenever she made eye contact with me. her face lit up, and her smile grew. she ran towards me, pulling me out of my chair and capturing me in a tight hug. she peppered my face in kisses before finally meeting my lips. she held her lips on mine, and i didn't want her to pull away.

"You actually made it!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around my waist.

"How could i miss it?! my meeting got rescheduled, but i was planning on surprising you anyway. so everything worked out in the end." i explained.

"When did you get here?" she asked, her smile never fading.

"literally 2 and a half hours ago." i laughed, my arms snaking around her neck. "im so proud of you, bil."

"Thank you, mama." she pecked my lips once more, "i love you."

"i love you more." i smiled, "youre amazing. you deserve this so much."

billie went on to win another grammy. needless to say, we celebrated a lot that night.

tom kaulitz x fem!reader

you help tom wash his dreads because they are dirty and poor boy is too sick to do it himself 😭.

warnings : fluff, swearing, friends bullying eachother (as a joke!!)

you had been in lockdown at the twins house for about 2 days now.

2 days ago before their mother left to get groceries she warned that it would rain, and that you and the boys could not go outside in the rain because you could catch a cold.

but when she left the house, all hell broke loose.

bill peered his head out of the downstairs window, watching as his moms car pulled out of the driveway onto the rocky street, the sound of the car agaisnt the gravel getting fainter as it left their neighborhood

"y/n, tom!! grab the rainboots now!! mom left!!" bill shouted upstairs to you and tom, who were in his room watching tv.

"hell yeah!!" tom shouted as he headed for the hall closet, throwing out 3 pairs of rainboots, one pair alot bigger than the others.

"here, y/n, you can wear our moms!" tom handed you the large boots,

"are you sure?" you said, studying the rain boots.

"yes im sure. now get them on so we can go outside!!" tom shouted, looking over to bill who was standing by the door with his rainboots already on.

"HURRY UP YOU TWO!!" shouted bill as he motioned for you to hurry up.

you quickly put on the boots and stumbled over your feet because of the too-large shoe size.

bill caught you by your shoulders before you fell, he looked up at you and smiled before patting you on the back and urging you and tom out of the door.

the three of you danced and laughed, jumping in the small puddle in the road, all while the rain absolutely soaked your clothes.

"guys come and watch me sing!" you heard bill shout.

you looked over to tom who was already walking towards bill

"okay you two sit there" bill pointed to a spot in the wet, muddy grass.

"bill, really? you get to dance on the pavement and we get put in the muddy grass?!" tom argued.

"yeah? what about it?!" bill shot back rolling his eyes in annoyance.

you were about to break them up when you saw a very familiar car pull into the twins driveway.

"GUYS!!" you shouted pointing at their moms car

they stopped and looked at the car, then their gazes shifted to you and you nodded.

"RUN!!" tom yelled.

you guys all ran to the front porch, all stumbling as you took your shoes off before pushing eachother through the front door.

the twins mom ran inside with the groceries behind you three, and apparently bill was lacking behind because she grabbed his shirt before he could run away with you and tom.

you looked at him with pity before his mom sat him on the couch

"shit." you whispered under your breath. you and tom stopped to look at mrs. kaulitz.

"dont think you two are getting out of this!! tom, y/n, sit!!"

you and tom shamefully walked over to the couch where mrs. kaulitz gave you three a lecture about going out in the rain.

when the lecture that felt like hours finally ended, she checked all of your temperatures.

bill had a fever of 99.9,

you had a fever of 100.2

and tom had a fever of 102.3

"what am i gonna do with you three..?" mrs. kaukitz mumbled under her breath

you looked at tom who was mouthing her words with a crinkled nose. bill slapped him on the knee and told him to stop which made you let out a small giggle.

"okay, y/n. im gonna call your mom and let her know that you'll be staying here until you get better, okay?"

"okay, thankyou." you said with a smile.

you and bill were sat cuddled up on the couch watching tv while tom was in his room sleeping.

"hey.. bill?" you whispered.

no response.

he was definitely sleeping.

and soon you were too.

and now you are here, peering into toms room with a small bottle of medicine, you and bill were feeling much better than the day you had gotten sick, but tom on the other hand? not so much.

"hey, tom..? are you awake?" you whispered into his room.

tom pulled the covers off of himself "yeah." he muttered groggily.

"oh, well, your mom wanted my to give you this." you said softly, walking over to his bed.

he turned over to face you and sat up, you sat next to him cross legged and handed him the medicine, which he quickly swallowed down with some water.

he layed back but this time not putting the blanket over himself, instead he curled up next to you and sighed

you felt bad. tom never acted this, so you couldnt imagine how sick he was feeling. you brought you hand to his forhead and brushed the stray hairs off of it. "tom, your dreads are a little, uh."

"dirty? yeah i know. my mom keeps telling me to wash them but i dont wanna get out of bed." he nudged his head closer to you and you laughed.

"tom lets wash your dreads!! i can smell them from heree." you said dramatically plugging your nose and scooting off the bed.

tom replied with a long groan and with that you grabbed his hand and yanked him out his bed.

"jesus- what the f-" he paused and gave you a dead stare which you couldnt see because you were already walking cheerfully to the bathroom.

you set up a chair against the sink so that tom would have somewhere to sit while you did the dirty work.

"tom get off the floor now your chair ready."

"help me up-" he whined, but was cut off when you once again yanked him out of his spot.

"if my arm doesnt fall off by the next time you do that ill be suprised." he said as he sat wiped off the chair before sitting in it.

"me too. now lean your head back so we can wash your hair. the smell is unbearable." you made a gagging sound and tom rolled his eyes before closing them and leaning his head into the sink.

"dont get soap in my eyes this time. please?" tom opened his eyes for a moment to look at what you were doing.

"no promises."

you opened the bottle of shampoo with a 'pop' and put some in your hands running it through toms dreads, and he sighed at you massaged his scalp.

you turned on the tap and moved toms head farther into the sink so his hair would reach the water.

"tell me if its to ho-"

"OW BITCH IT FUCKING BURNS!!" tom shouted, lifting his head up from the sink and spraying hot water everywhere.

"oops." you laughed.

tom gave you a playful look and you returned one with your tongue stuck out.

"okay lean ur head back again i wont burn you this time!! promise!!"

"fine, fine!"

you finished washing out the shampoo and moved onto conditioner, again putting it in your hands and then in toms hair, avoiding the scalp.

the gentle rhythm of your hands moved through his locks, untangling any knots and soothing his whole body.

tom leaned into your touch, but he flinched when the water turned on in fear of being burned again.

"tom, relax!! this is supposed to be relaxing not traumatizing."

"maybe i am traumatized from you burning me." he laughed and adjusted his position in the seat.

after washing the last of the conditioner out of his hair you grabbed him a towel so he could wrap his hair, you truly didnt understand why he did it, but it was always funny when he did wrap his hair, so you never stopped him.

you threw the towel onto his head and grabbed his hand, navigating him back to his room.

he took the towel off of his head and glared at you which made you laugh.

he sat on the floor in-front of his mirror and skillfully tied the towel around his dreads.

"tom," you laughed. "you look funny with that towel."

"you always look funny." he sighed as he got up, smiling to himself at his 'genius' insult.

"no tom, seriously why do you use that towel?? you look like an egg!"

" one, it makes my hair look better, two, you are an egg." he sat next to you and layed his towel wrapped head on your shoulder.

minutes passed, and you couldve sworn tom was about to fall asleep when you heard someone tip-toeing down the hallway, and seconds later, toms door creaked open, making tom lift his head up and open his eyes.

bill peaked through the crack in the door before shouting "AHH!! EGG TOM!!" and running dramatically down the hallway, which made you and tom look at each other and burst out into laughter.

Ellie Williams fucking hated you.

Surprisingly, she didn’t at first. In fact, she was in love with you, bordering infatuation.

She had seen you for the first time at the local bookstore before the semester started, you were flipping through a book about time and relativity with a concentrated look on your face. She smiled to herself when she saw you push up onto your toes to reach for another book but to no avail. She took this as an opportunity to walk up to you and reach over your head to grab it, making sure to flex her lean, tattooed arm before placing it in your hand.

Her jade eyes locked on yours and your face heated immediately, you mumbled a “Thank you.” Before scurrying past her to the checkout.

Imagine her surprise when on the first day of classes, she walks into her astrophysics course and sees you, doodling in your notebook with that same concentrated look on your face.

Of course, she sits next to you, flashing that charming smile that has sweat gathering at your hands. She tells you her name then asks for yours and learns about your major, favourite course, and how you’re staying in a little apartment just outside the campus before more students and your professor filed in. You didn’t know why but you just felt so comfortable telling her things, She laughed at your corny jokes and made even cornier ones, and she admired the doodles that covered your notebook and the little duck pen you used.

You didn’t want to speak too soon, but it was safe to say you were harbouring a tiny bit of a crush on her.

Ellie on the other hand, was completely ready to admit it. She felt her love for you grow each second she was around you. Your smile quite literally felt like the sun shining upon her, your laugh made her want to drop her studies of space to pick up stand-up comedy just so she could make it her job to make you laugh. In her eyes, everything you did was perfect. Her thoughts were completely consumed by you, you, you.

And for a few months, things were amazing! You had been introduced to Dina and Jesse and even spent Halloween hanging out with the trio watching horror movies and eating each other's weight in candy. When the holidays rolled around you and Ellie, along with the others, cozied up under some blankets and made fun of cheesy Hallmark movies while she tried her hardest not to interlock her hands with yours even after your pinky brushed against hers for the sixth time.

During finals, Ellie and you organized designated study days that usually ended in giggling at stupid memes on each other's phones or late-night food runs. Of course, there were lingering touches and flirtatious glances here and there but you were too shy to act on it and Ellie would rather die than make you uncomfortable so she kept you just at arm's length. Besides, she knew you were too timid to approach anyone else, so in a way she had you all to herself.

Then, you met him. Some motherfucker whose name she didn’t care to remember. However, she did remember the innate feeling of anger that surged through her body when you gushed to her about him and how he was a history major and the way his glasses framed his face perfectly and whatever the fuck else you found interesting about him.

She nodded and laughed and smiled along with you when you would drone on about him but would excuse herself to the bathroom to tend to the crescent-shaped wounds in her palms from digging her fingers into them so hard.

She tried her best to not show these negative emotions to you because she knew how much you didn’t like when she got mad but fuck was it hard. Especially that one night when you were out with him and you hadn’t replied to her texts in over 5 hours. Man did her drywall take some damage that night.

And when you finally did reply you had completely disregarded her message and went on to boast about the time you had and how gentlemanly he was. All she could do was reply with a dry “sounds like fun🙂” before she went back to throwing a tantrum around her room and tormenting that poor wall…she’d have to remember to buy some spackle before the end of the semester.

Then, there was the time she trekked over to your apartment with some pizza for a surprise movie night and saw the bouquet placed in front of your door. She set the box down to pick up the flowers and read who it was from, her body reacted before she could rethink. She tore the flowers from the beautifully wrapped packaging and stomped on them over and over and over until all that was left were broken stems and tattered petals.

Thankfully, you got home just a few minutes later and missed her outburst. You gasped when you saw the smashed flowers and asked her what had happened, she shrugged and lied easily, claiming it was like this when she got there. She let out a breath when you shook your head and sighed, saying it was probably your next-door neighbor who had always been a bit of a grouch.

She had genuinely thought she was doing a pretty good job of hiding her true feelings for both you and him but it was when you gleefully announced that he was officially your boyfriend she knew she was done for. You squealed and pulled her in for a hug but it felt like her heart had shriveled up into a clump of black coal and woosh like magic, her love for you had turned into something twisted, something possessive.

It was when you invited her over to your apartment to eat dinner with him that she had started considering the idea that you knew she had a crush on you and you were just fucking with her emotions for fun.

How could you start dating, let alone seeing some random ass motherfucker when she was right here! She knew she could treat you better than he could even dream of, she knew everything about you and she’d make it known to you how perfect she was for you, one way or another.

That night at dinner she sat uncomfortably as you fluttered around your tiny kitchen, adding last-minute touches to the spaghetti you made and despite the grumble in her tummy it felt like she had no appetite when she watched the hungry way he looked at you, as if you were a juicy steak and he was a starved wolf.

Once you were finished plating the food and placing it on the table you sat down eagerly and tried your best to mediate the obvious tension.

“Soo uh, Ellie, you’ve been really into watercolour recently right?” You beamed.

“Uh-huh.” She said dryly, twirling her spaghetti around her fork.

It’s funny to think that like—Cleopatra was painting with water and grapes or something!” He spoke and you giggled like it was the funniest joke in the world. She shot you a look that said really? because she knows she could make a joke that was way funnier, and would expel your real laugh.

“That’s cool. You know how to shut the fuck up?” She mumbled into her bite of spaghetti.

“Sorry?” He asked and you gave her a sideways glance.

She smiled tightly and swallowed before answering, “Just said that’s cool!”

Dinner dragged on as he droned about the history of the Renaissance or fucking Christopher Columbus, she didn’t actually know, she tuned him out. After you cleared the plates, you ushered them into your cozy living room for a movie and when you excused yourself to the bathroom she plopped down on the couch next to him, subtly pulling out her switchblade.

“So, Kevin—“

“Actually my name—“

“I don’t give a fuck what your name is, matter fact I don’t give a fuck about you in general. What are your intentions with ★?”

The man tensed up as Ellie expertly spun the blade around in her fingers.

“Uh—I mean, she seems cool and dating her has been pr—“

“Cool?” Ellie scoffed, “She’s fucking perfect, and I hope you know whatever you have going on with her right now? It won’t last. Soon she’s gonna see you for the limp-ass motherfucker you are.”

He was taken aback, “What?—I’m sorry, did I do something to offend you?”

“Your whole existence offends me.” She rasped, inching her blade closer to his neck. “She’s not meant to be with you.”

He furrowed his brows, “You like her, don’t you?”

Ellie rolled her eyes, “You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.”

Before he could reply you were back from the bathroom and she slipped her blade back into her pocket and got up with a firm grip on his shoulder.

“What were you two talking about?” You asked as you grabbed a bag of chips from your small coffee table and tore into them.

“Oh you know, girl talk.” She smiled, digging her blunt nails into his shoulder. Translation: don’t say a fucking word.

You rolled your eyes playfully like you even had a clue of what was going on, “He’s not a girl, dumbass.”

She shrugged, stepping away from her previous seat to plop down on the other small sofa.

The rest of the night proceeded relatively smoothly, your boyfriend had been so shaken up by Ellie’s words that even with you sitting next to him he kept his distance with worried glances toward Ellie now and then. Ellie crunched on her popcorn happily and watched the movie with a satisfied smile and a chipper aura.

anath is a student/apprentice of rarity, who initially they didnt get along for various reasons (do you notice i made them look as antithetical and unappealing to rarity as possibly) but now they see each other as family and rarity is a huge mother figure for her. rarity saw a lot of spike in anath and that was one of the reasons she started growing so close to her

zap apple wants to be the first earth pony to be in the wonderbolts. his older sister, aurora apple, desperately wants to get away from the family and just do her own thing

it took twilight and pinkie a long time to get together so thats why jellybean is the youngest lol. the poly relationship is twilight x pinkie and pinkie x cheese but not twilight x cheese

klaus is just some guy that pandora thinks is neat

pandora and anath cant stand each other

skyla is kind of in the group by proxy and because shes cousins w jellybean etc etc but she 1. lives in the crystal kingdom 2. kind of feels excluded sometimes because shes kind of just there cus their parents are all friends

on the other hand, lil' cheese and flurry heart are huge friends, despite the fact that flurry heart is prolly like 5 years or so older than him.

you couldn’t stop thinking about what ellie had said. why would she say that? she was really making this all so difficult.

you barely talked to your mom the next few days, making small talk at the dinner table and saying goodnight. you talked to joel more than her. more time spent in ellie’s room than your own, getting to know each other all over.

your mom stopped you before you left saturday afternoon. “where are you going?” you sighed, hand on the door to leave.

“a friends.” you pulled open the door.

“ellie’s?” she whispered. “you know what they say about her sweetheart…” you groaned and dropped the handle as you turned to look at her.

“no. tell me, what do they say?”

she sighed. “you know… that she’s a… a lesbian.” she whispered the last part like it was a dirty word.

“and? so what if she is?” you laughed. “scared she’s gonna infect me?” you walked out before she had a chance to say yes. that she was.

“what’s up with you,” ellie poked as she searched through one of her boxes. “you’ve been real quiet.”

when you sighed, she stood up and came over to sit beside you. “were you serious about your apartment?” you looked over at her with your head in one hand. “about me being your roommate?”

she nodded, “yea, of course. wouldn’t have offered if i wasnt.” she smiled softly. “what made you change your mind though? you seemed pretty against it before.”

“my mom.” ellie looked to you with a look asking for more. “she’s just… she hates that we hang out.”

ellie laughed, nodding. “yea, i did prank call her a lot as a kid.” but her smile dropped when you shook your head. “then what?”

“she hates that we hang out, because you’re gay ellie.”

“oh.” you felt the awkwardness seep into her room. “well… her loss i guess.”

you sighed and dropped your head into your hands. “sorry, im sorry.” you rubbed your eyes, “i’m gonna go.”

ellie stopped you as you stood up to leave, her hand grabbing yours to pull you back down. “stop, it’s not your fault.” she poked at you until you turned to look at her. “im fully aware not everyone’s gonna like me babe, for a myriad of reasons. this isn’t on you, okay?” she hummed at you when you didn’t respond. “okay?”

“yea okay.” she smiled, pulling a smile out of you too. “im serious about the apartment though. i’ll get another job if i have too, i wanna move in.”

she nodded and leaned back against the wall. “alright, yea we’ll get you on the lease then.”

your mom was waiting in the living room when you got home that night. “honey, we need to talk.” you groaned quietly, joining her on the couch. “i don’t want you hanging out with that ellie anymore. she’s not a good influence for you.”

“whatever.” you got up to head to your bedroom but she kept talking.

“if you are under my roof, you will follow my rules. you understand?” her voice is hollow as she speaks.

you laughed, “good thing i won’t be here much longer.”

“and what’s that supposed to mean?” she stands with her hands on her hips, a smirk on her face.

“im moving out.”

summary: you find out miles is cheating on you, and with a heavy heart, decide to leave him, but he's not letting you go.

"Thanks for coming, have a nice day!" The cahier said as you walked out of a bakery with a box full of cupcakes, along with some chocolates and other snacks you bought earlier. You were basically bouncing with joy, a massive grin present on your face.

Today was you and Miles' 2 year anniversary, and although there had been a couple of bumps on the way, you were happy that both of you were still together. You looked at your phone to check the time and saw that Miles texted you back.

Mi amor <3

You: happy anniversary!

You: i have a surprise for you but its not ready yet

You: I'll text you when its done then you can come over <3

Mi amor <3: aight see you soon princessa

Giggling, you walked over to Miles' apartment building and walked through the hallway towards his room, already searching through your pocket for the extra key he gave you in your bag. As soon as you found it, you opened the door as quiet as you possible could, which was hard as hell with all the stuff you were holding.

You pushed the door open with your feet and walked slowly, and it seemed like Miles didn't hear, you, because you heard no footsteps coming for you. Putting your stuff down on a couch, you walked around trying to find him.

As you neared his room, you started to hear noises that sounded like Miles and something else, you couldn't really tell. You still wanted to surprise him through, so you slowly pulled open the door.

"Miles please..." A girl who had never seen before was on YOUR man's lap, pressing kisses on his face and slightly grinding against him. "Calm down, cariño, I'll take good care of you soon," he said as he held that girl's hips and grinded her hips down with a groan.

You didn't even realize you were crying until you brought your hands over your mouth. You slowly walked backwards and slammed his door, knowing he would be able to tell he got caught, grabbing all your stuff, leaving his extra key that he gave you on a table and running.

Your legs carried you all the way home, though it was a far distance. You couldn't even feel the burn with how sad you were. As soon as you got to your house, you locked all the windows and doors, knowing Miles would try and get in. You just wanted to lay in bed and cry, but you knew you had one more thing to do.

You: dont fucking text me anymore, be happy with that girl.

You: by the way, happy anniversary :)

Scrolling on your phone, feeling sorry for yourself, and eating the snacks meant for you and your now ex was not how you thought your night would go, but the occasional funny video made up for it. You changed out of your nice outfit and wore your most comfortable pajamas (apart from Miles' shirts), stuffing chips into your mouth when you heard banging on your window. Your mom was home and asleep, but she wasn't that heavy of a sleeper, so you went to your window and pulled back the curtains.

"Ugh," you groaned as you saw who was standing behind the glass-pane. "I'm gonna keep knocking if you don't let me in." His voice was muffled, but you understood enough to unlock and open the window for him.

"Hey look-" He started, but you were NOT listening to his BS. "No Miles, you look. I have dealt with you for the past TWO years. Every time you have stared, flirted, or even made out with another girl, I have ignored it and forgiven you. I have NEVER cheated on you, I have even ignored all my male friends for you because you get so jealous. I'm tired Miles, and I can't with you. Please leave."

"Cariño-" Miles pleaded with you. "Don't call me that. That's what you called that girl you were smooching earlier. Go back to her and never talk to me again." You started pushing him towards the window, desperate for him to leave before you either started crying or beating the crap out of him.

"No, we aren't doing this shit." He pushed you backward until your back was against the bedroom door. "Miles, don't-" Your insults dissolved into air as he started to kiss you, the way he did at the beginning of your relationship, when you thought he still loved you. "I ain't leaving you, and there is no way your leaving me, ¿entiendo?"

You wanted to say no, but your heart still longed for him desperately, so you melted into his touch. He noticed your response and pulled back to pull you into a passionate kiss.

It didn't matter what you did, you were trapped, and Miles certainy wasn't letting go.
