Heres some demon lore for the freaks AU! As you already know, Surge is a demon, but so is Kitsunami, they're born demons and siblings! Above I put their true forms, what they essentially look like whitout a vessel.

A vessel? That's right. The demons need Mundane vessels to roam around the surface, otherwise they would be vulnerable. They need that shell to stay protected, and when said shell breaks and they're back to Hell, they must find a new one if they wish to come back to Earth.

Those creatures from Hell eat Mundane souls, it's their food and power source, but they also eat one another as it also strenghtens them.

Demon souls are hollow, they're like empty inside, having them crave for complete souls seeking for fullfillment.

Surge/Kit's contract is done with Amy, they're soul bounded, meaning theyre feeding off her soul. This keeps them alive, although weakened. And slowly decreases Amy's life spam, although she's not currently aware of it.

Demons are pretty rare in general as not many people dare to summon them, but when they do, the requirements vary from what contract will be done. The master must attend to the demon's wishes in order to use them. In case the requirements aren't met, the summoning can backfire on the master, potentially killing them.

The souls are all different in some way. A Mundane's soul is clear, a Supernatural's soul is 'tainted' and a demon's soul is dark and glowy, "empty". Those who possess demon blood despite not being demons are called Downworlders, they're basically standing on the fence: neither Mundane/Supernatural nor Demon. They have an advantage regular demons don't have: they don't need vessels since their very own body is theirs, they can roam around freely. Although, they are not necessarily immortal, they can be killed.

I have been debating making Amy a Downworlder due to her connection with Hell. This would be sort of a corruption like in Steven Universe: fuse with corrupted gems, gets corrupted.

This would keep Amy from imminent death, and keep sustaining Surge and Kit. Basically, she would be a werewolf who is also a demon, pretty much a freak (get it? I will see myself out.)

I honestly thinks werebears deserve more love, cuddly and big killing machine with a soft spot for their so? Yeah sounds nice.

I've been playing a ton of Baldur's Gate 3 lately so I'm 100% thinking about Halsin when writing this.

He calls you his "Polyohonte" after the greek myth where a woman is cursed to fall in love with a bear.

He's huge, a mountain of a man even when he's not shifted into a bear. He has a tendency to come off as intimidating even when he isn't trying he's just so big.

He hibernates during the winter. He's too sleepy to get anything done, but the basic necessities to stay alive, and you best believe he'll do his best to keep you in bed with him. What do you mean you need to get up and do stuff? It's literally December- stay in and cuddle with him.

He likes using you as a pillow. He's too big to lay on you, but he likes putting his head on your chest or stomach while he sleeps. Loves it when you lay on him too. It's just nice having you close, especially when he's sleeping.

He knows a lot of random herbal remedies for things like headaches or stomach pain. He's also a great cook, although he has no gauge for how much food a normal human eats so he always ends up making too much.

You know about the honey game? You blindfold a partner and then place a drop of honey somewhere on your body and they have to find it and lick it off. Yeah, he's a big fan of that game. Although- his sense of smell is good enough he can basically tell exactly where the honey is even blindfolded, but that's his little secret.

I don't think im the only one that headcanons laios wanting to become a werewolf after the séries end, as seen in the extras about them. I can totally see him being mad that lycanthropy is illegal and he can't do It then making legal in his country. The question here is what kind of werecreature would he be? We know he loves dogs, so It seems easy to guess, but based on what we know about the eligibility of certain werecreatures, and the difference in build between him and (lycon??) the elf, i belive he COULD become a weretiger and going wild with the Idea of being a weretiger

Perhaps if Kabru and Marcille would allow him to run wild. I don't know if he would be allowed to make it legal there tho, elves seem to have control over a lot of what has to do with ancient magic?

Although I guess that wouldn't be secret anymore after the demon thing is over with 🤔 very confused about how post canon world would work

I do think he might pick to be a Wolfman just because it fits more with his personality but I also think he could physically be a weretiger. Would he risk looking like Lycion tho.

Beast Fables - Myles Roddenberry, the Were-Saltwater Crocodile

The main POV character from the side of the land in my Beast Fables setting, much like how Kara is the main POV character from the side of the seas.

Context: Beast Fables is a worldbuilding project that centers around the world of Urvara, a world roughly analogous to ours... except that everyone on land is a form of Werebeast, people who can transform into anthropomorphic versions of animals, and the seas live Merfolk, who themselves resemble the various creatures of the sea.

Myles is the quintessential scholar and gentleman, a good natured lad who enjoys learning about the natural world and all that lives in it, as well as a strong fascination with history, culture and stories throughout the world.

He is also a were-saltwater crocodile who also REALLY enjoys a good fight, partially because his specific bleed-in (aka certain traits from his animal from "bleeds in" to his human one) is aggressiveness in a fight, and partially because he enjoys the thrill of it.
