Rose Tyler was so iconic…no job. no father. hopping planets wearing approximately 10 lbs of waterproof drugstore mascara. a man at home who knew full well she was getting her back blown out by debate team captain space alien David Tennant on the regular and would still hang out with her every time she deigned to grace him with her presence. She killed the Devil? what a great character

I’ve officially decided my favorite relationship trope is “at first I was perpetually bothered by your mere existence but somewhere along the way you became my best friend and oh yeah I’m also in love with you.” Nothing else matters.

Hi! I hope this helps!
1) I think Bell’s drink would be an Old Fashioned. It’s pretty strong and tough (like him, lol) and very classic. Clarke I think would like cider (probably apple or strawberry flavored) or white wine.
2) If Clarke wanted to get drunk quickly, a few shots of tequila would do the trick. She’s tiny, and if she’s already had a few drinks then a shot or two of tequila would likely send her over the edge (if she’s a casual drinker). If she hasn’t been eating much all day, she’d get drunk muuuuch quicker with far less alcohol required.
3) As a pretty causal drinker, I’d say 1-3 “normal” drinks (like coolers, ciders, highballs) would get me tipsy, depending on how much I’ve eaten that day, how tired I am, how slowly I sip the drinks, etc. 3-5 I’d be drunk. If shots are involved it’s 2-3 drinks and a shot to get into drunk territory. Hope this is helpful!! :)
Hello lovely Bellarke friends. I’m working on a fic in which there is a lot of drinking at weddings happening and uh….I’ve never had a sip of alcohol in my life. Anyone willing to help me out with a couple things? I am probably going to sound really dumb trying to explain, but here goes…
1. What would Clarke and Bellamy’s go-to drinks be? Like ordering a drink at an open bar wedding.
2. If Clarke wanted to get drunk quickly, what would she drink?
3. For someone who is a casual drinker how many drinks would it take to feel tipsy and how many to feel drunk?
I’m gonna tag a couple people and if you can help I’d really appreciate it! If not feel free to ignore me and look for the first chapter of this fic in a few days lol

wish this aged better but my point still stands.
i will forever die on the hill that s4 was the time for a bellarke romantic declaration.
the first 4 seasons were exceptional for bellarke & any of their storylines could have pushed them in that direction. but in s1, they were still learning to trust each other and develop from rivals to co-leaders, so it would have felt too rushed then. in season 2, clarke is freshly jaded from the loss of her first love, so it wouldn’t make sense for her to rush into a new relationship (especially not with the person who demanded his death…. which is why cl*xa makes no goddamn sense to me… but i digress). in s2 clarke goes from realizing how much bellamy means to her & not wanting to be without him (2x01 - 2x08) to pushing him away so she has nothing left to lose (2x09-2x16). both halves of the season serve to solidly their importance to one another, and so many of their scenes are blatantly romantic, but clarke is in too tumultuous a place to admit her feelings. s3 is aaalllll the angst, as it should be. the fallout of clarke leaving bellamy in 2x16 is SO well handled in the first 5 episodes of s3. bellamy is hurting but would still go to the ends of the earth for her. everyone around him is beginning to see the depths of his loyalty to clarke, and she turns her back on him again and again. they need this whole season to get back to each other, to work through their issues & rebuild that trust and dependency. by the end of the season, they are side by side. they’ve forgiven and mended and have opened themselves up to each other again. and this has happened right before they need to face the most daunting threat so far. it is LITERALLY the end of the world. by the end of s4, they’ve worked together all season, saved each other, been each other’s emotional rock in the face of impossible decisions. as things go wrong, as hope and time are dwindling, they turn on each other (4x11). but this time, they quickly realize that doing what they think is best as individuals isn’t as effective as when they are a team. they’re just better together, and they know this, and in the very next episode they reconcile. they don’t know if they’ll succeed or what the future holds for the human race. they risk losing everything and everyone they’ve ever known. all the sacrifices they’ve made in the name of survival may have been in vain. up against THIS, when they have NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE…. a confession of love doesn’t seem so scary. clarke is convinced she’s gonna die. the head & the heart talk in 4x13 was the PERFECT time for a love confession, from one of them or both. they didn’t even need to kiss here, just the words would be enough. maybe clarke says it and they get interrupted and bellamy never gets to say it back, and he carries that guilt for six years in space. or maybe bellamy confesses and clarke still can’t get over that fear of losing him but she makes up for it, telling bellamy she loves him every day on the radio, ready to tell him in person the moment he lands but before she can, she sees him with echo. either way, that would make the angst in s5 SO much more palpable, when both of them know they’ve missed their chance. they’ll be in totally different places; clarke would have been hanging on, expecting to be able to pick up where they left off. bellamy will have done everything he can to move on, and he won’t know how to handle these old feelings for clarke. they’ll do everything they can to keep the other at a distance so as not to confront the heartache. then in s6? when bellamy loses her AGAIN? when clarke has to come to terms that she might never see bellamy again?? oh boy, when he restarts her heart, THAT would be their first kiss. they would finally realize that their lives are too crazy, their time is too limited to screw around anymore. that it’s stupid to deny their feelings, that they only did that so it wouldn’t be as devastating if they lost each other. well, they lost each other - countless times - and it didn’t matter. they were devastated anyway. they would realize they were tired of wasting time, that there was no point in survival if they weren’t living. they would choose to live, choose to be happy, choose to be together. and then we’d have had couple bellarke for the entirety of the final season.
we were ROBBED. i rest my case.
