I think I accidentally made an Aleduncan AU where Alejandro is a witch and Duncan is an outlaw
#so basically#Alejandro saves duncan from being put to death#alejandro lets duncan stay with him for a couple months while he heals his wounds#they kinda get FEELINGS for each other during that time period because neither of them see many people around and they're both lonely#alejandro tells duncan about his plan to create a divine being#they part ways after a while#duncan returns a few months later to find alejandro being burnt at the stake (bc he's a witch yk)#so he runs to alejandro's woodland cottage and finds a letter left for him#in the note alejandro leaves a set of instructions/explanations and a map#because he hid a giant statue in the forest along with some of his body parts using magic#so duncan sets off to find the statue and the body parts#(he's pretty determined because there was a note on the letter that read “If you couldn't save me then at least save my offspring”)#he feels like he owes alejandro for saving him#he brought the note with him incase it had clues#when he got to the life-size statue of alejandro in all his glory#he broke open the hollow torso to find a small manticore#which alejandro made using magic combined with his own flesh and blood#duncan also finds ANOTHER note that explains how he needs to find each of the organs alejandro hid around the vast forest#and feed them to the baby manticore#to increase it's powers#this could be such a banger AU if I actually put effort in#this keeps sounding dumber as I write about it#I just wanted to draw alejandro as a pretty witch#I love aleduncan because I can make bullshit like this about it#I came up with this while listening to “Bernadette” by IAMX#I just wanted to toss this dumb little idea out there#td alejandro#td duncan#aleduncan#total drama

Hozier really said to future generations, it’s not your fault. You can’t “work hard” and get what you need and want. It’s not your fault that the dreams of fifty years are now unrealistic and unattainable without breaking your soul and maybe not even getting it. Maybe I’m just too attached to comic, but i don’t buy Bruce’s speech at the end of the UtRH movie.
The whole speech about not being able to come back from it if he killed joker, he’s too calm and controlled, it sounds rehearsed to me. I could picture him saying that weeks early but not in that moment.
I vastly prefer the overwhelming emotion shutting down any sensible debate like it goes in the comic: The face of his dead son is in front of him demanding he break his vows and kill his worst enemy. Throwing all his Worst trauma in his face, After weeks of Bruce losing control of the very city those vows are meant to protect, after being forced into a vicious fight with said dead son. This isn’t the time for Making a Case for Restraint, this is the time for freaking the fuck out and throwing a batarang without thinking it through. This is the time for Batman’s iron will to crack.

Children, reading the Bulbapedia page on Pokemon IVs trying to figure out how they work:
#pokemon#pkmn#outdesign posts things#.gif#hot take but I loved PLA's grit system and wholeheartedly believe it should be applied to the main games#I'm an adult and even I had to watch multiple videos to learn how to train EVs and IVs#'oh there are two completely different stats that affect your pokemon's power. both are hidden from the player.#you have a certain amount of points you can sink into two EV stats but we're not going to actually show you the numbers or anything#you have to use special berries to lower these stats and items to increase the ones you want. and you have to go to an NPC to fix IVs#and none of this is mentioned or explained in the game. lol anyway good luck'

is it alright for me to ask how you draw your characters' faces from the side view? i always liked how you drew them in a good mix of stylistic and realistic way
here's some quick notes i threw together! disclaimer as always: i'm not a professional, these notes are just personal habits, and i make anatomical errors Extremely Often because 100% of what i draw is based on vibes. i think as you get more comfortable you'll figure out what "art/anatomy rules" you're OK with bending/breaking. that's style baby!!
bottom drawing is the top half duped and a little cleaned up and tweaked for fun. hope that helped (at least a little...!!)
