At this point it's just me trying to figure out how to make all of this a reality. I have the ideas. The characters. And the know how to make comics. And this is for MULTIPLE projects I have in my head. I'd say "maybe I should write it all instead" but it inevitably becomes "but I also wanna draw it............."

Had some downtime at an appointment so I was sketching in a random notebook how technology in the lost astronaut universe looks. Somewhere between wally wood ec comics science fiction and Jack Kirby. With a lot having that lived in "riveted/welded/cobbled together" look.

Weren’t you also working on an original superhero idea? I can’t remember what it was called but it peaked my interest.

I actually have TWO but the one i've shown before might have been this one.

The two projects I had in mind boiled down to "if Peter Parker: Foreign Exchange Student was "manga and classic American comics co existing " then daybreak (this one) would be pushed further into the "manga/anime" influence at least in tone and genres.

With the central story being "deku/peter hybrid if he was a 30 year old office grunt who's "All-Might" was the hero people didn't like and instead of one for all he received a power most..........not of this earth is all I can say" to battle grand evil all while balancing going from "lonely modern adult" to "manga long titled romance comedy story and oh now I have wacky larger than life friendships/roommates misadventures". NGL it's a lot of mha/opm/ mha vigilantes/ chainsaw man/ and a bunch of other stuff I've been consuming trying to make "the American version of you blended it and dropped a crap ton of jack Kirby "

The other hero project I have yet to show is in the opposite direction. Deep into the classic superhero comics of the time with a heavy smattering of science fiction, pulp, and horror from the time period.

A long time ago, folks asked me who's on my roster for Peter Parker: Foreign Exchange Student Avengers and here's my current line up. I found it unfinished in a sketchbook and just said "get it done"

I just wanted to pay tribute to the original comics while subbing in she hulk so there's another lady on the team and A FUN ONE at that. And cap not pictured here is on the team. i just made it a combination of their classic/iconic looks crossbred with some neat ideas from their animated counterparts with the main thing being "they gotta be fun to draw" and "get that looks like street clothes/tactical armor/mcu basketball texture look TF outta here this is a COMIC BOOK" no offense if you like that but i'd be bored to tears drawing that.

How would the MHA movies fit in your au?

Honestly my main issue with MHA is that there's like a cut off with how much i've seen/read/enjoyed and so since this is for fun i just work with what i like/seen (shrugs). to answer your question i know for a fact that the two films i'd like to work with in the future are heroes rising and two heroes. i haven't seen world mission.

what i did know was that my "two heroes" would have iron man as a major player and a souped up A.I.M. that had infiltrated I island. i also wanted to call the arc "TERROR OF A.I.M. ISLAND".

The crux of the story's theme being one of those "Peter's old life comes trying to coax back into it and away from UA in the form of Tony Stark and melissa shield acting as reminder of old memories with gwen. And tony thinking he's found a way to finally fix all of all-might's internal injuries while david wants to prolong all-mights hero career. and the two end up as rivals for someone who is a dear friend to them"

And i know i'll get flack for this A LOT but what the hell, half of the time i'm not so fond of MHA villains/groups out of well.....preference. but also if i can use a marvel antagonist/terrorist group i will. not all the time but i will. and i just found it funny that the small strike force that took over the island in the movie finding out that the much bigger resource heavy A.I.M. was there FIRST and become the bigger threat because they're a bunch of radical PH.D. having terrorists. Who smuggled THESE onto the island.

And honestly after being lukewarm on iron man for the longest time i finally found like.....the appeal and what i'd like to bring visually to the table. Because i was reading armor wars 2 a while back and i just loved how..........super robot/anime meets 80 comics while jrjr art wasn't so.......current erm quality.

and i keep thinking about for the last two weeks that genndy tartakovsky storyboarded the major fight in iron man 2 and how i'd love to bring that energy to the board. You know a more illustrated animated feel to a character i find kinda stiff.

And as usual i think: maybe you just wanna do iron man in general and mha is just the excuse y'know? good to just be honest with yourself.

Are you still working on your “The Lost Astronaut” series or are you done with it?

I've made the decision to go the Peter Parker: Foreign Exchange Student route going forward with all my original concepts.

"foregoing an ongoing series of traditional webcomics narrative and moving ahead with single art pieces and one off character driven/humorous/interesting vignettes comics that occasionally spin into longer stuff."

Because if I don't I realized I'll be so bogged down by over planning I'LL MAKE NOTHING.

I first found your page because I liked your Spider-Man x MHA comics but as I've followed you for the past two years, I find myself preferring your OC content more and more; I've especially grown fond of your monster designs and the mix of humor/horror you inject into both characters. If you ever plan on making a webcomic or something similar, I would read it in a heartbeat.

hello andro0s I've been mulling over this ask for awhile.

The short version is that I really really really really am grateful that you enjoy my original content as I'm at a crossroads of rebuilding my self esteem and confidence in myself and as an artist. And that whats really holding me back is my own self doubt. But also I want to try. It's why I bought a bunch of books for inspiration for these specific projects to see what I can conjure.

I still want to do Spidey x MHA because well......i still enjoy it. And rewatching the raimi films and rereading the lee/Ditko run right now is reminding me of how much I love spiderman.

Thank you for sticking with me all this time. I truly mean it.
