i js wanna say how much i genuinely love this series 🥲💕 it was legitamately the catalyst that led me to fully wanting to be a part of the tf2 fandom!! aughhgghg it's js such an awe-inspiring fan series that js clutches mine and many other's hearts :D

textureless ver, original screencap, and some rambling abt how genius the differences between blu and red scout are imo below!!

i've seen another comment mention this but i think it's so neat how (technically) the same person can turn out so differently depending on who and how they were raised (which is like basic developmental psychology 101 and generally just common sense, but like WHATEVER ASGHDJHAS), and seeing those massive differences between blu and red scout's behaviours is so interesting!!!

like i LOVE how blu scout isn't nearly as caring as red scout, and the fact he smokes because he was influenced by blu spy since he mostly raised him is soooo cool. he's sm more like his dad, whereas red scout is a lot more like his ma, which makes sense cuz in the same fashion as blu scout, he was mostly raised by her.

i've always been a fan of this kind of stuff. also, i think its so funny that one of the same things that they both share r the trashy magazines they read 😭😭😭 AND I LAUGHED SO HARD WHEN I REALISED WHAT BLU SCOUT WAS READING BAHAHHA (i was gonna doodle it rn and post it here but i wanted to get this done insteaddd,, maybe another time hehe)

No, but I went on a huge rant about how Buck's admiration of Eddie clouds his judgement when it comes to him and the show illustrates that with the way Buck physically looks up at Eddie when he needs reassurance (Buck also mostly only ever looks up at love interests, so that's something in and on itself but he does have a scene looking up at Bobby so I don't know what it means really)

That's also intense with the way Buck likes to be higher, he sits on the counter, he chills on top of the truck, he sleeps in a loft.

So Buck coming out to Eddie is MONUMENTAL in this sense because they are on the same level. Buck needs reassurance from Eddie but he's not looking up to get it, he doesn't want guidance, he wants acceptance, so here they are on the same level.

They usually already are on the same level when talking about Eddie and the episode also illustrates that with the talk on the gym, but they are on the same level talking about Buck. I've been waiting for this moment. I needed this moment. They can't work unless they equalize and they are equalizing. This is everything to me.
