Hey, wait a minute...
___
JOKE-OGRAPHY: 1. The Source: This cartoon doesn't have any direct quotes from the trial, like the previous comics, but it's based on this passage here (translated by W. S. Scott): "Asked if she knew Catherine de la Rochelle, or had seen her, [Jeanne] said yes, at Jargeau; and at Montfaucon-en-Berry. Asked whether [Catherine] had shown her a woman dressed in white, who [Catherine] said sometimes appeared to her, [Jeanne] answered no. [...] And in order to be certain of the truth, [Jeanne] had spoken to [her Voices,] Saint Catherine and Saint Margaret, who told her that this Catherine was mad and a liar." 2. Summary: Catherine was another woman who claimed to have revelations from God. St. Joan eventually consulted her Voices about her, and they concluded that Catherine was bonkers. 3. Irony: In this cartoon, the lawyer asks Joan about Catherine, and Joan answers bluntly that Catherine claimed to have visions from God but was a fraud. The lawyer snickers and pretends to empathize with Joan's frustration. He says he understands what it's like to deal with a fake mystic, implying that Joan is a fraud like Catherine. It takes Joan a second to register this insult, but when she does, she gives him the look. 4. Up Next: This isn't the whole passage about Catherine de la Rochelle, just the introduction. I'm saving the rest for the story arc I'm about to do. Stay tuned!

I will watch over them to build and to plant," declares the LORD.
Jeremiah 31:28
You may be thinking, "I don't know how I could ever get through this." Or you may be battling powerful feelings of despair.
But as difficult as this life storm may be, you are not alone. God is with you always. He loves you, and cares about what is going on in your life. He hears your cries and sees your pain. Moreover, He understands.
In the midst of your pain and struggle, God is with you. Even if you do not feel Him near, God is there. He promises to never leave you. Therefore, wherever you are, God is,  never losing sight of you, or your suffering. Even as you ponder how you will begin picking up the pieces of your life, God is there, giving you the strength you need, holding you up, and making a way where there seems to be no way. Reach out for Him today. He is a very present help in times of trouble

original Christian art
I would be interested in hearing your interpretations, but I'll put my thought process under the cut.
In the first image, there are eyes depicted throughout the landscape: the clouds, the flowers, the trees, the ground. This represents how God is all-seeing, and how you can see God in everything, and how God is always with us, even if we see it or feel it or anything.
In the second image, we have a disembodied mouth whispering to the character. In tandem with the first image, having the mouth by itself represents how man can't see God---at least, not entirely. There's a verse about that, but I can't remember where it is. Like we can't see God's face in our current condition or something. If you know it, please do tell me. If this were about how God always listens to us, we would just see disembodied ears. The mouth is whispering love to the character, truths and promises---I think that's self-explanatory. But as you can see, the character starts out blue and the words are turning her red/pink. This is the effect of God's word: healing, peace, and love.

As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Luke 11:27-28

Haman the wicked man had a  murderous plan to wipe out the Jewish people. Esther knew how dire the situation was, hence she fasted with her people.  Esther put her life on the line and went into the king’s presence to plead for the lives of her people. Going into the presence of the king could have been a death sentence for her, for in those days, going into the king's presence without being summoned could kindle the king's wrath. But it so happened that, when the king saw Esther standing in the court, she obtained favour in his sight; and the king extended to Esther the golden scepter which was in his hand. Esther 5:1
You know, God works in miraculous ways. God moved the king’s heart and the Jews were saved and God’s name was glorified.
When your situation seems grim, and it appears that your story has taken a terrible turn, remember your King, Jesus, has the last word. Go into the presence of the King of kings and plead your case. He will have favour upon you and answer your prayer.

Dear God, I pray for discernment and wisdom. What I don’t know and can’t see makes my faith journey treacherous. Please open my eyes to reveal all that is hidden from my sight. Protect me from anything or anyone that plans to attack and derail my calling and purpose. Help me to overcome all that comes against me. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. In Jesus Name I pray, amen. 🙏
