i have established that any gale commentary or opinion that starts with he's obsessed with his ex is immediately invalid. I don't care if you or they have good points later in the commentary about his character.
If you don't have enough patience or braincells to look past him mourning his loss to mystra is actually about him mourning his loss of magic (which he has been doing for his whole life. thats like hating on an artist missing their sponsor because their sponsor left them and took all their tools with them) then I'm not giving you the same courtesy.
The audacity to comment on his character just to bash for him is getting old.

I can’t stress this enough: Thirst over your favorite fictional characters, be annoying and horny about them. But please, learn to respect the actors behind it! Some of y’all are weird af and super disrespectful to real people.
I’ve seem some shit that makes me so angry when it comes to Astarion and Gale’s fans. These are married men who also have kids, and you can see they feel super uncomfortable about the way some fans act.
gale dekarios is such a slow burn romance. He is for me, is an epitome of slow burn romance.
He has such a mellow introduction compared to all the other companions after you pull him out.
He just looks like a guy compared to the others. He can literally fade into the background in act 1 (cept for the magic eating part) but put him in your party he's such a constant presence with him giving you extra information and context.
Then you get Elminster's news and act 2 romance.
Gale is so full of emotions but he can't (or don't know how to ) show because of the orb but also he feels like your probably making a mistake. He's bracing himself for rejection the whole time until finally the he can't hold it in anymore.
It is such a slow burn with his mellow start then sudden addition of extra pressures until finally his emotions just climax (act 2 wink wink) or blows up (literally).
