Dark fantasy Deltarune

1. About the Drawing's Message

I redesigned Kris from the game Deltarune in a dark fantasy style 🥀⚔ . The quote is taken from the game and was used by the priest; I believe it fits the grim context related to Undertale’s genocide route. I think there's a connection between these games, so I depicted it through intertwined roots and images of the main characters on stained glass as part of a prophecy:

"An ‘angel’ who has seen the surface will return and the underground will go empty."

In Undertale, this prophecy has two interpretations: the first pertains to the pacifist route, where the underground will empty when the monsters are freed by the angel and reach the surface; the second suggests the underground will empty when the angel (the player) destroys everyone. I decided to use the second, more eerie interpretation because I enjoy portraying dark themes, and I want to use it in my future works. It also suits the vibe for a dark fantasy adaptation.

2. Upcoming Project and Why I Disappeared

I’m still alive :D I haven't posted any work for a while because I took on a large project and haven’t been able to complete it yet. It will be a series of about 12 full illustrations for an Undertale song; I want to create it as a music video. Thank you for staying with me and being active every day, it means a lot to me! 💞✨

3. Rebranding

I've reflected on the essence of my art and want to connect it with dark themes. I enjoy adding a dark undertone to fan art of my favorite franchises, Undertale and Deltarune. From now on, I will be known as catty cupid 💘 (not a cat cupid, but a sinister one). I chose this nickname deliberately because cupid usually conveys the bright concept of love, but in contrast with the dark theme, I decided to distort this concept and share eerie drawings. I also want to create a mascot, update my design, and change my avatar; these changes will be coming soon!
