Luke Castellan x Reader

You were nervous, of course you were but that nervousness was overshined on by your excitement. How could you not be excited when you were gonna practice with Luke this afternoon.

The way he was so close to you, teaching you how to wield a sword while his breath fanned your neck. It drove the butterflies in your stomach nuts.

You never learnt anything with him, by the way. (You were too busy trying to not make a fool of yourself in front of him) This proved to be helpful because it just gave more opportunities for Luke to ask you to practice with him. He cared for you, more than you would like but he wanted you to be good with the sword. It was for self defence afterall! Nothing like he liked you back or something.

It was a classic case of a hopeless crush but the way he looked at you, urgh!

So you never lost your hope.

Afternoon was here and you quickly finished Lunch to go find Luke. It seemed like he was already there in the practice area, waiting for you.

"Hey, did you wait long? Im sorry...* You said sheepishly.

"Nah you're good. I was sharpening these swords anyways."

And so began your so called 'practice'. Today was different though, it felt oddly intimate.

He was behind you, teaching you how to properly swing with your sword.

"Just like...that...there you go! This is the movement."

You both practice for a while, then Luke stopped. He was still behind you, and you looked at him, looking for a reason why he suddenly stopped talking.

He made eye contact with you. His eyes were beautiful, chocolate brown, just perfect. He suddenly lowered his head and kissed your temple, then wrapped a hand around your waist pulling you close.

Your back was touching his chest and you were sure you were blushing like crazy.

"you're looking stunning today. I cant resist myself when you're wearing this outfit"

You were so confused. What the heck was happening? First he kissed your temple, then he compliments you. Before you could continue your train of thoughts of your racing mind he nuzzled his face in your neck.

He breathed, once, twice then he said it.

"I like you, a lot"

He was now looking at you, almost pleadingly. And you can't even remember how you had the confidence to do this but you pressed you lips on his. His grip on your waist tightened.

"me too"

He grinned and then a smirk.

"is our cabin empty right now?"

You nod

"yeah, yeah it is"
