This is mostly things I despise!! All found at thrifts in the Boise, ID area over the last several weeks.

The ripped jeans looking pants were actually leggings made in the worst stretchy cheap material I've felt in my life. Sequin pants also were not fun to touch!

I'm sure the skinfold thickness device has a medical purpose, but encountering one in the wild was a weird jumpscare.

The last three pics are of the same cassette. The case is so melted that it can't be opened.

Mu Qing ascending is objectively so funny considering Feng Xin and Xie Lian also do. Out of the people in your kingdom who accomplished immortality there’s this guy who used to be your servant but is now on equal rank to you and he‘s super rude now and also thinks you hate him because he remembers when you were 18 and lacked socioeconomic-interpersonal awareness

I got a fashion sketchbook (affiliate link), which is basically a sketchbook that has very, very pale lines in the shape of an exaggerated human figure that a person can then draw clothes onto without worrying about having to draw a person first.

I do wish there was some more body diversity in this, but it's got so many pages that I'looking forward to messing around with designs anyway, even if I have no idea what I'm doing and am only sort of decent at it.

Obvious first sketch was. uh. Steampunky.

(You can see those faint figural lines in a few places, most notably the bikini area.)

Some Ace outfits. She has such a big tail its difficult to pack it in without it taking up most of the canvas. He usually leans towards masc/androgynous clothes but sometimes if he feels like it he'll wear a dress, usually if its really warm.

Unusual pattern choice for this modern high end obi, inspired by the famous Zo to Kujira-zu byôbu (Elephant and Whale folding screens) painted by mid-Edo animal lover artist Ito Jakuchu.

Those folding screens were rediscovered in 2008. There is apparently no hidden allegory behind the whale/elephant pairing beside the fact that artist once saw an elephant and a whale and (rightly) went "well they're neat".

Those screens were ordered to be displayed during Gion matsuri, and whimsical patterns were often favored for this occasion.
