I've seen a lot of people talk about whether real life is canon or not and i think yall are missing the potential real life being canon - but happening before 3rd life.

Just think about it. Grian brings all his friends into this immersive game that's quick and fun and then they get sucked into the game, forever trapped in a cycle of more brutal and longer death games.

Like it'd work so well without having to go to great lengths to make it canon and it would add a whole new layer off angst to explore.

Idk I just felt like drawing them (like always)(advised to turn up brightness at least a little if yours is very low)

Do you think in Last Life everytime Impulse went into Scott’s base via the entrance and saw the clock hanging on the wall he was reminded of Bdubs and the betrayal which is why he start coming in his own ways instead of through the entrance?

Do you think he brought it up to Scott one day or did he just never mention it and tried to ignore it and pretend like it wasn’t there and when Scott questioned about Impulses ways of breaking in Impulse would just deflect the question by giving a dumb answer or changing the subject?

Do you think they spoke about it in Limited Life, during one of Impulses many visits to the Mean Gills base? Mentioning how he gave a clock to Bdubs at the start of double life to ensure his safety and finally bringing up the clock in the Scottage base?

Or do you think he waited until Secret Life and they discussed it around the campfire as Gem sat nearby, listening quietly to them.

Or worst of all do you think he still hasn’t mentioned it, will never mention. Will never mention to Scott how despite those trips to his base bringing him so much joy and comfort it also dragged out awful memories and made him relive what Bdubs did to him.

Will never explain why the hugs he gave him the days he came in through the front door were so much tighter, why he held him that little while longer for extra comfort.

Scott was well and truly dead by the time the clock betrayal happened, so of course he doesn’t know about it. So was Cleo, and Pearl wasn’t around that season so nobody could tell him. He had no idea what that simple clock on the wall was doing to the man he loved.

does anyone else ever think about in Double Life how after the fighting had cut down every other member, moments before anyone was able to claim that win, Scott blew himself up, taking away Pearl's chance to get the final kill of her own and only win? You ever think about how in Secret Life, when it was narrowing down to the last few left, Pearl offered to let Scar kill her, how she was never going to be the winner again that time and she knew as much, but when it came down to the two of them she still gave him that final duel, she even fought back, and she let him kill her fair and square in a one-on-one battle?

'cus she knew what it feels like to have the satisfaction of “earning” your win ripped away from you, and she wanted Scar to get to have what was taken from her
