don't be shy about your niche interests!! even if people don't fully get it, it makes you interesting!!
remember people's names!!
accept compliments, don't go "oh noo you're too kind I'm so ugly I look awful blah blah blah" when people say something nice to you.
signature pen. Don't question it. every cool girl has a signature pen.
always look out for others, make sure no one feels left out when you hang out with a group, check up on your friends, etc etc
listen closely and think before you speak, that way you won't stumble over your words and appear more collected and calm! :)
"please" and "thank you" ALWAYS.
you don't have to be perfect at something to have fun. I'm terrible at golf (a danger to myself and others) but people don't mind and think it is cute and fun... a win-win for me lmao
dressing up? normal to you. Don't save your cute outfits for "special" days; every day is special and you deserve to look gorgeous. <3

Hello!
Its the last day of the month and I didn’t want it to end without a post. I want to talk a bit about healthy boundaries. These invisible lines are like the picket fence around your emotional garden. They protect your well-being, nurture your self-respect, and allow you to bloom beautifully.
Setting and maintaining healthy boundaries is essential for our well-being and the quality of our relationships. Boundaries help us define what is acceptable and what is not, allowing us to protect ourselves while respecting others. As the month of May passes, I want us to leave behind not setting boundaries because you should and here’s why.
╰┈➤ Why Boundaries Matter
Boundaries are like the velvet ropes at a museum—they guide people on how to treat you. When you establish and maintain healthy boundaries with someone, you’re saying, “Hey, you, here’s how I want to be treated.” It’s not about building walls; it’s about creating safe spaces where you can thrive.

Before we get into the guide, I want to remind you of our rights as soft girls:

🎀𓂃࣪The right to prioritize our needs.
🎀𓂃࣪The right to seek emotional support and help.

🎀𓂃࣪The right to be treated with kindness and respect.

🎀𓂃࣪The right to protest unfair treatment or criticism.
🎀𓂃࣪The right to use our own judgment.
🎀𓂃࣪The right to disagree respectfully.
🎀𓂃࣪The right to love ourselves unconditionally.
In May, was there ever a period when you felt like these rights were being infringed upon? Well, in this guide, we’ll explore how girls (and anyone else!) can establish and maintain boundaries with kindness.
╰┈➤ Setting Boundaries with Grace
↳ Inform: Start by expressing your feelings. Say, “I feel ______ when _______.” For example, “I feel overwhelmed when you expect me to drop everything for you.”
↳ Request: Kindly ask for what you need. “I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t _________.”
↳ Instruct: Be direct but respectful. “Please do not _______ to me.”
↳ Warn: Set a clear boundary. “I will not tolerate _________.”
↳ Take a stand: Firmly insist, “I insist that you stop ______ right now.”
↳ Time out: Sometimes, you need space. “I’m taking a breather so we can communicate better.”
↳ Extended time out: When necessary, distance yourself until things improve. “I need space until you can _______.”

Focus on Communication:
When setting boundaries, lead with how you feel and what you need. Avoid focusing solely on someone’s hurtful behavior.
Use assertive communication to express your boundaries kindly and directly.
Self-Kindness:
Remember that setting boundaries is an act of self-care. Be compassionate toward yourself as you establish and maintain boundaries.
