Layton in Eternal Diva is so funny in how he doesn't gaf. Keeps puzzle answers to himself even though failing means, as far as he knows, condemning the wrong-guessers to death. Intentionally leads the posh lady and the footballer to the wrong answer, watches them fall a massive drop and just deadpan yells 'wait here a bit'. Knows Descole is probably going to use Ambrosia for something Negative but still solves the puzzle FOR him and raises the kingdom, purely to rub it in his face. He's SUCH a bitch.

Curious village: multimillionaire dies and locks his daughter in an attic to be raised by robots in total isolation until someone solves this puzzle
Diabolical box: come freely, go safely, and beware of the hot twink and his hallucinogenic gas
Unwound future: losing every person you ever cared about doesn't necessarily turn you evil, the Luke cosplayer who built an exact copy of London under normal London was an outlier adn should not have been counted
Last specter: local man allows his uni friend to take his son on a dangerous hunt to find a real life monster that's destroying their town
Miracle mask: queer coded villain turns some amnesiac guy into another queer coded villain cause they both have beef with this one archaeology professor in particular
Azran legacy: there's a lesson about progress at all costs here somewhere but we're also trying to kidnap a magical zombie girl back from the archaeology mafia and wait why am I crying
Bonus
Eternal diva: who cares about death when this pipe organ can store people's souls
Phoenix Wright: how to become an omniscient narrator, step 1: poison the city's water supply

Tiny details I noticed from the Layton series:
Katrielle's sofa is shaped like her hair:
In the Promo artwork for Miracle Mask, you can see Stachenscarfen.
This man gets so excited about seeing the Bostonius that he rushes out his house and immediately slips on the ice:
It's not a continuity error that Dean Delmona has white hair in Laytons Mystery Journey. When he's shocked, his hair flies off his head, revealing it to be a wig.
Ingrid and Matthew have to stand on piles of books to be able to see out the window:
Duke makes an appearance in St Mystere despite being from Folsense. And being a hallucination.
The man Grosky fights with in Last Specter can be seen in Prison in the credits of Eternal Diva.
In Eternal Diva, during Puzzle 001, you can overhear two men arguing about the answer.
The two are looking at a fossil of what appears to be a Ichthyosaur.
You can hear the first man ask, "What about that? Is that old?"
Second man replies, "That's a fish."
The first argues back, "It's a fossil you buffoon!!"
I don't know, I thought it was funny.
That's all I can fit onto this post.
Please share any small details you've noticed, I love seeing them!

all canon azran symbols and motifs masterdoc
discord convo led to 6 hours of hyperfocus and research for me, so i'm gonna put my findings here for your resource as well!
as most of the resources concerning the japan-only azran legacy guidebook's azran "language" cipher (that used to be somewhere as a font back in the day?) and the fans' interpretation of what letters' solutions weren't included officially have disappeared off the face of the internet, i had the idea of reconstructing it, which brought me down the rabbithole of the INCREDIBLY inconsistent nature of the azran language throughout the professor layton prequels. even if that cipher is dubiously canon, some of its symbols appear as canon azran text in the games. i wanted to check overlap as well as log every existing example of characters in an azran writing system.
interestingly enough, some characters reappear across games- and there's lots and lots of them to account for. around 23 pages of this doc worth, actually!
this also led me to compile most of the visual imagery players see in azran spaces, as well as any azran seals shown in-game. i'm pretty sure i covered my bases, but if i'm missing anything, i can absolutely update this compilation!
here's a full pdf to save for your reference!

⋆⋅༺ diva mindset. (pt.6) ༻⋅⋆
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ ⋆*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
If you want it, get it.
If you want to do something, do it.
you DO NOT need anyone opinion, nor validation to do so.
a tip to break out the habit, is having more confidence in yourself!
one of the main points in life is experiencing & learning about who you are.
you’ll have troubles doing so if you stay in the present mindset.
with that being said, do that thing you’ve been overthinking about, scared to do, or have doubts about.
you’ll never really know, until you FULLY apply yourself, doll.
- kisses from, diva. 💋

‘It was no wonder that you hadn’t noticed, Descole. Someone like you would never understand Janice’s kindness, or the nobility of sacrificing oneself in order to keep others alive.’
Taken from @lutiaslayton’s fan-translation for the novellisation of Eternal Diva.
