Others from the series: The Hierophant, The Lovers, The Devil, Strength, The World
A bit of symbolism under the cut, but I'm curious of other interpretations 👀✨
I matched The Star with Ruth based mostly on visuals and the reverse meaning (which among other things mentions feeling like everything is against you, which I thought fit her well).
Elements that represent hope, opportunities and shining bright from the original card are turned into foreshadowing of her death here.
Light - Her Moment, chance, ambitions and wants. The second she enters it, she's dead.
Collection of The Museum backgrounds from my Super Squad High trailer intro! :D
All based on game artworks by Tan Ganguly
The project just got funded on Kickstarter, with few more days left to back it up! :D So if teenage superheroes and board games are your thing, be sure to check their page! (and my animation on there! :DD)
inspired by boop day, reblog this post if its ok for people to send you random asks and interact on your posts with no judgement. i want to talk to people.
Remember that Rebels of the Outlaw Wastes fanmade trailer I made as my final school project???? Well, apparently people over at Nerdy Pup Games liked it enough to COMMISSION ME FOR AN ANIMATION FOR THEIR NEW PROJECT.
It's called Super Squad High, it's a boardgame about teenage superheroes and I DID THE TRAILER OPENING FOR IT!! :DD
Got a bit monochrome over here lately, how about some eyestrain to change things up? :P
Concept Art thingie, the goal is to create a ready-to-go Squad of characters for RotOW. I kinda just want to sketch lots of wacky outfits and then pretend there's a use for them :³

Card that's all about forming own opinions and being authentic to self? Where the Reversed meaning is about hard choices and dealing with consequences? Even if they weren't the main couple of the musical it would've fitted them well!
There are twists in this one - major one is replacing the angel that blesses the couple with Max - still alive, threatening in all of his bully glory.
I kept the "everyone looks at someone who's looking at someone else" circle - Max is threatening Peter, Peter is in love with Steph and Steph is prepared to go after Max for what he did to Peter.
They have more nervous/covered up body language than the original card, since they aren't communicating that clearly. Steph is more open, even if nervous, Peter is on the fence, but willing.
Gun between them, pointing at Peter? You'll never guess what's that referencing :P
