hey have you ever thought about how inej describes kaz's hands as being for making things vanish? how one of his classic magic tricks is making things disappear? how she describes her trauma response/dissociation as vanishing? how she is the Wraith and it is her greatest skill to disappear?

how we can imply from this that she feels like a) kaz's touch will trigger her and make her vanish and b) he only values her for that skill?

but how, the one thing he does, every time, is see her? is not let her disappear? is ask her, multiple times, to stay? is tell her, "don't slip away from me?"

okay but hear me out. magical libraries. magical libraries where the fantasy section is full of enchantments, and you can float to get a book off the highest shelf. magical libraries where the romance section manufactures meet-cutes, and the wooden planks bend up to “accidentally” bump you into someone. magical libraries where the mystery books are IMPOSSIBLE to find because you have to solve clues to get to them. magical libraries with long grass up to your knees in the folklore section and perpetual scary music in the horror section. magical libraries magical libraries magical libraries.

You know, yesterday is the 30th anniversary of Backstreet Boys. While today's the 25th anniversary of another Mariah Carey banger. The romantic/sad ballad My All released on the radio. While NBC was causing a stink for cancelled Debris, the spiritual successor for The X-Files and the spiritual successor for Lost show Manifest (at least, Netflix rescue the show and ready for 2nd part of super-sized final season this summer) and released the goddamn tacky Jurassic World meets The Twilight Saga meets Land of the Lost meets Mase in Abyss mashup ripoff telenovela without the lovable characters, they have a balls when the network released the 2-part movie Merlin debuts on April 26th, 1998. After the mayhem hilarity cartoon-y of The Simpsons and King of the Hill on FOX, people in America have turned in to the now beloved NBC/Hallmark miniseries and felt amazed deeply within their bodies. Magic, villains, Frik the goblin, badass moments and pure (Thank God. No toxic romance Bella and Edward, Gavin and Eve and Massimo and Laura style detected) romance blooms between Merlin and Nimue. Pretty crazy 25th anniversary week of pure "no toxic crap" love power.
