Another spot we finally got to visit on a trip to Denver was ADRIFT🗿 In contrast to Hell or High Water, ADRIFT is going for a more classic (but definitely elevated) Polynesian Pop dining experience in the vein of Trader Vic’s, and manages to do a lot with a fairly small location! The food we had was great, there was a good mix of classic tiki drinks & new school cocktails and they even served the drinks in tiki mugs, which is always a plus to me.
This spot has a two-hour visit limit & I would love to visit again, just sit at the bar & try a couple more of their cocktails! 🍹🍹🍹

Watch as we blend together fresh pineapple chunks, spicy ginger, and creamy vanilla ice cream to create a sweet and spicy treat that's perfect for any occasion. With just the right amount of sweetness and spice, this shake is sure to become your new favorite. So join us as we whip up this tropical delight and get ready to experience a taste sensation like no other!
Here's a recipe for a refreshing Pineapple Ginger Ice Cream Shake:
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1-2 teaspoons honey (optional)
Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
Add the pineapple chunks, vanilla ice cream, milk, grated ginger, and honey (if using) to a blender.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
If the shake is too thick, add more milk until you reach your desired consistency.
If you want a colder shake, add a handful of ice cubes and blend again.
Pour the shake into a glass and serve immediately.
Optional: Garnish with a pineapple slice or sprinkle some chopped ginger on top for extra flavor.
Enjoy your Pineapple Ginger Ice Cream Shake!

What’s uuuuuuuuuuuppp, honey buns? ⭐ 💖 💖 💖 ⭐ It’s new, it’s fresh, it smells like sunscreen!
NGL, for real, this one’s coming to ya because I was playin’ My Time at Portia (highly recommend BTW, it’s like if Stardew Valley and one of the 3D Legend of Zelda games had a baby), listening to the excellent soundtrack flow. And the first time that summertime jam, Lazy Days, came on, I was like, “Hmm, this sounds like some goof in a summery or tropical setting tryna be a li’l smoove with someone who is perhaps a tad reluctant OH! I KNOW EXACTLY TWO IDIOTS WHO...” 😂 😂 😂
All dialogue, no descriptions, because that’s just how it came to me, and I think it’s funnier that way. 😘

Dr. Pepper Creamy Coconut would be a solid flavor if not for the popcorn-esque aftertaste. I love the taste of coconut (anyone remember the Coconut Limeade Sparkling ICE?), and assumed it'd work well with Dr. Pepper.
Perhaps it's for the best that it's a limited-time flavor.
