tv shows: Skins uk (lgbt+ mental health rep). Looking for Alaska (great manic depression/ bpd rep & amaze aesthetic). the OC (early 2000's classic). Hannibal (10/10 thriller)

comics: Jacksons Diary (paranormal 80s vibes. adorable lgbt rep). The Scott Pilgrim Saga (the anime is also 10/10). Always Raining Here (lgbt love story)

books: Solitaire (duh). Looking for Alaska (10/10 like the show). Six of Crows (lgbt + disability rep & fantasy victorian heist vibes). Normal People (Irish & depressing AF + a very good tv show adaptation).

YouTubers: Dan and Phil (both solo channels and gaming channel(lgbt + very funny + loads of content)) Emma Chamberlain (10/10 vibes, like facetiming a friend). Trin Lovell (amaze film commentary so funny and well thought out). Smidgezz (her sims4 vids r so funny lmao)

idk i think its sorta the nostalgia around Solitaire for me, I read it back in 2017 (i think..) in my school library when I was like 11, so its been a huge part of my teen years. and I think tori and I are very similar, we're both injf personality types, both eldest daughters, have very similar family lives and are huge pessimists,and our shared media addictions lmao and I think for a while I was in a very similar space mentally and socially to Tori, I had like two friends (one may or may not have been my little brother lol) and I was just sorta depressed but I didn't know what that even was or how to say it.. and Solitaire helped me put my finger on exactly what I was going through... yeah so its partially nostalgia and the fact that I see myself a lot in her, and now that I'm older than her in solitaire (wow I'm old) I find such comfort in her and I think alices writing of her is amazing
