Instead of being secretly assigned to be a boogeyman, someone is secretly assigned to kill Jimmy. They succeed if Jimmy is eliminated from the Life Series while they have this role. If they succeed, they automatically win the series. Because everyone else doesn't want to lose, it is their job to keep Jimmy alive at costs.
Every player protecting Jimmy gets one guess as to who the "hitman" is for the entire season. If they guess correctly, they get to keep their guess, the person fails, and a new hitman is assigned. The hitman will stay the same episode to episode if they don't fail. This guess is administered via typing a command in chat.
Jimmy is not informed about any of these rules, he thinks it's a normal Life Series. No one can tell him about the rules, but the game does not end if he finds out.
Basically, you want to be CERTAIN your guess is correct, because there are only so many guesses, and they need to last the whole game. Why? Because if you are not Jimmy, or the person trying to kill him, there is NO WAY TO WIN. Because either Jimmy stays alive until the end or he dies, making the hitman the winner. Even though everyone is protecting Jimmy, no one WANTS to be protecting Jimmy. You want to be the hitman. You guess the hitman, so you have a chance of being the hitman.
Meanwhile, the hitman needs to balance trying to kill Jimmy while the whole server protects him and is trying to figure out who's trying to kill him.
...
The series starts. The hitman is assigned. Despite all efforts, Jimmy is on red by the third episode. Half the guesses have been used, but no one can figure out who the hitman is. People are joking that the hitman isn't even doing anything, they're just letting Jimmy be Jimmy.
Meanwhile Jimmy got a book in the first 5 minutes saying he had been randomly assigned to kill himself and he's pretty sure this will be the easiest Life Series he's ever played.
anyone else thinking about how pearl turning on gem in the secret life finale wasn’t an act of betrayal, but ironically a display of loyalty? how she told herself mounders for life, and so to her an unofficial, indulgent alliance with gem could not take precedence if she followed her principles. and so she betrays gem but it’s not betrayal, but loyalty twisted till it loops back around. does anyone think about that
hey mika do you know maybe why ppl draw skizz with scars everywhere. i was thinking abt it and could not figure it out at all
I'm actually a pretty new Skizz fan!! but I can say that it's probably 2 things
in his arms it really looks like scars, and I cannot imagine what else they are honestly. way too skin-toned to be hair and far too red to be weird shading.
the other thing would probably just be that he's CLUMSY he's clumsy beyond belief and he's constantly taking damage. i've been watching some imp & skizz channel content and man. man hardcore is not his friend
If I were to write a murder mystery AU for the Life Series- the classic "there's a serial killer on the loose, we need to find out who before more people die"- then I think that uncontested, the best person to be the serial killer would be Scott Smajor.
I mean, A) He's KNOWN for being loyal and trustworthy so it's the perfect fake out. If even one of his allies were dead everyone would automatically write him off as innocent all he'd have to say is "Well I never murder my allies."
And B), His strat in the Life Series, the thing that makes him successful is being very nice and polite but also good at murder. That's a classic serial killer pattern. They're super nice and well-mannered so people flat out ignore them being suspicious. This happens to Scott IN THE LIFE SERIES. He'll be standing in a group of mostly reds that is NOT his alliance as a yellow, and they'll be like "hm who should we kill next" and just forget he's there.
And as a bonus, C), You can write Joel accusing him of being the killer for personal reasons and everyone brushes it off, but no, Joel's right, it was Scott IDIOTS-
Anyway, if any of you wanna write a Life Series murder mystery make Scott the killer it's a good idea, Lolli_Popples approved.
