Been fiddling around with how I wanna end the next section / demo and how to set that up, landed on it being an island you have to reach for the boss fight to start, all I have so far for it is an intro sequence and some basic movements but this could be the start of something more exciting then what was in the last demo.
"GRIM: The Palace of Eyes" Enemy Entry: Maggot Knight
Maggot Knight, found in the College of Eldreag
The Maggot Knights are former champions of Eldreag before arcane magic dominated the technologies of the land. These dedicated protectors were guardians sworn to protect nobles and royalty, but after the College of Eldreag became the beacon of politics, the once regal knights were captured and molded into terrible, unrecognizable things. The College saw these knights as lowly barbarians, and thus they twisted their lower bodies into that which nearly resembles a fly’s larvae. Blinded due to the low light of Eldreag’s depths, their senses other than sight have been heightened, with their smell being their strongest sense. The Maggot Knights squirm and writhe through tight corridors, armor donned and swords still clutched in their palms as they hunt for still breathing remnants thrown down into the Abyss of Failures, consuming their malformed corpses of their kin.
STATS
HP: 250
Damage: 75 (To Reflect or to use Death Resist on lethal damage, takes 2 uses of either abilities rather than 1). If under 55 HP, increases damage to 100.
Range: 5 ft.
Speed: 30 ft. (4 Actions). If under 55 HP, increases movement to 60 ft. and actions to 6.
Size: Long (10 ft. / 2 tiles horizontally)
Tactics: Maggot Knights are completely blind with an incredible sense of hearing and smell. Can evade or can strike stealthily for first strike, but afterwards, an incredibly difficult fight lay ahead. Can also be distracted by rotten meat.
