Wasn’t Ayato a snake tho? I mean in terms of face. I know a lot of people love seeing him as a cat but I have always thought he got more snakey features.

Serious question, are you guys joking when you make fun of what Yui did? Because I’m not even hardcore for Ayato but after reading that ending, I don’t see anything funny about it. This fandom likes to idealise what Yui does even if she doesn’t do these things out of trauma. I just don’t get why she gets a free pass for being a shallow bitch that objectifies Ayato and for paralysing him when he just tried to protect her but when Kanato turned her into a wax doll, everyone was against it. She killed innocent people just like the diaboys but when she does it, she’s a “queen”?! How does this work?!

Those actions are so insane that it's better to laugh at them than be traumatized, since it's only fiction after all. In the ending where she paralyzes Ayato and turns him into a pleasure doll, she is obviously portrayed negatively, so we are not supposed to believe that she did the right thing. Regarding the Kanato ending, I've seen a lot of fans love him for it, given that a large number of people prefer that type of content.

I know she shouldn't have started obsessing over Ayato just for his looks and pleasure, but she's not the brightest person and has something called hormones, lol. Even if it's not honorable, I like it more when she sometimes displays flaws like shallowness, selfishness and so on, instead of always acting unrealistically good. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Is it weird enough that I like Diabolik lovers only for Yui? I don't like any love interests and wouldn't dare to play their routes if I have the option to pursue Yui ONLY

May I know why everyone hates Seiji so bad? Like yeah, I know he sent Yui there but if I remember well, he didn’t know she would end up living with vampires. Besides that bad ending was ooc for him and I just think rejet added that to shock the audience.

Before LE, I couldn’t bring myself to dislike him that bad, given that I understood the reasons behind his actions and he gave Yui a pretty normal childhood too, yet what he did in LE is simply disgusting.

While it’s true that certain endings are for shock value, such as some HDB ones, I really disagree when it comes to Seiji behaving OOC. Throughout several LE routes, Yui does indeed mention that her father is acting weird and getting too touchy, therefore it makes sense why he wanted to marry her in that ending. It was something already foreshadowed.

Furthermore, I do not defend most of these actions because I know she was wrong, so please don’t accuse me of that.

Can't people just make their own badges other then spending that much money ? It won't be that hard besides it's fun .

However, I do see the appeal of official merch. I think it’s mostly about sentimental value and authenticity. For example, owning an exclusive and/or expensive item, will show your dedication towards that character, which is something very well regarded in the collector community. I also can’t deny that official merch is really high-quality, and I don’t think it can ever be replicated.

are the DL CD dramas and the fanservice games (LP, VC and CL) canon?

// Everything that happens outside of the main games (unless the supplementary content follows the routes) is not completely canon. The CD dramas are their own thing, often being more experimental and diversified than the game. A character may love you in one CD, but be mean in the next one, because nothing happens in the same timeline. LP and VC are only fanservice games, and they’re not related to the main ones in any way. CL is just an AU, which was supposed to be a series of CD dramas, yet got turned into a game and the routes were made so as to fix the mistakes made in LE (but it didn’t work).
