Summery:(REQUESTED) You and Lewis have been in a long term relationship, he's on a triple header and you decide to surprise him only to walk in on him in bed with your childhood friend, more over you're pregnant with his baby.
Warning: cheating, cursing, pregnancy, miscarriage, blood, drugs, Sorry to all Carlas out there, but I just generated a name
A.N: This is longer that I was anticipating but it needed to be long.

You have been with Lewis for years, five years to be exact. Enough time for him to be integrated into your friend group. You usually try to travel with him as much as you can, but sometimes due to work commitments it’s hard for you to follow him. Saving your days off for the important races and his days off so you could relax together. One of your friends, Carla, was in between jobs at one point but wasn’t able to find anything. So Lewis being the man he is, offered her a spot in his team, and so Carla has been travelling with him a lot since then.
So she was the person you went to when you wanted to surprise Lewis, he was not expecting you this weekend at all, and you managed to get time off to see him. It’s been 2 weeks since you saw each other and you were itching to go see him.
Your heart fluttered with excitement and anticipation as you approached the hotel door, after 2 weeks of separation, you couldn’t wait to be in Lewis’s arms again. You smile to yourself, relishing the surprise you planned for him. Slipping the keycard into the lock, you push the door open, your anticipation building with each passing second.
The last thing you thought would happen, happened. The sight that greeted you inside shattered all your hopes and dreams in an instant. The smile wiped from your face, just like that.
There, on the bed, lay Lewis, your partner of five years, his eyes unfocused and distant. And straddling him, with a look of brazen disregard, was Carla, your childhood friend, her confidante, her sister in all but blood. But there was nothing familiar about the way she straddled Lewis, her movements possessive and predatory.
Your mind reeled, unable to process the surreal things unfolding before you. You watched in stunned disbelief as Carla leaned in close to Lewis, her lips brushing against his ear in whispered intimacy. But there was no warmth in the embrace, no tenderness in the caress. Lewis seemed so drunk he showed no reaction to what’s happening around him. The shock was like a physical blow, knocking the air from your lungs and leaving you reeling in disbelief. This couldn't be happening. Not to you. Not with the two people you trusted most in the world.
"Carla- Lewis." The words caught in your throat, your voice a mere whisper against the oppressive silence of the room.
"y/n..." Carla's voice cut through the suffocating silence, but there was no remorse in her tone, only a chilling indifference. "I didn't expect you so soon."
Your mind raced as you tried to make sense of the betrayal unfolding in front of you. Lewis wouldn't do this to you, and neither would Carla. But as you looked into their eyes, Lewis's vacant and Carla's calculating ones, you knew the truth. They had betrayed you, and they had done it knowingly.
A surge of anger and hurt threatened to overwhelm you.
“C-Carla, why are you- on t-top of Lewis like that?” You asked, voice trembling with anger and betrayal but most of all hurt.
“It's not what you think, y-y/n. Lewis wasn't feeling well, so I was just... helping him.” Carla tried to reason, she’s no longer on top of Lewis, she picked up his shirt that you bought for him and slipped it on.
“Helping him?” You scoffed, your eyes flashing with fury. “Cut the crap! Lewis, what the hell are you doing with her?”
“y/n, please, let me explain.” Carla pleaded with you and you shook your head.
“Explain? Explain what, Carla? That you're on top of my boyfriend?” This is all too much, even with her words, and her pleading with you, it all sounded fake. She’s not sorry and there’s no explanation to this, she knew what she was doing.
“Y/n? B-baby? What are you doing h-here?” Lewis sounded so out of it, shit drunk for sure. Lewis isn’t the type to drink a lot. You can remember all the times he was so drunk he was out of it, it’s so not like him. But it’s also not like Carla to be naked on top of your naked boyfriend.
“Fucking herll, I trusted you, i trusted you both.” Tears of betrayal well up in your eyes. “The girl I considered my sister and the man I love more than anything in my life, how could you? Honestly, how could you?”
Carla stutters and Lewis tried to move but he couldn’t even support his own weight, leaving you to scoff, and strom out of the room, as you fled down the hallway, tears stream down your face, your heart shattering into a million irreparable pieces by the two people you trusted most.
“y/n!” A familiar voice calls your name, on instinct you stop and turn, only to see Sebastian there, you have no idea what the former F1 driver is doing here but seeing him made you cry more. Seb was there when your relationship started with Lewis, he’s seen it all. “What happened? Do you want me to find Lewis for you?”
“No, I don’t want to see that asshole again in my life.” You spit out, Seb frowns at your words, but he says nothing. He just pulls you in his arms and hugs you.
“It’s okay, darling, it’s okay.” Seb tries to comfort you, but you shake your head no.
“It’s not okay, Seb, and it never will be.” You pull back, wiping your tears away. “You should go check on him, so he wouldn’t choke on his spit… or leave him, what do I care.”
“Are you sure?” Sebastian wasn’t sure about leaving you in this state, he’ll have a word with Lewis about whatever he’s done to leave you like that. He’s never seen you like this.
“Yes, I’m catching the next flight home.” You tell him and manage the smallest smile known to mankind, before you turn and leave. This time keeping your head down so you wouldn’t be seen or stopped again.
You take a taxi to the airport, your crying started once you were in the back of the car, feeling as your body went through the heartbreak, your world felt like it was collapsing around you. The weather seats of the car felt cold against your trembling body, and each bump in the road sent jolts of pain shooting through your already shattered heart.
The city passed by in a blur outside the window, the lights and sounds of the streets blending together into an indistinct haze. But inside the taxi, you were enveloped in a suffocating silence, broken only by the occasional sniffle as tears streamed down your cheeks.
Your emotional pain had morphed into something physical, a heavy weight pressing down on your chest, making it difficult to breathe. Every breath felt like a struggle, as if the air itself had turned thick and heavy with your sorrow.
The ache in your chest radiated outwards, spreading through your body like wildfire. It felt as though your heart had been torn from your chest, leaving behind a raw, gaping wound that throbbed with every beat.
You hugged your arms tightly around yourself, as if trying to hold the pieces of your shattered heart together. But no amount of physical embrace could ease the agony that consumed you from within.
Unbeknownst to you, your body harbored another source of pain. A life growing within you, fragile and unsuspected until now.
The physical toll of your distress began to manifest, a dull ache in your abdomen gradually intensifying into sharp, stabbing pains. Clutching your stomach, you doubled over, gasping for breath as waves of agony washed over you.
The taxi driver who was aware of your tears noticed the change in you, he noticed your distress, concern etched on his face as he glanced back at you through the rearview mirror.
"Ma'am, are you okay? Do you need me to take you to the hospital?"
Your head spun with a whirlwind of emotions, confusion mingling with the searing pain radiating from your abdomen.
“P-Please… the hospital.” You manage to say through the haze and agony, your voice barely a whisper.
With a sense of urgency, the taxi driver changed course, steering the vehicle towards the nearest hospital. You clung to consciousness by a thread, your breaths shallow and ragged, each movement sending fresh waves of pain coursing through your body.
As the taxi screeched to a halt in front of the hospital's emergency entrance, you were helped out of the car by the concerned driver. Every step you took felt like an eternity, the pain in your abdomen intensifying with each passing moment.
Inside the hospital, you were rushed to the emergency room, where doctors and nurses worked quickly to assess your condition.
The fluorescent lights casting a harsh glare over the stark white walls. Nurses bustled around you, hooking you up to monitors and taking your vital signs, their movements a blur in your pain-addled mind.
You lay on the hospital bed, your body wracked with waves of agony that seemed to consume your whole being. You clutched your abdomen, the source of your torment, with trembling hands, each heartbeat sending fresh spikes of pain coursing through you.
A doctor entered the room, his expression grave as he approached your bedside. His voice was calm but tinged with concern as he addressed you.
"Miss, I'm Dr. Patel. We've run some tests, and I'm afraid I have some news for you."
Your heart hammered in your chest as you looked up at the doctor, your eyes filled with fear and apprehension.
"What is it, doctor? What's wrong with me?" You whispered, your voice barely audible over the sounds of the hospital.
Dr. Patel hesitated for a moment, his gaze sympathetic as he delivered the news that would shatter your world once more, you thought that what happened earlier is the worst thing that could ever happen to you. And you’re about to be proven wrong. You haven’t reached reached your lowest point yet.
"I'm sorry to tell you this, Miss, but it appears that you were pregnant. Unfortunately, it seems you are experiencing a miscarriage."
Your world spun out of control at the doctor’s words, your mind reeling with shock and disbelief. Pregnant? Miscarraige? You couldn't wrap your head around the enormity of what the doctor was telling you.
“I-I I was pregnant?” You whispered, your voice choking with emotion. Dr. Patel nodded solemnly.
"Yes, it seems that way. I'm truly sorry for your loss."
Tears streamed sown your face as the weight of the doctor’s words settled over you like a suffocating blanket. You had been carrying a life with you, unaware until now, unaware until it was all too late, until it was taken from you.
Alone in the hospital room, with only the sterile walls for company, you grieved for the child you had never known, your heart breaking with a pain that transcended words. And as you lay there, lost in her anguish, you knew that your life would never be the same again.

Seb's heart pounded with a mixture of anger and concern as he stormed down the hotel corridor towards Lewis's room. The state he saw in you fuelled his determination to confront his friend.
Reaching the door, Seb banged on it with force, the sound reverberating through the hallway. He heard shuffling inside before the door swung open to reveal a dishevelled Lewis and a startled Carla.
"What the hell is going on here?" Seb's voice thundered, his anger barely contained.
Carla stumbled over her words, attempting to offer an explanation, but Seb silenced her with a stern glare. His attention shifted to Lewis, disappointment etched deeply into his features.
"Lewis, how could you?" Seb's voice cracked with emotion, his disbelief palpable. "With Carla, of all people?"
Lewis blinked, his expression a mixture of confusion and alarm. "Seb, I- I don't understand. What are you talking about?"
“Don’t play dumb, Lewis, I just saw y/n.” Seb's frustration surged as he realised Lewis's confusion. “She was in tears over you.”
Carla, sensing the escalating tension, made a hasty exit, leaving Seb alone with Lewis. The weight of disappointment hung heavy in the air as Seb struggled to comprehend what had happened.
"Lewis, something's not right here," Seb said, his voice softening slightly as he studied his friend's bewildered expression. "You seem... out of it."
Lewis shook his head, his memory foggy and fragmented. "I don't know what's happening, Seb. Everything's a blur."
Seb's concern deepened as he realised the severity of the situation. With a sense of urgency, he dialled the only number he had of Lewis’s team, relaying the state he’s in. Even though he’s more coherent now from when you were here, he was still out of it. Stumbling a little, his pupils blown wide, his words sluggish and he’s stuttering.
Minutes later, a medical team arrived at the hotel room, their professional demeanor a stark contrast to the chaos within. They quickly assessed Lewis's condition, taking blood samples and running tests while Seb watched on, his worry mounting with each passing moment. They have to make sure he’s okay to race the next day.
As Lewis began to regain consciousness, the pieces of the puzzle slowly started to fall into place. Seb breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that his friend was going to be okay.
"What... what happened?" Lewis mumbled, his gaze darting around the room in confusion.
Seb sighed, the weight of the situation pressing heavily on his shoulders. "We'll figure it out, Lewis. But for now, let's focus on getting you the help you need."
Sebastian had a theory but until it’s confirmed he’ll just keep it to himself.
Lewis trudged up the familiar path to your shared home, his heart heavy with a sense of dread. The events of the past few days had left him reeling, his mind still struggling to make sense of the chaos that had engulfed his life.
As he reached the front door, he hesitated for a moment, steeling himself for what lay beyond. With a shaky hand, he inserted the key and turned the lock, the door swinging open with a creak that echoed through the empty hallway.
The emptiness of the house hit Lewis like a physical blow, the silence oppressive and suffocating. He stepped inside, the weight of his solitude bearing down on him with each echoing footstep.
The living room was barren, devoid of the warmth and familiarity that once filled the space. Lewis's gaze swept over the room, searching for any trace of the life he had known, but found only echoes of the past.
His heart sank as he realised that your belongings were gone, your absence a gaping void in your once shared home. The realisation hit him like a punch to the gut, the ache of loss settling deep in his chest.
With trembling hands, Lewis reached for his phone, his fingers fumbling as he scrolled through his contacts. But when he tried to call you, he was met with nothing but silence, just like it has been since that day, the realisation crashing down on him like a tidal wave.
You had blocked him on everything.
The weight of your absence pressed down on Lewis with crushing force, his breaths coming in shallow gasps as he struggled to hold back the tears threatening to spill from his eyes. He felt lost, adrift in a sea of loneliness and regret.
How had it all gone so wrong? How had he allowed himself to stray so far from the love that had once anchored him?
With a heavy heart, Lewis sank onto the couch, his head in his hands as he surrendered to the overwhelming tide of despair. In the silence of their empty home, he grappled with the harsh reality of his mistakes, the mistakes he has no memory of, mistakes that he’d never do, longing for a chance to make things right, even as he feared it might already be too late.
Tumblr media
Lewis sat alone in your once vibrant home, the air heavy with an oppressive silence that mirrored the emptiness in his heart. He had spent days in a haze of despair. His attempts to reach out to you were met with a resounding silence, leaving him to grapple with his own sense of remorse and longing.
As he sat listlessly on the couch, the shrill ring of his phone shattered the quietude of the room. With a heavy sigh, Lewis reached for the device, his fingers trembling as he answered the call.
"Hello?" His voice was hoarse with exhaustion, his eyes fixed on a distant point in the room.
The voice on the other end was unfamiliar, belonging to a friend of yours, someone Lewis hadn't spoken to in months. The words that followed pierced through the heavy fog of his mind, jolting him into stark awareness.
"Lewis." the voice began, its tone laced with sorrow. “I hate to be the one telling you this, and y/n would hate me for telling you.”
“What’s wrong?” Lewis is instantly filled with a sense of dread and fear as his mind realed trying to come up with reasons why your friend was calling him.
"I'm so sorry to have to tell you this on the phone, but y/n, she was pregnant.”
Lewis’s mind only heard and registered pregnant at first. “Pregnant?” And then he realsied the tense your friend was using. “Was? What do you mean was?”
Silence.
“She lost the baby."
Lewis felt as though the ground had fallen out from beneath him, his heart plummeting into despair. The weight of the revelation crushed him, leaving him gasping for breath as he struggled to comprehend the enormity of the loss.
A baby. Their baby. The child you had never known, taken from you before you even had a chance to hold it in your arms. The realisation sent shockwaves of grief coursing through Lewis's veins, his mind reeling with a cacophony of emotions.
"Why... why didn't she tell me?" Lewis's voice wavered with anguish, his heart splintering into a million fractured pieces. "How could she go through something like this alone?"
The friend on the other end of the line offered what comfort they could, their own voice trembling with empathy. “After everything that happened, she’s entitled to being alone Lewis, I just thought it’s best you know.”
In that moment of searing clarity, Lewis knew what he had to do.
He needed to see you. He needed to hold you in his arms and share in your grief, to let you know that you weren’t alone in your pain. He needed to face the consequences of his actions, whatever they may be.
With a heavy heart and a newfound sense of purpose, Lewis rose from his seat and made his way to the bedroom, his phone out already as he called for his jet to be ready in Nice. He’s going to find you, no matter what it took.
Tumblr media
Lewis stood on your doorstep, his heart heavy with a mixture of apprehension and determination. He raised his hand to knock, but before his knuckles could make contact with the wood, the door swung open, revealing his tired and worn-down ex-girlfriend.
Your eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Lewis standing before you. The lines of exhaustion etched deep into your features softened briefly before hardening into a mask of cold indifference.
"Lewis." You said, your voice devoid of its usual warmth. "What are you doing here?"
Lewis swallowed hard, the lump in his throat threatening to choke him as he met your gaze. "Love, we need to talk."
A flicker of anger flashed in your eyes, but you remained silent, your arms crossed tightly over your chest as if to shield yourself from his presence. This leaves him doubting this more than ever.
"I know I messed up, but I need to make things right." Lewis said, his voice trembling with emotion. Your expression remained impassive, but Lewis could see the pain lurking beneath the surface, a reflection of his own turmoil.
"I'm tired of talking, Lewis." You finally said, your voice barely above a whisper. "You don't get to waltz back into my life after everything you’ve done."
Lewis felt a pang of guilt twist in his chest at your words, the weight of his actions bearing down on him with crushing force. He had hoped for a chance to make amends, but your cold indifference left him doubting whether reconciliation was even possible, and rightfully so.
"I'm not asking for forgiveness." He replied, his voice tinged with desperation. "I just want to understand. About... about what happened."
Your eyes flashed with a mixture of grief and anger at the mention of the past, the pain etched plainly across your face. Lewis felt his heart ache at the sight of your suffering, knowing that he was the cause of it.
"Don't you dare talk to me about what happened." You spat, your voice trembling with emotion. "You don't get to pretend like you care after what you did."
Lewis recoiled as if struck, the force of your words driving the breath from his lungs. He felt a lump form in his throat, the weight of his mistakes threatening to suffocate him.
"I made a mistake, love, and I remember nothing, I was so out of it." He whispered, his voice thick with remorse. "But I never wanted to hurt you. I love you, and I'm sorry."
For a moment, the anger in your eyes softened, replaced by a flicker of vulnerability. But it was fleeting, overshadowed once again by a steely resolve.
"I can't do this, Lewis," you said, your voice barely a whisper.
Lewis's voice wavered with uncertainty as he broached the topic that weighed heavily on his mind. "Did you... Did you know about the child before it happened?"
Your eyes flickered with a mixture of pain and disbelief at his question, the raw emotions swirling beneath the surface like a tempest.
"Does it even matter now?" You retorted, your voice tinged with bitterness. "Knowing or not wouldn't change what happened."
Lewis's heart sank at your response, the weight of his own ignorance pressing down on him with suffocating force. He had hoped for some shred of understanding.
"I just... I want to be there for you." He pleaded, his voice trembling with emotion. "I want to help you through this, if you'll let me."
Your expression softened for a moment, a flicker of vulnerability breaking through the facade of cold indifference. But it was fleeting, replaced once again by a steely resolve.
"I can't do this, Lewis." You said, your voice barely above a whisper. "Not with you."
With a heavy heart, Lewis watched as you closed the door in his face, shutting him out from your life once again. He stood there for a moment, the weight of your rejection crushing him under its unbearable burden.
As he turned and walked away, the echoes of your shattered love lingered in the air, a haunting reminder of what could have been.
Tumblr media
Lewis returned to your doorstep every day since, with you refusing to open the door and speak to him. His nights are long and sleepless, as he tries to deal with the turmoil inside of him, he lost you and he lost his child all in one day. It all happened when he was drunk, when he was so out of it he can’t even remember it right now. He knew that he had to try, to lay bare his soul and beg for the forgiveness he so desperately wanted. Needed.
And so once more and with a deep breath, he raised his hand to knock, his knuckles rapping softly against the wood. Finally, after six days of trying the door opened, Lewis was met with your tired gaze, your eyes betraying a mixture of weariness and guarded apprehension. He felt his resolve waver for a moment, the weight of your silent scrutiny pressing down on him like a leaden weight.
"y/n." He began, his voice trembling with emotion. "Please, I need to talk to you."
You regarded him with a wary expression, but remained silent, and so he continued. "I know I've made mistakes, love, believe me I do." Lewis confessed, his voice raw with emotion. "I've hurt you in ways I never intended, and I can't even begin to express how sorry I am for that."
Your eyes softened slightly at his words, a flicker of vulnerability shining through the mask of indifference. But before you could respond, Lewis pressed on, his desperation driving him forward.
"I can't change the past." He admitted, his voice thick with regret. "But I can promise you this, I'll do whatever it takes to make things right. I'll be there for you, through every moment of pain and loss. Please, just give me a chance to prove myself to you."
Tears welled in your eyes at his heartfelt plea, his words striking a chord deep within your wounded heart. Part of you yearned to forgive him, to let him back into your life and embrace the hope of a second chance. But the scars he had left behind were still tender, the pain still fresh and raw.
"I don't know if I can." You whispered.
Lewis felt a pang of despair grip his heart at your words, the fear of losing you forever threatening to overwhelm him. But he refused to give up, his love for you driving him to keep fighting. He’s never given up when it came to racing, and he’s certainly not going to give up now.
"I understand," he said, his voice filled with determination. "But please, just think about it. I'll be waiting for you, for as long as it takes."
With one final pleading look, Lewis turned and walked away.
Tumblr media
After weeks of silence and contemplation, you finally made the decision to unblock Lewis and reach out to him. You’ve seen the races, you’ve seen the interviews, Lewis is a man broken, under his eyes have grown darker, he no longer smiles or jokes around. For the first time in his career, racing has become just a job for him.
And so, with a heavy heart and a sense of trepidation, you sent him a text, informing him of your upcoming visit to Monaco and your intention to meet and talk things through. You had some business there you had to take care of, and that was the final push, that maybe you should sit down and talk everything through, not to get back together but maybe to just start moving on, maybe and just maybe become friends and nothing more. You lived with the motion that once a cheater, always a cheater.
You ring the bell to your-Lewis’s house and wait for him to open the door, even though your keychain holds the key that will let you in. This place you once called home. Memories flood your mind as you stand at the front door, a mixture of nostalgia and pain gripping your heart. You take a deep breath and knock. Moments later, the door opens to reveal Lewis, looking worn out and deeply regretful. His eyes soften at the sight of you and there’s hope in them. You’re about to crush that hope and despite everything you hate that you will, and you hate yourself even more for still caring about him even for a bit.
“Come in.” He says quietly, stepping aside to let you pass.
You walk inside, the familiar scent of his cologne mingling with the faint aroma of the diffuser you always had dotted around the house. The house is tidy, but there’s an unmistakable air of emptiness, it's void of all your little things that you took with you when you left. You sit down on the couch, feeling a strange mix of comfort and tension.
Lewis sits across from you, his hands clasped together, knuckles white. The silence between you is heavy, each second feeling like an eternity.
“You wanted to talk.” You begin, your voice trembling slightly.
He nods, swallowing hard. “I’m so sorry for everything. I... I didn’t know how to reach you, how to make things right.”
“I don't know if you ever could.” Tears well up in your eyes as you look at him. “Seeing you with her... it broke me, Lewis. I trusted both of you. And then... losing the baby...” Your voice breaks, and you cover your mouth, trying to stifle a sob. Lewis’s eyes fill with tears as he reaches out but stops himself, unsure if his touch would be welcome.
“I didn’t know,” he whispers, his voice cracking. “I swear I didn’t know what was happening. I don't even remember drinking, but my mind went blank, I would never...”
You nod, struggling to hold back the flood of emotions. “I believe you. But it doesn’t make the pain any less real.”
“I never wanted to hurt you.” He leans forward, his eyes pleading. “I can’t imagine the pain you’ve been through.”
“You don’t have to imagine.” You reply, your voice tinged with bitterness. “It’s real, and it’s here. Every single day.”
Lewis looks down, shame and regret etched into his features. “If I could take it all back, I would. I’d do anything to make this right.”
“I know. And I’m trying to understand, to forgive, the 5 years we spent together aren't so easy to flush down the drain.” You sigh, feeling the weight of his words. “But it’s so hard, Lewis. Losing our baby... it feels like the universe is p-punishing me.”
“It’s not your fault.” He says softly, his eyes filling with tears. “None of this is your fault. I was careless, I let my guard down. I should have protected you, protected us.” Lewis wipes away a tear, his voice trembling, seeing the man you loved for so long cry, made your own eyes fill with tears. He betrayed you but you still both lost your child before you even knew they existed. “I miss you. I miss us. I want to be there for you, to help you heal. If you’ll let me, just af friends .”
Instinctively, you both move closer, seeking solace in each other’s presence. Lewis reaches out and gently takes your hand, his touch tentative yet filled with a desperate need to comfort you.
“I don’t know if I can ever forget what happened.” You admit, your voice barely a whisper.
“You don’t have to.” He replies, his grip on your hand tightening. “But we can try to move forward, we can try to start coping. Together.”
You look into his eyes, seeing the depth of his sorrow and love. In that moment, you realise that despite everything, the bond between you is still there, it has weakened but it's still there.
“Do you really think we can get through this?” You ask, a hint of hope in your voice.
“I do.” Lewis says earnestly. “It won’t be easy, but I believe in us. I believe in you.”
Tears stream down your face as you lean into each other, your foreheads touching. The hug is a mix of comfort, sorrow, and the lingering love you still feel. You hold each other tightly, finding a fragile sense of solace in your shared grief and determination to heal. The journey ahead is uncertain, but for the first time in a long while, you feel a glimmer of hope.
Someone knocks on the front door, you break apart and Lewis goes to answer the door while you wipe your tears away.
”What are you doing here?” You hear Lewis say, and just as you stood up to go see who it is, Carla comes into the living room. You weren’t expecting her at all, unlike Lewis Carla hasn’t tried to reach out to you in any way. She has even spread some false information about you in your friend group. Carla storms in, her face twisted with anger and jealousy.
“What the hell is this?” she shouts, her eyes wild. “How can you forgive him after everything?”
“Carla, what are you doing here?”
”Me? What are you doing here? You’re just going to forgive him?” She ignores your question, her anger escalating.
“What happens between us is none of your business.” You tell her getting angry yourself, you weren’t about to give her the satisfaction of knowing that you haven’t forgiven Lewis and you were merely trying to deal with the grief of losing your child.
“After everything I’ve done to break you two up, I could go to jail!” Her words hang in the air, a shocking revelation that leaves you both speechless. Realising what she’s just admitted, Carla’s face pales, and she tries to backtrack. “I didn’t mean that,” she stammers, but it’s too late. The truth is out.
“What did you just say?” Lewis asks, his eyes narrowing.
Carla’s eyes dart around the room, desperate for an escape. “You heard me wrong. I was just angry. I didn’t mean it.”
“Did you plan everything? Did you mean to break us up? Is that it?” Your anger is boiling over.
“He was supposed to be mine! You were always in the way! You don’t deserve him!” Carla’s face contorted with rage.
Lewis steps between you and Carla, his voice steady but filled with fury. “Get out of my house, Carla. Now.”
“You’re just going to throw me out? After everything I did for you?” Carla’s eyes flash with defiance.
“Everything you did for me?” Lewis scoffs. “You tried to destroy my life, my relationship. You’re the reason we lost our baby!”
“I... I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.” Carla takes a step back, realising the gravity of her actions. She may have wanted to break you up, but she didn’t know about your baby’s, and she didn’t want you to lose them anyways.
“You need to leave,” you say, your voice shaking with emotion. “You’ve done enough damage.”
Carla glares at you one last time before turning and storming out, slamming the door behind her. The house is silent for a moment, as you try to process everything that just happened.
”What did she mean after everything I’ve done and the jail thing?” You ask Lewis hoping he had any clue on what Carla was talking about.
”I-I’m not sure.”
”Did anything happen before or after…that night?” You ask him, hugging yourself, Lewis once more stops himself from pulling you closer into his arms.
”I don’t know, I was sick the whole night, almost didn’t race the next day.” Lewis remembers the weird sickness he had, it came out of nowhere. “Wait, Sebastian was there.”
”Seb? He actually went to your room?” You asked, knowing Seb of course he did what you said.
”Yeah, I’ll give him a call.” Lewis grabs his phone and calls Seb, recounting Carla’s outburst. Seb who was already suspicious, reinforces the need to follow up on the blood tests.
“We’ll get to the bottom of this.” Seb assures. “Hang tight, and I’ll push the lab to rush the results.”
Apparently since Lewis was alright the day after, they haven’t paid his lap results any mind, but once Seb called them they rushed in sending the results.
“Lewis, I-I have the results,” Seb says, his voice grave. You already have a feeling about what he will say.
“What did they find?” he asks, his heart pounding.
“There were traces of a sedative in your blood. It’s a strong one, often used in cases of severe anxiety or insomnia, but in high doses, it can knock someone out cold,” Seb explains.
A wave of relief and anger washes over you simultaneously. “So, it’s true,” you say, your voice trembling. “Carla really did drug you.”
”I’m afraid so.” Seb said and there was a moment of silence. “I’ll let you guys absorb this, and I’ll call you later.”
”Alright, thank you Seb.”
The confirmation that Lewis was drugged shifts the dynamics entirely. You and Lewis sit in silence, absorbing the magnitude of what has just happened.
Lewis leans back, closing his eyes as he processes the information. “I can’t believe she would do something like this. I trusted her. We both did.”
“She manipulated the situation. But now we know the truth.” You reach out, taking his hand.
“I feel so violated, so helpless. I hate that she did this to us, to you.” He squeezes your hand, tears welling up in his eyes. He wasn’t just drugged and taken advantage of, his relationship was ruined and he lost his child in the process.
“I hate it too.” you admit, your voice cracking. “But at least we have proof now. We can start to heal.”
Lewis pulls you into a tight embrace, his body shaking with emotion. “I’m so sorry for everything. I should have seen the signs. I should have protected you.”
“We couldn’t have known. She was our friend, or at least we thought she was. But we’re still here, and we can get through this together.” You hold him close, your own tears mingling with his.
The emotional weight of the past weeks begins to lift as you find solace in each other’s arms. There’s a renewed sense of unity and strength, knowing that the truth is out and that you can begin to move forward. Knowing that Lewis didn’t cheat left you with a sense of relief, you’re not alone.
“We need to press charges.” You say once you both have calmed down. “She can’t get away with this.”
“You’re right. She can’t get away with this.” Lewis nods, his face set with determination. And he does call his lawyers and told them what happened, they have told him what to do next. A call to the police was made and that set everything in motion, Carla wasn’t getting away with it.
Tumblr media
It's been a few weeks since the confrontation with Carla and the revelation that Lewis was drugged. The legal process against her is ongoing, and while justice is on the horizon, the emotional scars remain. You and Lewis have reconciled, but the path to healing is long and filled with pain. The loss of your child is something that still haunt you and will continue to do for a very long time.
You wake up in Lewis's arms, the morning light filtering through the curtains. It's a Saturday, and for the first time in a while, there's no pressing urgency—no lawyers to meet, no police interviews to give, no races to go to, no meetings and no work. Just the two of you, trying to find some semblance of normalcy.
Lewis stirs and looks at you, his eyes soft but weary. "Good morning," he whispers, brushing a strand of hair from your face.
"Morning," you reply, managing a small smile. The simple act of waking up together feels both comforting and bittersweet.
The day unfolds slowly. You make breakfast together, an unspoken effort to reclaim a sense of routine. The kitchen fills with the aroma of coffee and pancakes, a small comfort amid the lingering sadness.
As you sit down to eat, an awkward silence settles between you. Finally, Lewis breaks it. "How are you feeling today?"
You take a deep breath, contemplating your words. "Some days are better than others. Today... I'm not sure yet."
"I miss the baby too. We may have not known them but I miss them so much." He nods, understanding, he says softly, his voice tinged with unexplainable pain. "Every day."
Tears well up in your eyes, and you reach across the table to take his hand. "I know. It's hard to move on, to find a way forward."
"We don't have to rush," Lewis reassures you. "We can take it one day at a time."
After that you found yourselves, both seeking solace in small, intimate moments. Taking long walks in the park, sitting quietly on the couch reading, holding each other during sleepless nights. These moments become the fragile threads that begin to weave your relationship back together. One evening, as you sit together watching the sunset, Lewis turns to you, his expression serious.
"I've been thinking... maybe we should see a therapist. Together. To help us process everything."
"I think that's a good idea. We need to talk about the baby, and about us, and just everything we’ve been through." You consider his suggestion.
And so you start attending therapy sessions together. The first few sessions are difficult, filled with raw emotion and unspoken fears. But slowly, you begin to open up, sharing your deepest pain and hopes for the future.
"Grieving the loss of a child is incredibly personal and complex." The therapist explains. "It's important to allow yourselves to feel the pain, but also to support each other through it."
It took time, and you’re still not back to how it was before. Perhaps you never will, but you’re learning to communicate more openly, to lean on each other in moments of weakness. The road is still long, but each step forward feels like a small victory.
One night, as you lie in bed, Lewis holds you close. "We'll get through this," he murmurs. "I believe in us."
You nod, feeling a glimmer of hope. "I believe in us too. We just have to keep moving forward, one step at a time."
Tumblr media
Months pass, and while the pain of losing your child never fully fades, you begin to find new ways to honour their memory. You plant a small garden in the backyard of your home in the UK, a place of peace and reflection.
Your relationship with Lewis continues to strengthen, built on a foundation of shared grief and newfound resilience. There are still difficult days, but you face them together, hand in hand.
You find yourselves always there, whenever you’re in the UK and one sunny afternoon, as you sit in the garden, Lewis takes your hand and looks into your eyes. "I know we'll never forget our baby, but I want us to keep dreaming, to keep hoping. Maybe one day... we can try again."
Tears fill your eyes, but this time they're a mix of sadness and hope. "I want that too," you say, squeezing his hand. "I want us to keep moving forward, to find happiness again."
As you sit together, surrounded by the blossoming flowers, you realise that while the road to healing is long, you're not walking it alone. Together, you're finding a way forward, one step at a time, building a new future from the ashes of the past.

TAG LIST IS CLOSED
You couldn’t pick out the exact moment of when you started to cry.
Was it lap 1? Lap 20? Lap 76? Maybe tears finally started to leak from your eyes as you stood under the podium, waiting for the love of your life to finally appear? Or were the tears drops of champagne that flowed from his winner’s bottle?
You didn’t know, but you knew that the pride in your heart could not be contained internally. It had to escape somewhere, so it formed itself into tears that were shed as you watched the whole vast of Monaco finally love Charles back.
You remembered the past times you cried as you stood below.
Tears from him, from you, and from the both of you stained the past asphalt here in the principality. Disappointment after disappointment would forever be written in the streets of Monte Carlos. However, today was the rain that would wash everything away.
Today was the day the sun finally shone once again.
But the sun would not dry the tears of pride from your face, you wouldn’t let it. The testament of your love and pride could make divots in your face for the rest of time, and you’d never want to fill them.
The applause around you grew as Carlos walked out, waving below. You could guess that the Spaniard knew that these people weren’t for him. They weren’t for anyone other than the green-eyed man in red.
More applause sounded as the green and yellow suit of Oscar stood out against the red of everything else. Your partially adopted son for the weekend caught your eye and gave you a sad smile. You could only shake your head, hoping to relay that these tears were finally not for a broken heart.
The moment the applause grew to screams, yells, and everything in between, you knew what it meant. In this moment, everything stood still in the chaos. Flags of red, yellow, red and white flew around your face. Joris stood behind you, hand on the small of your back to keep you steady.
But like you, his tears didn’t stop: they multiplied.
Finally, you had the courage to look up and gaze upon the subject of praise that would ring for all of eternity. You couldn’t help but join in, making a small dent in history for yourself.
Pride seemed to double, tripling the number of tears that fell. You knew a camera was focused on you, but nothing could take your eyes away from him on the step, flag in his trembling hands. You were almost silently saying, “Turn the camera on the man who has rewritten his and the country’s history.”
You watched as your prince wrapped his arms around his most precious gift. No one had been able to do what he did. A national treasure for the rest of time.
You witnessed your princess hug him dearly. His hands still trembled as he clutched his red and white flag. If it made him feel any better, you were trembling too, along with the hosts of Monaco. The people trembled in their spots, the flags swished back and forth. Hell, the boats in the port still roared for him, almost thirty minutes after he had crossed that beloved finish line.
When he finally turned to face the crowd below, your world went silent as your focus pinpointed on Charles.
History’s Charles. Monaco’s Charles. Formula One’s Charles.
Your Charles.
A laugh finally bullied its way through your tears as you saw him accidentally drop the flag and scramble to pick it up. Joris had started to rub your back, knowing that you needed some comfort. Where Joris was, there you were too.
The two of you liked to claim both spots of Charles’s right and left sides. Deemed the best WAGs by fans everywhere, you wouldn’t want to be anywhere but next to the boys. He had had a chance to race down to see your race winner before he had to go to the cooldown room. You had wanted to run with him, an invisible force wanted to drag you along. But you had stayed, to comfort and hug the people around you.
Where Joris was on your left, Arthur was on your right. He looked so much like his brother. The boy, who you had watched grow through his own disappointments and sorrows, also had his tears.
Today, however, every tear shed was the opposite of sorrows. They weren’t of heavy hearts or disappointments.
Every tear shed was pride incarnate.
The podium ended with Charles almost being drowned by his teammate and “adopted son.” How you wished you could be up there with him. You knew, though, that you’d have your time with him soon.
When you were allowed to leave, Charles’s driver room was the first place you’d go. In the back of your mind, you knew that he’d still be a while, the media taking up his time. And after was the principality dinner, and then probably Jimmyz with however many people you could fit in the club.
But then, after the whole of Monaco had a piece of him, he’d be yours.
The door opening caught your attention as you looked up from your phone. Many say that second- or third-place-Charles still had a smile, but it wasn’t a true one. Today was a testament to that stamen as he walked in with the biggest smile on his face.
If he could shine, he’d rival the sun.
A sigh escaped Charles’s lips when he saw you sitting on his couch after he was done with media. He could see that your mascara had slightly run, the only clues that you had cried.
“Mon ange,” he said as he dove into your awaiting arms. He felt damp under your hands, a mix of champagne and port water. You were ready for him to drop on you, and you welcomed the familiar weight.
“My race winner,” you whispered, pressing a long kiss to his hairline. Charles had none of that as he leaned up to press his lips against yours, wanting a true feeling of you next to him. He could die happily now if he needed to.
Your hands wrapped themselves in his hair, lightly tugging him back so that you could breathe. A low whine escaped him, making you lean your head back in laughter: his favorite sound of all.
“We have to get going,” you gently reminded him, already in the process of standing up. “And you need to shower. You stink.”
When you looked back down, Charles was definitely trying the puppy eyes on you, a pout joining on his lips. You shook your head.
“None of that, Char. You know that only Leo can pull off the eyes.”
Grumbles responded as he begrudgingly pulled himself off the couch. You knew that you only had a certain amount of time before people came looking for Charles. At that moment, you wanted to whisk him away, keep him from anyone for the rest of the night. However, your moments together wouldn’t happen until either late into the night or early in the morning.
You could wait, he’s waited long enough for this.
As the two of you quickly got ready after Charles biked home, which you thought was ridiculous, you enjoyed the quiet of your home. He seemed a bit on the quiet side, but you thought that he might be saving his energy for what was to come. You had picked out a very nice black dress that hugged your figure in just the right areas.
When you walked into the living area, Charles’s back was to you, his hand patting his pocket. You cleared your voice, making him turn around.
Charles’s breath caught in his throat at the sight of you. He stalked over and placed his hands on your hips, bringing you flush against him.
“I think I must have died for an angel is before me.”
You scoffed, hitting his shoulder lightly.
“I must have done something good in my past life to have my own prince,” you said, hands joining together at his nape. Charles, aware of the time, led you over to the door, opening it for you. Below, his Ferrari Competizione waited to take you to the dinner.
Charles didn’t know what he was expecting when he got there, but a standing ovation wasn’t one of them. You had to hold back more tears, as you didn’t want your makeup to be ruined. You stood with the halls of Monaco to honor Charles for his moment.
Pascale, Arthur, and Joris watched you as you kept clapping with the others. The three knew that you loved Charles probably more than you loved anything else in life. You two had been together for five years, going through the ups and downs together. It was hard, but your love strengthened with every hurdle.
When Charles got to sit back down as they started on the first course, you leaned over.
“So, are you going to be knighted or something now?”
Your question made him snort as he wiped his hands on his pants. It was probably nerves. He licked his lips, eyes flittering at the three who were watching on with hopeful eyes. In his mind, he knew that Antoine was waiting behind at a different table.
“I was hoping to be titled something else?”
You cocked your head. “Oh? What were you thinking?”
He didn’t answer, but his head moved to look at something on the table. Your eyes followed his line of sight to a small black box sitting in front of your plate.
Oh.
You whipped your head back to Charles, who had a hopeful smile on his face. Your hands rose to cover your mouth.
“You’re being serious?” you questioned, voice hitching with excitement. The small nod of his head made you want to squeal, but you kept in inside. Charles knew that you were a bit on the shyer side and probably didn’t want him to get down on one knee, so he gently reached over to grab the box. He turned to you and popped it open.
He grabbed the bottom of your chair and slid it next to him so that your shoulders were touching. He looked over, and it was his turn to have tears sliding down his cheeks.
“Mon coeur. Mon amour. Mon soleil. Mon vie. You are the best thing that I have in this world, and after today I know that no race win could ever compare to you. Please let me be happy for the rest of my life with you.”
This time, you let the tears fall as you nodded your head. “Yes.”
Charles let out a sigh of relief as he took the ring from the box and slid it on your finger. Small claps came from the three at the table, as to not bring attention to the sweet and intimate moment. You leaned over and placed a kiss on his lips and rested your forehead against his.
“Only if you’ll let me be happy for the rest of my life with you.”
Charles lost his voice, too deep in emotion and happiness to answer. So, a simple nod would have to make due.
Arthur decided to make a statement. “You both are going to get so wasted tonight.”
The table erupted with laughter, because you knew he was correct. Charles deserved a party, and that’s what he was going to get.
You at least had the smart thought process to keep your ring at the bottom of your purse that you carried in the club. Your hand clutched the handle, not letting anyone get near it in fear of having it be ripped out of your hand.
Pierre was one of the first to congratulate you and Charles. The Frenchman held the two of you in his arms as he whispered congratulations. He wasn’t the only driver that knew of Charles’s plan.
You smiled as your eyes caught Charles with the Monaco flag over his head. You had to pause your conversation with Max, jutting your head in the Monegasque’s direction.
“I better go get him.”
Max wiggled his eyebrows. “Wouldn’t want him to get into an inchident would we?”
You playfully bumped your shoulder against his as you walked in Charles’s direction. If you thought your boyfriend’s eyes were wide before, they found even more room to widen when he made eye contact with you.
Charles raised his arms up. “Mon ange! Everyone, it’s my fiancé! I’m getting married!”
You wanted to wince as you prayed that everyone either was too drunk to comprehend his screeching or that they couldn’t hear him over the sound of the bass.
You grabbed his arm and brought him closer. “I think it’s time to go home.”
He nodded immediately. “Oui, oui. We need to go make beuacoup de bebes!”
You flushed red under the lights of the club as Charles now dragged you along, Monegasque flag still over his head. Now you were really hoping that no one heard. You knew that he was joking though. However, when you got home, he might have been serious.
The bass of the club still rang in your ears as you stumbled through the door of your apartment, lips locked with Charles in a passionate kiss. He fumbles blindly for the light switch, finally bathing the entryway in a soft glow as you pull apart breathlessly.
“Mon belle,” Charles murmurs huskily, brushing a stray lock of hair from your face. His eyes are shining with a mix of exhilaration and adoration. “My amazing fiancé. The true winner today.”
You let out a breathless giggle, feeling giddy and invincible in the wake of his historic Monaco win. “I just stood on the sidelines and cheered. You’re the one who drove like a demon out there.”
“Couldn’t have done it without you,” he says fervently, capturing your lips again in a searing kiss. His hands roam hungrily over the curve of your waist, the soft swell of your hips, pulling you flush against him. You can feel the rumble of his groan against your mouth as your fingers tangle in his sweat-dampened curls.
“Bedroom,” you whimpered between heated kisses, already tugging at the buttons of his button up. “Now.”
Charles needed no further encouragement, sweeping you up into his arms in one fluid motion. You let out a squeal of surprise that quickly morphs into breathless laughter as he carries you down the hallway. Kicking open the bedroom door, he deposits you onto the luxuriously soft mattress before stretching out beside you, propped up on one elbow.
“You are so beautiful, mon chérie,” he husks, trailing a line of scorching kisses along your jawline. “My perfect girl.”
“And you’re an overachiever,” you tease, smoothing the crinkles from his furrowed brow with gentle fingers. “Winning your home race. Proposing at the principality dinner. What more could a you ever want?”
Charles let out a low chuckle, capturing your wandering hand and brushing his lips over your knuckles. “Just you. It’s always you.”
You felt your cheeks warming at his words, the sheer intensity of his forest-eyed gaze. Even after all this time, he still had a way of making you feel like the only girl in the world. Sliding one hand around the back of his neck, you pull him down for a long, smoldering kiss.
“I love you,” you whisper against his lips between heated caresses. “My champion. Mon fiancé.”
He lets out a low groan, deepening the kiss until you’re both dizzily breathless and straining against each other with a rising tide of desire. His clever fingers are already making quick work of the buttons on your dress, pushing the satiny fabric off your shoulders in one smooth motion.
You arch against him with a soft moan as his lips blaze a path over your collarbones, dancing lower to the hollow of your throat. Every brush of his mouth against your tingling skin has heat unfurling low in your belly.
“Off,” you demand impatiently, tugging at the stubborn zipper of his pants until he finally kicks off the sweat-dampened fabric. His skin is feverishly hot to the touch, the lean muscles of his back rippling under your stroking palms as he settles over you.
Another breathless giggle escapes your lips as he nuzzles along the sensitive curve of your neck, whispering a stream of endearments. “You are insatiable.”
“Only for you, mon coeur,” he rumbles, amusement dancing in the depths of those enchanting eyes as he props himself up on his forearms to gaze down at you adoringly. “My everything. Ma vie.”
His mouth covers yours again in a long, drugging kiss that has your toes curling against the soft sheets. You lose yourself in the velvet glide of his tongue, the addictive taste of him, the delicious weight of his body pinning you to the mattress. Every nerve ending feels electrified by his scorching touch, every brush of skin against skin lighting up new sparks of longing.
When you finally break apart to catch your breath, Charles presses his forehead to yours with a contented sigh. “What did I do to deserve you, mon ange?”
Cradling his face in your hands, you meet his intense gaze steadily. “You won my love. Every single ounce of it.”
His smile is radiant, lighting up the room more brilliantly than a thousand racing spotlights as he leans in to capture your lips again. This time the kiss is softer, more tender — a communion between two souls completely lost in each other. He let his hand trail up your forearm and settled in in your palm.
Your ring, that you had put back on in the car, felt cold against his fingers. He shivered at the feeling. You were his for the rest of his life.
You and he lost all track of time in that blissful tangle of limbs, trading fevered caresses and breathless whispers of adoration. When climax was finally reached between the two of you, you let yourself bask in the pants coming from yours and his lips.
Charles watched as you slightly winced as he pulled out, gently comforting you with sweet words. He quickly got up to grab a towel from the bathroom, wetting it with some water before going back to bed. Charles let his eyes gaze over your form, still coming down from the high.
When he didn’t make any moves to get closer, you turned your head and sleepily smiled at him, arms reaching out. It was only then that Charles walked back over to the bed. He quickly wiped you down, and then himself before grabbing the duvet at the edge of the bed.
You hummed lazily when the fluffy blanket was draped over your body. You scooted over and laid your head on his chest.
“Welcome home, Charles. You’re finally home. Je t’aime.”
Home, to him, would never be a place anymore. Because why would he need a place, when he could hold his home, his world, right in his arms.

INTERVIEW WITH GEORGE RUSSELL
INTERVIEWER: So, George, we’ve seen you have a visitor on the paddock today. Your sister, YN and her son, your nephew, have come to watch you race.
GEORGE: Yeah, they have! I’m super close with my sister so having her here is always amazing, especially when she brings my nephew, it makes the race extra special for me.
INTERVIEWER: Does your nephew have a favourite driver? Or is that place reserved for you?
GEORGE: *laughs* no, i don’t think that place is for me, he’s not really interested in the fact I race. He’s pretty young still to understand who his favourite driver is yet but he always seems to clap when Alonso comes onto the screen so i’m going to take a wild guess and say its him!
INTERVIEWER: Will he have the chance to meet Alonso today, or will he be staying at the Mercedes garage?
GEORGE: Knowing my sister, she will be taking him wherever he wants to go, so it is most likely they will end up in the Aston Martin garage.
━━━━━━ ༻𖥸༺ ━━━━━━
The sun was shining brightly as Y/N held Axel’s tiny hand, leading him through the bustling paddock. The air was electric with excitement, the roar of engines in the background making her son’s eyes widen with awe. Today was a special day. Uncle George was racing, and Y/N had promised Axel that they would watch him together. But Axel had other ideas.
“Mama, see Nando?” Axel asked, his big blue eyes sparkling with hope.
Y/N smiled down at her son, her heart melting at his innocence. “We’ll see, darling. Fernando is very busy getting ready for the race, just like Uncle George. But we’ll try, okay?”
Axel nodded enthusiastically, his little feet practically skipping as they made their way to the Aston Martin garage. Y/N’s heart raced a little faster too. Fernando Alonso was a legend, and even she felt a bit starstruck at the thought of possibly meeting him.
They approached the garage, the vibrant green and black of the Aston Martin team standing out against the sea of colors in the paddock. Y/N spoke to a friendly team member, explaining Axel’s wish and who she had come to the race with.
“We can’t promise anything, but let’s see what we can do,” the team member said with a kind smile.
As they waited, Axel’s excitement was palpable. He clutched his miniature Alonso cap tightly, his eyes darting around in hopes of catching a glimpse of his hero. Y/N knelt down beside him, brushing a stray curl from his forehead.
“Remember, Axel, even if we don’t get to meet him, we’re going to have a great time watching uncle George and uncle Alex race,” she reminded him gently.
But luck seemed to be on their side today. After a few moments, Fernando Alonso himself walked over, a broad smile on his face. Y/N’s breath caught in her throat. Here he was, the man she’d watched on TV for years, now standing right in front of them.
“Hello there, little man,” Fernando said, his voice warm and friendly as he crouched down to Axel’s level. “I hear you’re a big fan.”
Axel’s eyes widened in pure delight, “Nando, I’m Axel!”
“Nice to meet you, Axel,” Fernando replied, shaking his tiny hand. Then he looked up at Y/N, his eyes twinkling. “And you must be George’s sister, YN, i’m Fernando, i’ve heard a lot about you from everyone.”
“Y-yes, I’m Y/N,” she stammered, feeling a blush rise to her cheeks. “Thank you so much for taking the time to meet us.”
Fernando smiled warmly. “It’s my pleasure. Would you like to see the car up close, Axel?”
Axel’s face lit up with excitement, and Fernando led them to the car. Y/N watched, her heart swelling with gratitude and admiration, as Fernando lifted Axel and carefully placed him in the cockpit. Axel’s giggles of delight were like music to her ears.
As Axel explored the buttons and steering wheel with wide-eyed wonder, Fernando turned to Y/N. “He’s a great kid. You must be very proud.”
“I am,” she said softly, watching her son with love. “This means the world to him. And to me.”
Y/N couldn’t believe how lovely and down-to-earth Fernando was. She found herself completely starstruck, not just by his talent but by his kindness. Y/N had met many racers through her years of watching her brother race, but today was the first time meeting Fernando, and he was so unlike the rest.
After a few minutes, Fernando gently lifted Axel out of the car and handed him back to Y/N. “Good luck charm,” he said with a wink. “I’ll race even faster today knowing Axel is cheering me on. And maybe i’ll win if i have the luck of getting your number?” He said, as Y/N laughed at the cheesiness of his pickup line.
“Do you use that with every woman that comes into the garage?” YN joked, not thinking he was serious, but from the look on his face, she could tell he wasn’t making a joke of her. “Never,” he smiled slightly, as Y/N swallowed.
Y/N hadn’t dated since becoming pregnant with her son, and she hadn’t thought she would date again. Raising a child was hard, and it was harder when there were other people involved, so she hadn’t gone on dates, given her number out, she had focused on Axel.
“You want my number?” y/n asked, dumbfounded, not quite understanding what she was hearing. Fernando gave a chuckle at the look on your face.
“Of course, who wouldn’t from a beautiful woman like yourself?”
YN became flustered as she struggled to get her phone out of her back pocket, not fully understanding how she had gone from visiting her son’s favourite driver to him asking her for her number.
Exchanging numbers, Axel stayed by Fernando’s side practically holding onto the drivers leg for dear life. Y/N apologised, reaching to grab her son and place him on her hip, but Fernando waved her off, reaching for Axel instead, giving him a hug goodbye before he went off to race.
“What do you say if I do well today, I take you and your mummy out for food sometime?” Fernando asked Axel, looking at Y/N out of the corner of his eye. Axel’s mouth fell open, he was young, but he knew that Fernando meant spending more time together, and for that he gave a squeal, wanting to spend more time with ‘Nando.
“I guess you’ll have to do well today then,” Y/N smiled, as Fernando smiled back at her.
“I guess I will.”

Set The World On Fire
Chapter Sixteen
Lando Norris had been incredibly angry when they met. Incredibly angry, but sweet enough to help her. Turns out he just needed somebody to talk to, somebody to be there for him.
He was easy to fall for, and that put her in a world of danger

Light filled the room from the curtains they'd forgotten to close the night before. Lando's eyes opened, but he just let out a groan and pulled her closer, pressing his face into the crook of her neck.
But she stayed asleep, and Lando was grateful. He pulled away from his neck to just look at her. Admire her. Admire the way her eyelashes kissed her skin, the deep, almost snoring breaths she pulled in as she dreamed. She'd fallen asleep with Lando's arm around her, splayed hand settling over her stomach. Her fingers laced through her own, and she refused to let go.
God, he was in heaven, and he never wanted to leave.
Gently untangling from her grip, he pulled his body away from her own and grabbed his phone, turning off his alarm before it had the chance to wake her up. He tried to be quiet as he pulled a suit jacket, white shirt, and trousers from the wardrobe.
Lando tiptoed out of the room. He headed into the bathroom across the hall and quickly got himself dressed. His hair was untameable curls that he didn't bother trying to fix. No, she could run her hands through them, try and do what she could before he left.
As Lando left the bathroom, top two buttons of his white shirt undone and his suit jacket over his arm, he checked his schedule on his phone. He'd left Will to arrange his day for him, but both men knew it would be a miracle if Lando stuck to it.
Walking into the kitchen, he draped his jacket over the back of a chair and searched through the cupboard for her mug.
Her first morning at the house, Lando had made her a coffee in this one mug. It had originally been his sisters, green with little brown and white rabbits on it. She hadn't used another mug since.
Pulling it from the cupboard, Lando placed it under the coffee machine. He pressed the buttons (something he hadn't had to do before she arrived) and waited for the cup to fill up. It rumbled to life, slowly filling the mug.
Impatiently, Lando checked his watch. He wasn't impatient to leave, to be on his way. No, he was impatient to return to her, fresh mug of coffee in his hands.
The coffee machine had barely stopped when he pulled the mug from beneath it. Leaving his suit jacket draped over the back of the chair, he walked through the house, heading up to his bedroom. Their bedroom.
His girl was still sleeping when he walked into the bedroom. Lando placed the mug of coffee onto the bedside table and ran his hands through his hair, pushing it away from her forehead. "Wake up, baby," he whispered as he sat down.
Squeezing her eyes shut, she curled her body around his own, grabbed his hand and pulled him in. A breathy laugh left his lips and he allowed himself to be pulled on top of her. "Come back to bed," she mumbled, eyes barely opening.
He kissed her. Lando pressed his lips to her own, hands cupping her cheeks. "I've got to go," he said, lips still pressed to her own.
Hands holding the back of his neck, she kept him there. "When are you gonna be back?" She asked, voice quiet as she reached up to run her hands through his curls.
Lando kissed her again. "Not long," he said when he pulled away. He grabbed the mug from the table and handed it to her. "If you wanna go anywhere today, let Max know and he'll go with you."
She took the mug and breathed in the scent of coffee. "I will, Lan," she replied, placing her hand on top of his own. "Stay safe?"
"For you, always." Leaning in, he kissed her head and walked out of the bedroom. No goodbyes, never goodbyes. Especially not now she knew who Lando was, what he did.
Settling back against the cushions, she sipped her coffee as Lando left the house. She looked around the room. Since she'd moved in, Lando had taken down some of his posters, was making a move to make the room 'more grownup'. It wasn't something she had asked him to do, but he was determined.
She finished her coffee and got herself dressed. A yawn was pulled from her lips as she looked out of the window, looked across the grounds. She'd been out there once, sat on the decking with Lando. In his lap, actually, his lips attached to her neck as he sat, nestled inside of her.
Holding her empty mug, she headed down to the kitchen. Lando had gone already. She'd heard the front door shut as he left, but she couldn't help but miss him already.
"Morning," said Max Fewtrell, the man she knew to be Lando's oldest friend, as he poured his milk into his cereal.
"Hey, Max," she said as she took her mug over to the sink. "D'you think we could head to my apartment today?"
Max thought about it. He didn't voice what he was thinking, that they had cleaning staff to do jobs like the washing up and she didn't have to do it herself. Instead he said, "Would Lando be okay with that?"
She leaned against the counter, arms folded over her chest. She looked down at her jumper, one of the oversized ones Lando rarely got to work now that he was the head of the family. "Have you got anything better to do today?"
Letting out a breath, Max checked his watch. "You've got me for three hours," he said and continued eating his cereal.
Three hours. As she ate her breakfast, she made a mental list of everything she needed. Clothes, books, her laptop, and the things she needed for work.
Work. God, she hadn't been in since she moved into the house. Her boss had been fuming when she'd called, but Lando had pried her phone from her hands and spoken to him for her. As soon as he was done, she was given as much time off as she needed.
But she was getting a little stir crazy, stuck in this house with him. She loved him, and the house was amazing, but she needed to get out. Outside of the house, outside of the walls. She even mossed her shitty job, something she never thought would be possible.
Before they set off to her apartment, Max disappeared further into the house. It was only for a few minutes, while she pulled her shoes onto her feet.
"Here," he said, walking back over. A gun was tucked into waistband and he held a butterfly knife out towards her.
She took it from between his fingers. "What's this for?"
Max shrugged his shoulders. "Just in case," he said and grabbed a hold of his keys.
He drove them to the apartment. The radio played softly, filling the empty space between them as she pulled out her phone to text Lando. He didn't respond, but that was okay. She knew he was busy today.
"If this goes well, think we can get some lunch?"
Max's jaw was set as he pulled up outside of the apartment. "You're really trying to get LN to maim me, aren't you?" He muttered and pushed open the car door.
No matter how mad he looked, she knew it wasn't real. Since she moved in she'd gotten to know Max, had spent several nights sitting on the sofa with him and Lando, consuming a movie (of usually Max's choice). They weren't quite at the point of friends, yet, but that was coming.
Max kept one hand on his gun as he followed her up the stairs. When they got to her door, Max pulled his gun out and opened it for her. He walked in first, gun raised as he surveyed the room.
The kitchen and living room were clear, but Max didn't say that. "You got your knife?" He asked as he started towards the bedroom.
She pulled the butterfly knife from her pocket, her grip on it tight as she followed Max into the bedroom. But it was clear. Her entire apartment was clear.
It was only when Max lowered his gun that she relaxed. "Go on," he said and walked over to the window. "Pack your shit."
She did just that, shoving her clothes and shoes into bags. She grabbed a few books, just her favourites, and shoved them into her bags, too. Everything else in her apartment she had for sentimental reasons. They weren't necessities, though.
Grabbing a picture of her parents, she zipped up her bag and slung one over her shoulder. Max grabbed the other in his free hand. He looked around the room, still full of so much stuff. "Is this everything?" He asked, unable to hide the scepticism in his voice.
She nodded her head and he led the way out of the apartment. "You know, Lando can get people to help empty this place out for you," he said as he started down the stairs.
A sad sort of hum left her lips as she followed him. She'd loved that apartment, had made it her own, and part of her didn't want to leave. But a bigger part of her saw the bigger picture.
At the car, Max threw her bags into the boot and closed it. A sigh left his lips and he checked his watch again. "Lunch?" He asked.
That sad smile was wiped from her lips as she climbed into the car and Max drove her away, taking her to get lunch. The day was nice, there was no better way to describe it. Max told her stories from his and Lando's childhood as they ate. They were hilarious, had her giggling into her greasy, shitty burger. (It may have been greasy and shitty, but she loved it).
When lunch was done, Max checked his watch once again. He rushed her into the car and drove her back to the house. She carried her own bags as Max drove his car to the garage, and walked up the steps, pushing her way into the house.
Part of her had hoped the Lando was back already. But it wasn't possible; she and Max had only been gone for a couple of hours, not long enough for Lando to fly to the Netherlands and back.
So, she set about unpacking her things in the room they shared. She filled Lando's wardrobe and drawers, and placed the picture of her parents on her bedside table.
It started raining as she placed her books on the bedside table. She took a moment to watch as the rain fell on the grass outside. It was beautiful when it rained, but the garden needed something. Flowers, a vegetable patch, some furniture or something.
The door opened, but she thought nothing of it as she walked out of the room and headed downstairs to get something to drink. There was muttering that she didn't much pay attention to as she headed down the stairs.
But then she saw him. There he was looking, looking much the same as he did that morning. But that didn't stop her from running towards him and jumping into his arms. "Hi, baby," he whispered and pressed his lips to her eyes.
"Hi, stinky."
He put her down and turned her to face the other person in the foyer. "Baby, I want you to meet my sister." His heavily pregnant sister.
a/n: so the sister mentioned here is our dear reader from NNTA. Or, as Bianca and I like to refer to her, pretty little wife (plw)

you're the risk, i'm gonna take it

The air at the charity gala was thick with anticipation and the soft murmur of high society mingling. The grand ballroom sparkled with chandeliers, and the scent of roses hung in the air.
You, draped in a stunning red gown that hugged your curves perfectly, walked in with your head held high.
It was all a ruse, of course. A ruse brought up just for your ex.
It had been three months since you and Charles had parted ways, and you were determined to show him you were doing just fine. Especially since he was already out there with a new girl in his arms.
It was a fatal blow the very first time they were caught at the paddock together. She was one of his old friends that you were always pretty insecure about and to see her with him when you were sure that in a month’s time you and Charles were going to get back together?
It made you want to vomit all over the posh expensive carpet laid under your feet.
You spotted him almost immediately, it was like his head was sticking out just to catch you off guard. Charles stood near the bar, his dark hair perfectly styled, and his tailored suit accentuating his broad shoulders.
It made your heart ache and suddenly the carpet wasn’t too good to be puked upon.
He laughed at something and your eyes shifted to the blonde woman beside him. It was still a fresh wound, your breakup, and despite knowing what awaited you, it was hard to maintain a composure for face sake.
That was when you realized that seeing him with someone else was always gonna make you yearn. He was never supposed to be not yours.
”Y/N, hey!” A voice broke your reverie. A smile broke on your face as Lando’s eyes roved over you appreciatively. ”You look hot.”
”Thanks, Lan,” you replied, giving his cheek a soft kiss. You linked your arm through his, grateful for the distraction. ”Let's get something to drink, yeah?”
As you walked deeper into the crowd, you were oblivious to Charles's gaze burning into your back.
You didn't dare turn around, the possibility of disappointment too intense to play a game of chance. You chatted animatedly with Lando, laughing at his jokes and subtly touching his arm.
It was when he leaned in to whisper and you faced the other away that you looked at your ex. Who stood out like a sore thumb, but this time, his eyes were trained on you and his hands were no more on the girl.
Knowing that Charles was watching made a different kind of fire ignite in you, you wanted to make him feel every bit of the jealousy that had gnawed at you for weeks. It was a huge risk, getting your heart broken again. But to hell with it, two can play this game anyway.
Minutes turned into an hour, and every time you glanced in Charles's direction, you found him watching you, his jaw clenched and eyes dark.
His ‘girlfriend’ beside him seemed to be losing his attention, her presence fading into the background as his focus remained fixed on you and Lando.
Lando, suspiciously playing the role of a perfect gentleman, leaned closer again. ”Are you okay, Y/N? You seem... distracted.” His eyes glanced at Charles as he nodded at your ex’ direction.
”I'm fine,” you lied, your eyes flickering back to Charles. He didn’t even acknowledge your date greeting him. That made your stomach drop, but in excitement this instance.
”Still hung up on him, huh?” Lando’s tone was gentle but knowing.
”No, silly, I’m all moved on,” you replied, tilting your chin defiantly and rolling your eyes. ”It was only a year or three right?”
Lando sighed. ”You know, this is a dangerous little gamble. But if it helps...” He pulled you closer, your faces inches apart. ”I'll play along.” He was so close, chest to chest with you and you smirked.
Before you could respond with your own witty accomplice, Lando kissed you softly, his lips warm and soft. It made you feel tingly all over. He didn’t even linger for more than a second, it was more of a peck really. But fuck if you weren’t touch starved.
It didn’t feel right though. It wasn't the same as with Charles, but it served its purpose. When you pulled away, Charles was no longer at the bar. You felt Lando squeeze your hand once before he dragged you to the corner and excused himself to get a drink.
A shiver ran down your spine, a mix of triumph and fear. Everyone saw that and you were alone for the first time all evening. You scanned the room, looking for a familiar face. The ballroom suddenly felt too crowded, the air too thick.
Then you felt a hand on your arm, firm and demanding. You turned to find Charles standing there, his expression a storm of emotions with furrowed brows, narrowed eyes, flared nostrils and a forced smile courting his face.
”Y/N,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. ”We need to talk. Now.”
Lando was back beside you in a second and started to protest,”Mate—” Charles shot him a look that could have melted steel.
”This is between us,” he growled, dragging you away. You barely had time to process before you were pulled away. You looked back and scoffed when you saw Lando shoot you a wink.
A few seconds later you were in a secluded hallway, the noise of the gala muffled by the heavy doors.
What do you think you're doing?” you hissed, yanking your arm free. ”You can't just—”
”Me?!” Charles suddenly screamed, cutting you off as he turned around and pushed your back against the wall.
”Do you think I'm blind?” He continued, his eyes blazing. ”Parading around with him, trying to make me jealous?”
”Why should you care?” you shot back, your own anger rising. It was embarrassing that he saw right through you. ”You have your new little blonde, don't you?”
Charles stepped closer, he backed you further against the wall and his presence was overwhelming. ”What is that supposed to mean?” His voice was a harsh whisper. ”Do you think she means anything to me?”
”Doesn’t she?” your voice wavered, the vulnerability slipping through your anger. It killed you to see him with her for three months and he couldn’t even take it for a few hours?
”No, she doesn’t.” He declared as his jaw tightened further. ”But you... seeing you with him… ” He ran a hand through his hair, frustration evident. ”You have no idea what that does to me.”
”Maybe I do,” you replied, your voice softer now. ”Let’s hear it, Charles. What did that do to you? Couldn’t be worse than if I were to kiss him for three months straight and force you to watc—”
He grabbed you by the shoulders, his grip firm yet tentative, as if he couldn’t even fathom the thought of hurting you,”You want to know how I feel? Fine. I can't stand seeing you with anyone else.” He sounded so broken that it brought tears to your own eyes.
”I can't think straight. All I see is you, every moment. It's driving me mad.” Charles rambled on as he drew in shallow breaths, evidently struggling for air.
”Charles...” Your resolve was crumbling. ”You can’t say that. I thought we were just taking a break and a week later you were all moved on? You don’t deserve to feel bad now”
”She’s not.. We never...” His eyes softened, the anger giving way to raw emotion as he brushed a tear away from your face. ”I thought it was for the best. I thought you'd be happier without me. We were arguing so much and then you said that you were unhappy and it made me want to die.”
You searched his eyes, looking for the truth. ”And now?”
”And now,” he said, his voice breaking, ”Here we are.”
Before you could respond, his lips crashed onto yours, the kiss desperate and full of the longing you had both been suppressing. You melted into him, your arms wrapping around his neck as he pulled you closer.
The hallway seemed to spin around you, the world narrowing to just the two of you. Charles broke the kiss, his breath ragged. ”Tell me you feel the same,” he pleaded. ”Tell me you want this. Me.”
More tears fell down your eyes as you nodded. ”I never stopped wanting you, Charles.”
A strangled sound escaped his throat as he captured your lips again, this time with a fierce, possessive hunger. His hands roamed your back, pulling you tightly against him. You responded with equal fervor, your fingers tangling in his hair.
Your need for each other was palpable, a wildfire that had been waiting to ignite. Charles's kisses trailed down your neck, his teeth grazing your skin and eliciting a gasp from your lips. You tugged at his jacket, desperate to feel more of him.
”You look so gorgeous” he murmured against your collarbone, his breath hot and teasing. Your breath hitched softly as he sucked at your neck. “Here?”
”Yes,” you whispered, your voice trembling with desire. ”Here. Now.”
Charles didn't need any more encouragement. He pressed you further against the wall, if that were even remotely possible. His hands slipping under your dress, caressing your thighs and lifting you just enough for your legs to wrap around his waist.
The feel of his hardness pressing against your core sent shivers of anticipation through your body. It was familiar. He was your everything and you felt right at home as you cried tears of frustration out.
Charles kissed your tears away while he held onto your face, caressing the side of your cheekbone with his thumb as a soft sigh escaped your lips.  ”You have ruined me.” He whispered, groaning as he pressed himself harder against you.
With one swift motion, he freed himself from his trousers, his fingers working quickly to get you ready when he scoffed to find you bare underneath the dress. ”I swear to god, if you tell me that you planned to take Lando bac—”
You shook your head and leaned forward to peck his lips. He looked into your eyes, seeking one last confirmation. You answered with another kiss, your tongue dancing with his, your body arching into him.
The first thrust was slow, almost agonizing in its intensity. You both gasped, the sensation overwhelming you as a low groan parted from his lips. Soon enough, Charles set a rhythm, each movement deep and deliberate, making you feel every inch of him.
”Mine,” he panted into your ear, his pace quickening. ”You're mine, Y/N.”
”Yes,” you gasped, your nails digging into his shoulders. ”Always— yours, Charles.”
Your bodies moved together as he held you tightly, aching and desperate for the release you’d both been deprived of. He picked up the pace, his hips slamming against yours with an animalistic need you couldn’t resist.
With each thrust, each kiss, you rediscovered the connection that had never truly been broken. The world outside ceased to exist, leaving only the two of you, lost in each other as he pushed you closer to the edge.
You bit his ear, the action alone causing Charles’s grip to tighten, his movements becoming frantic as he thrust into you harder, faster.
You felt yourself nearing the edge, your trembling thighs tightening around his hips when you felt his hand sneak between your legs, towards where you were connected, your breaths coming in ragged gasps.
You clung to him, your entire being focused on the pleasure coursing through you.
”Let it go, darling,” he commanded, his voice rough with need. ”Be a good girl for me.”
The words pushed you over the edge. You cried out his name, your body shuddering with release. Charles followed moments later, his own climax crashing through him with a force that left you both trembling.
For a long moment, you stayed entwined, your foreheads resting against each other, your breaths mingling. The hallway was silent except for the sound of your breathing, the intensity of what had just happened settling over you.
Charles finally pulled back slightly, his eyes searching yours for the affection he thought he’d lost. ”I love you,” he said, his voice hoarse and you winced when his tears dropped down your face as he kissed your forehead. ”I never stopped.”
Your own tears spilled over as your knuckles tightened against his wrinkled shirt. ”Okay.”
You knew he wanted to hear it, but it was too soon, too soon to just flush down the feelings you had to suffer through for the past few months. Too soon to forgive him for the pain he’d caused.
Charles nodded in understanding. He could see the adoration you still held as you latched onto his arm, clinging to him with a white knuckle dying grip as if you were afraid to let go.
He kissed you softly, a promise of the future you would build together.
And in that moment, surrounded by the echoes of your passion, being in his embrace, you knew that you had found your way back. That despite everything that had happened, he still loved you, and you wanted nothing more than to be in his arms.
After all, he was the only risk, the only what if, you were always gonna leap into head first.

His Girl.
Part 1
Summary: Lando loves his rich, girl boss, girl. Though he doesn't really know what she really does underneath. Until he does.
or
In which Lando finds out his girlfriend is not who she said she was.
Side note: I'm using names for reader, and spelling and grammar errors. I've had this in my head for a while and while I write on Wattpad normally, I'm taking a brake because of some nasty things said to me about my writing.

2020
Lando was on another high from another podium that weekend in Australia. He was at the bar ordering another drink, when he looked across the bar, he saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life.
She was wearing a short black dress. Her makeup and hair were just right, and she was wearing a silver chain necklace. She was sipping a Vodka Cruiser. Not a care in the world.
He thanks the bartender and makes his way over to her. He sat down bedside her. She didn't even give him a glance.
"Not interested." She spoke. And God Lando fell in love her voice. It was British. But her voice was so soft.
Lando clocked an eyebrow, "I didn't even say anything." He chuckled.
She sighed and turned to look at him. "You were going to hit on me and hoped I would end up in your bed by the end of the night. No?" She bluntly spoke with her eye raised.
Lando just stared at her in aww. Because maybe that was the case but not now. He could tell she was interesting person already. There was a spark in her eyes, of mystery and fun. She interested him very much. "Okay maybe your right." He smirked at her. "But how about I just buy you another drink?" He asked.
She wouldn't say it out loud, but he was handsome. "Fine." She sighed and Lando flagged down the bartender. The bartender gave her a nod as he left to get her drink.
"So, what's your name, love?" He asked turning his seat to face her.
She copied him. He was interesting. Mostly when she said no, the guy would walk away or start being aggressive. But not him. "Bonnie." She smiled.
"No last name?" He asked with a curious look. He watched as she brushed her black hair out her face and smiled at him.
"Salvatore." She reposed with a small smile. "Yours mystery man?" She asked taking a sip of her drink.
"Lando. Lando Norris." He spoke. He watched as she studied him.
"The formal one race driver?" She asked, already knowing the answer.
Lando nodded, taking a sip of his drink. "Did you watch the race?" he couldn't but ask.
Bonnie shook her head, "Oh no, my father loved F1." She smiled. She loved her father and talking about wasn't a sad thing. Despite the life they lived.
"Oh sorry."
"No, it's okay. It was a long time ago." She reassured him with a hand on his hand. "But he was a Ferrari fan." She teased knowing he is a McLaren driver.
"Oh." He teased placing his hand on his heart. "Not Ferrari." They both laughed. Bonnie's hand was till on his and Lando started cresting without knowing. "Who's your favorite team?" He couldn't help but ask.
Bonnie smirked, "Red Bull." She told and watched with a beaming smile as he fakes a hurt look.
"Now that hurts. Right here." He spoke in fake sadness as he pointed to his heart. They both giggled with each other. "I'll get you to change your team at the end of the night." He boldly told her.
Bonnie shook her head with a smile. "Tell me something about you. No race talk. I can tell you don't want to talk about it." She said to him.
Lando chuckled, that was right he didn't want to talk about his driving right now. He wanted to know this girl right in front of him.
"I hate sea food." He told her and couldn't help but wrinklie his noes up at the thought of it.
Bonnie chuckled. She liked it. Not her favorite but she could have in curtain things. "Really. Why?" She rested her elbow on the bar and her chin rested in her hand to look at him.
Lando shook his head, "Just don't. Don't like the texture." He explained. "Do you?"
She hummed. "I can have it in curtain things, But not all the time." She told him and took a sip of her drink.
"Tell me something about yourself." Lando spoke as he watched her.
"I can speak Five languages." She smirked and watched his eyes widen.
"Wow. What are they?'
"Dunch, French, Russian, Latin and Japanese." She smiled
Lando leaned back in aww. "Wow I can't even learn a new language. Never mind five." He spoke impressed. She kept getting better to him.
She was everything he ever wanted in a girl. And not in a cocky way. in a more, he has found the one for him way. She was witty and he could just tell that she would be fun to have around.
Bonnie shrugged, "I was a homeschooled kid. My father was traveling everywhere, and I guess I just picked it up." She told him.
"You might need to come with me to my racers, you can be my spokesperson." He teased. Bonnie chuckled.
"Let's not get ahead of our self-Mr. Norris." She teased with a smirk. Their hands were still together.
Lando giggled with her. He watched in aww as she giggled. "Your very beautiful." He couldn't help but blurt out.
Bonnie blushed. She never blushed. She looked down and when she looked up Lando was smiling at her. Not smirking at her, like he was happy with his comment. No, he smiles like he was admiring her and her beauty.
And he was.
"You're not bad." She shot back with a smile. And it widened as she saw him blush.
They both sat there with blushing cheeks. That night they talked all night. They had found themselves at ease with each other. It was easy to just talk and not be judged.
Bonnie couldn't help but be attracted to him. And not just by his looks but by how he talked about his family. His hobbies and generally. He was the life of the party but deep inside there was a whole different side to him.
Lando was in love by the end of the night. He had found she was a businesswoman, running her own company and traveled for work. He had found her easy to talk to. He had found she had a poodle dog and loved him more than anything.
That night they had formed a connection that would make and break them. For better and for worse.
But no matter the outcome maybe love can overcome it all. After all, if you love someone you love all of them or not at all.

Main Masterlist Lando Masterlist
Pairing: Olympic Figure skater!female oc(Iclyn;Lyn) x Lando Norris
Warnings: Fluffy, Established relationship
Summary: She's a gold medalist for the British Figure Skating team. They had been friends before they dated; they started dating when they were 16; many would say they're stupid for never breaking up, not when he started racing full-time, not when she went to college and made the Olympic team. Not when he moved to Monaco, where she followed, always flying back and forth; on off seasons, she traveled with him, and he made it to every competition he could. Not many know the intensity of their relationship at all.
Requested: NO / yes
Tumblr media
Icelyn had sat in front of Lando in the hotel room in Canada for his race this weekend. He was braiding her hair over and over again. Lando would start a braid then undo it only to redo it differently.
It was just a way to pass the time as they waited for something. Also, it gave Lando something to do with his hands that wasn't fiddling with something.
"Lando."
"Yeah, baby," Lando answered.
"Could I take you skating this winter? You make a video out of it," Lyn says as her eyes slip close a little from Lando running his fingers through her hair.
"You just want to see me embarrass myself," Lando says momentarily, stopping his movements and earning a whine from the woman in front of him.
"No, I just want to teach you, but I guess also that. You can handle g-force. Surely you can handle skates," Lyn says as she leans back, allowing Lando to wrap his arms around her shoulders, holding her against him.
"How about if you win another medal, I'll let you put me on skates," Lando says, kissing her temple after he does.
Lyn nods and cuddles closer to Lando, "Sleep."
Lando chuckles at her, "It's two in the afternoon."
"So?" She questions in return as she shifts to be able to get closer.
Lando chuckles and holds her closer still.
Tumblr media
There was a period of grace between her ability to get another medal, and in that time, Lando won more races and won the championship in 2025, hoping for the same results in 2026.
But his fiancee, Lyn, is currently face tracking it to another gold medal win for her and the British team.
"And the gold medal goes to... Iclyn Lumi!"
Lyn almost collapses before she makes her way to the 1st place podium on the ice.
She stands on the podium and gets her medal. The two in 2nd and 3rd place congratulate her on the win.
While she's won before, it never feels completely different. It's the same joy, just not the same as the first time.
What's one more medal in her collection? What makes this win all the better is the chance to finally make her fiance get on the ice.
Lyn smiled so widely that she could not stop the tears from running down her face as she got off the ice.
Lyn had been looking forward for over a year to get her fiance on the ice.
When she does, she can't help but ask to turn it into a video and now she's not the only one laughing at her fiance trying to skate.
"Next medal, it can be anything but skating," Lando tells her, because what's just one more going to do?

sypnosis: with the second grand prix of the season well on its way, there is a lot at stake. not only with the race, but other matters as well.
Tumblr media
darkness creeps into the motorhome, the lights of the team motorhomes and paddocks illuminating the space. all around you, everything was brushed with a soft white glow.
his fingers remain under your chin, forcing you to maintain eye contact. in the dim light, you can barely make out the glint swimming in his depths. what was it? desperation? anticipation? you weren’t sure.
toto was a complex man. you were well aware of that.
˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧˖⁺‧₊˚♡
there were days where you would see him glowering around the mercedes paddock, engaged in heated exchanges with engineers. there were moments where you would watch a glimpse of his radiant grin, dimples and all, as mercedes would successfully place or land a podium. of course you had heard the stories about him and his outbursts. his mood seemed to change in a matter of seconds, especially these days.
well, could you really blame him?
mercedes had dominated the world of formula one for so long. with lewis hamilton earning eight world championships, breaking barriers and records along the way, mercedes was the top team. it was a team many drivers dreamed of racing for. when you entered the world of formula one, you could barely get one foot in without hearing the word mercedes or the name lewis hamilton.
that was until redbull had entered the picture in 2022.
now, they were struggling to even maintain second place. hell, there were some races where the team would barely make finish without crashing a car. or suffering from a malfunction.
mercedes was no longer the team. they were on the same level to ferrari and mclaren, fighting tooth and nail for those second and third spots on the podiums.
additionally, you couldn’t help but face the glaring facts. lewis hamilton was leaving mercedes once the 2024 season was complete. their integral driver, the one who had earned them their reputation, their titles, was making an exit.
was there something behind that? something more than the speculations and gossip?
however, you squeeze your eyes shut, sucking in a shaky breath.
“why do you want me on mercedes? these days i feel more like a liability to my team than an asset. i’m sure you just saw the spectacle in the press room.”
“because you’re an inspiration,” the notes in his tone are gentle, “you have inspired so many women to pursue their passions in the world of formula one. not just in terms of racing, but for mechanics, engineers, journalists. you have encouraged so many people to do what they love. you are confident. you know your talents and you utilize them. you have so much fucking potential and it makes me so irrationally angry that james does not see that.”
brows furrowing, your hand grasps toto’s wrist, pulling it away from your face, “does this have something to do with james? it’s common knowledge that you like to hold grudges, toto.”
the principal coughs slightly, “that may have something to do with it.”
“then my answer is no,” venom oozes out of your words, “i’m not some pawn to be used as a ‘fuck you’ to james for leaving mercedes. i’m not taking any part in that. i’m going to need you to leave.”
“that’s fine,” toto nods, responding coolly, “i figured you’d react this way. you are extremely close with james.”
“well no shit,” you mutter, pointing towards the door, “mr. wolff, i am going to ask you kindly once again. please leave.”
“i will,” placing a hand on your shoulder, toto locks eyes with you once more, “think about my deal, little dove. in the meantime, i’ll be waiting.”
“waiting for what?”
“if you’ll accept my deal,” his thumb massages along your collarbone, “you didn’t say yes, but you didn’t say no. i can tell you’re considering it.”
“you’re stubborn,” you retaliate, yet the pressure along your collarbone is relieving, the sore muscles relaxing, “they weren’t wrong about that.”
“i am quite the stubborn man, schatz,” toto can sense your exterior crumbling as his hand glides towards your shoulder blade, massaging gently.
“i know you’re manipulating me with your extremely good looks and nice hands.”
“and yet,” toto’s voice is low and he leans in, mouth hovering by your ear, “you’re falling for it.”
“are you flirting with me, toto wolff?”
“maybe i am,” his breath fans against your ear as his hand delves lower, fingertips brushing along your ribcage, “it seems to be working. look at you, nearly crumpling to your knees at my touch. how long has it been since a man has touched you like this, schatz?”
it takes everything in you not to let out a groan as his hand rests on the small of your back, “y-you need to leave.”
“i will this time,” he murmurs, “but consider my offer, little dove.”
a vibration on the countertop interrupts the principal. snapping out of your trance, you pluck your phone, the illuminated screen notifying you that you had a couple of missed calls, and numerous text messages.
one particularly caught your eye.
it was daniel.
i’m going to be on my way in five. i hope you’re okay. i know you probably don’t want to talk about the press conference very much, but we can just cuddle or something.
“oh fuck.”
toto towers over you, eyes scanning over your phone, “i take it that is my cue to leave.”
“your cue to leave was fifteen minutes ago,” your tone is dry, yet he cracks a smile.
“i hope you know i’m going to keep pestering you until you give me an answer. have a good night, little dove. i’ll see you around, yeah?”
“sure,” you respond. placing two hands on his back, you give him a small push, “you need to go before daniel thinks something weird is going on.”
“is he your boyfriend or something?” toto obliges to your action, the austrian beginning to stroll towards the door of the motorhome.
for him, the exit was merely a few strides. but fuck, was he sticking around. daniel was going to be there in a matter of seconds. who knew what would happen if they happened to cross paths.
similar to toto, daniel was not one to let things go.
“no!” you snap, “leaaaavveee!”
“fine, fine,” toto huffs, “think about my offer, schatz. i will see you around.”
as the principal slides out of the door, you bring a hand to your temple, massaging it.
what the actual fuck just happened?
seconds later, a series of knocks breaks the silence.
“come in!”
daniel peeks his head in, concern painting his features as he notices your state, “why are you still in your suit?”
shrugging you point to your phone, “i was in the middle of an intense phone call when you texted.”
“ah,” he opens the door, a bottle of wine in one hand, a bag in the other, “i brought food, if that’s all right? i figured you would need some after that prick grilled you in the press room.”
“can we talk about something else?” you groan, crossing over to the couch. you flop on it dramatically, earning a laugh from daniel.
“we could talk about how max adores you. i think kelly has some competition.”
“i wouldn’t say that,” you lift your head up, fighting a smile as daniel pulls a series of parcels from the bag, “what did you get?”
“something i knew the american would like,” he teases, ripping open a few wrappers, “a classic cheeseburger with fries. i hope they’re not soggy. i ordered it plain since i know how you are about condiments.”
“no shake with that?” you giggle, sitting up. wrapping your arms around daniel, you bury your head into his shoulder, “it’s a been a fucking day, let me tell you.”
“yeah?” he stuffs a fry in his mouth, “tell me about it.”
“well,” you’re tempted to spill every single detail about what just occurred merely minutes ago. however, as daniel’s gaze meets yours, you hesitate, “i’m concerned about my future with williams.”
“why do you say that?” his eyes narrow, brow furrowing, “you’ve never said anything like that till now. did something happen on the way back from the press conference?”
“no, no, no,” you respond a little too quickly, “i just – i don’t know. you of all people know how quickly things change in this environment and–”
“hey,” daniel lays a hand on your thigh, “i think you need some rest. you’ve had a real fucking busy day. we can talk about your future plans in the morning.”
“but what if i want to talk about them now?”
“you of all people know that i am not one to tell people what to do or how to live their lives,” daniel’s eyes harden, the words stern, “but you need to decompress. take your mind off racing for a minute. your life is not all about racing. you need to take care of yourself too.”
“i know,” you allow him to wrap an arm around your shoulders, bringing you in close, “it’s too much to think about sometimes.”
“tell me about it,” daniel places a peck on your temple as you nestle your head into his collarbone, “how about we eat, and maybe we can talk about it later?”
“sounds like a plan to me,” you nod, “hey, i have a question for you.”
“and that is?”
reaching for a box of fries, you fiddle with it, “are there speculations that we’re dating?”
˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧˖⁺‧₊˚♡
“how do you think that went?”
james is to your right, tablet in hand. absentmindedly, you fiddle with the visor on your helmet, “all right.”
“just all right?” james queries, “you have pole position for tomorrow and you think that went just all right?”
“well,” you shrug, “we all know that max is going to overtake me, so i can’t be too hopeful.”
“such a pessimist,” james chuckles, placing a tender hand on your shoulder, “you don’t seem like you’re quite here today. i don’t want to press, but is something on your mind? you know you can tell me, right?”
there was quite a lot on your mind, actually.
in the days following the bahrain grand prix, it was almost as if your mind was a torrent of anxiety, fear, and numerous emotions. there were too many to decipher, constantly overwhelming you, distracting you from the matter at hand.
although you felt like you weren’t quite on this planet, you somehow managed to breeze past max in qualifying. it was only by hundredths of seconds, but it was a victory nonetheless. charles leclerc was behind max in the third position on the grid. alex was twelfth, which was not great but not terrible.
the encounter with toto was ever-present, consuming your thoughts whole. part of you wanted to confess the entire situation to james, but you knew that you had to keep it to yourself. this was no time to stir up any drama or rivalry between the two principals.
you couldn’t stop thinking about the way his hand drifted, how his voice shifted when he spoke to you. it was a far contrast from the way he spoke in interviews or to his drivers. it was rich yet husky, brimming with lust. there were gentle notes inflected in it as well, almost if he was admiring you. it was reminiscent of how one would speak of their favorite piece of artwork, or their most prized possession.
from his point of view, were you really a prize to be won? were you really that important? or were you the latter?
were you simply a pawn in his game?
the way he looked at you told you a different story.
there was no calculation. no coldness. there was no trace of the hardened, steely gaze he usually presented to his peers, to journalists, and to the general public.
there was simply a softness. as if you were one of his weak spots. you could remember him looking at you hungrily, as if he was taking in every single detail of the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
since the encounter in your motorhome, you had only bumped into the principal twice. once was on your entrance to the paddocks with james, where you exchanged formal greetings. the other was after the last practice session, where he congratulated you for your time, wishing you luck in qualifying.
the most odd aspect of it all was that you could count the number of exchanges you had with the principal on your fingers. most of it was formalities, either with the press lurking around, or when you attended events. there were no personal meetings before. it was all business or related to racing.
so he truly meant it when he had mentioned he had his eye on you for a while.
the only thing you could remember was an afterparty after the monaco grand prix in 2023. although max had won the race, both lewis and george had placed fourth and fifth. those were significant placements, especially on a track like monaco. you had placed eleventh, which was pretty monumental at the time.
around four a.m. at the afterparty, toto approached you. his face was flushed, cheeks tinged nearly crimson from the alcohol. the scent lingered on his breath, his hair was tousled, and a sheen of sweat clung to his skin. yet he was still utterly gorgeous, offering you a brilliant smile.
“i didn’t think the golden girl of formula one would make an appearance!”
“golden girl?”
“well of course,” he nodded fervently, the words slurred ever so slightly, “you shine like the sun. so that means you’re a golden girl!”
“mr. wolff,” your laughter was like bells, ringing so beautifully in the principals’ ears, “i think you’re pretty drunk.”
“let’s get a drink or two together. then you can really see that i’m not the big bad wolf.”
you ended up declining his offer, but he didn’t persist, leaving you to join daniel, lando, and oscar on the dancefloor. your heart was racing, and you were sure it had nothing to do with the pounding bass or alcohol consumption.
it was due to the fact that you had a tiny crush on the principal.
ever since you had sat behind the wheel of a race car, you were attracted to the principal. in your teenage years, you had dreamed of racing for mercedes, under the wing of toto. you swooned whenever you logged onto tumblr and read fanfics. you were nearly breathless every time you saw him pop up on your youtube feed.
fuck, even when you watched drive to survive on netflix, you couldn’t help but catch yourself rewinding back to the interviews with toto.
so when he offered to buy you a drink or two in monaco, you had to bite your tongue to say yes. when he entered your motorhome and had you pinned against the counter, you were a little weak in the knees. when he used little dove or schatz, it did leave your heart skipping a beat.
since that moment in monaco, things had been strictly professional. now, that line was starting to blur thanks to the motorhome incident. every time you noticed the principal, you could sense the tension in the air. it clouded nearly everything, thick and electric, sending a shiver down your spine every time the two of you locked eyes.
there was no doubt that the team principal was breathtaking. yet, he was almost thirty years older than you. additionally, you couldn’t help but think about the way the entire formula one world would react the moment they caught wind of mr. wolff and the american girl. the horrible treatment from the media would only skyrocket.
there was also the other elephant in the room.
after you asked daniel whether or not there were speculations the two of you were dating, he distanced himself. although he had said no, you couldn’t help but wonder if he wanted the world to think the two of you were together.
before, the two of you were almost inseparable. after alex, he was the first driver to welcome you to the world of formula one with open arms, often encouraging you, offering advice, and defending your name tirelessly. he was constantly reposting videos of you all over his social media, captioning them along the lines of, “look at my american girl go!” or “go best friend, that’s my best friend!”
of course, there were little rumors swirling around on social media that the two of you were an item. fans often made edits of the two of you, saying things like, “they’ll never tell us they’re dating but in my head they’re together” or “that aussie boy loves his american girl <3”
now, you found yourself distracted. too distracted. between the whole toto debacle, questioning your loyalty to williams,  the benefits of joining mercedes, and daniel leaving you out high and dry, you were a mess.
a hot mess, at the very least.
to make matters worse, tomorrow was the biggest race of your season. if not, the biggest race of your life.
and god only knew what tomorrow was going to bring.

Picture not so perfect memory — Kimi Raikkonen x reader
Angst and Hurt
Word count 4k
I feel like this is missing something but oh well 😭🔪🔪
A couple of months ago
"I can't understand why you're having such a hard time opening up, Kimi," you said, feeling puzzled. Kimi scoffed and rolled his eyes in response. "I don't need to share everything with you, Y/n. Just drop it," he replied, taking a sip of his drink. “Please, don't tell me to drop it. It's obvious that something is bothering you, and I genuinely want to know what it is. Please, just tell me," y/n pleaded.
Kimi slammed his drink on the table and stood up facing y/n” You want to know what’s bothering me y/n? It’s you. You're the one who's bothering me and I don’t want to hear your voice anymore. I'm sick of you talking” Kimi yelled.
Y/n's eyes widened in horror as she gazed at Kimi. The words that had just escaped Kimi's lips left Y/n in disbelief. How could Kimi say something like that to her?
“Fine if you're so sick of my…” voice then I’ll leave,” Y/n said with tears streaming down her cheeks as she walked to their bedroom and began packing a bag. Kimi didn’t follow her, he just sat back down and continued to drink his drink.
As y/n walked away, tears streaming down her cheeks, Kimi sat silently, feeling guilty and remorseful for his words. He tried to ignore the emotions creeping in, taking another sip of his drink. The silence in the room was deafening, and he couldn't shake the heaviness in his heart.
After a few minutes, he got up and walked into the bedroom. He saw y/n packing her bags, her suitcase open on the bed, clothes stuffed in hastily. He leaned against the doorway, watching her silently. “I didn't mean it. Don't leave, please,” Kimi said softly.
Y/n froze, her hands pausing over the clothes in her hands. She turned to face Kimi, tears still streaming down her face.
“You said you're sick of me, sick of my voice,” y/n choked out, her voice tinged with anguish.
Kimi took a step closer, his gaze locked on y/n's.
“Y/n, ”he said, his voice a husky whisper. He cupped her face gently, wiping away her tears with his thumb. “I was afraid, I pushed you away. I'm sorry.”
Y/n hesitated, her heart conflicted. She wanted to believe his apology, but the memory of his cold words still stung. “I’m leaving and that’s final Kimi,” y/n said sniffling and pulling back away from him.
Kimi's face fell, his eyes pleading.
“Please, y/n. I need you,” he said, his voice trembling. He reached out for her hand, but y/n pulled away.
“You don't. You made it very clear that you’re sick of me,” she said, her voice choking. She turned back to her packing, determined to leave. Kimi watched her, his heart aching. He wanted to say more, to apologize, but the words felt inadequate. He stood there, feeling helpless as he watched her walk away. He knew he had hurt her deeply, and there was nothing he could say to undo it.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Kimi was miserable. He missed y/n, but he had been too stubborn to reach out to her. Every day, he thought about her, wondering if she was happy without him. One night, after a particularly tough race, Kimi sat alone in his hotel room, nursing a glass of Scotch. He couldn't stop thinking about what he had lost. He missed y/n's laughter, her smile, her soft, comforting touch. He realized then, how much he truly loved her.
In a moment of desperation, he picked up his phone and dialed y/n's number. His heart pounded in his chest as he waited for her to answer. The phone rang once, twice, three times, and then it went to voicemail. He hung up, feeling a wave of disappointment wash over him. He took a deep breath and tried her number again, this time leaving a message. “Y/n, it's me. Please, please call me back. I need to talk to you. I miss you. I love you. Please.”
"Hey, sorry I missed your call, just leave a message after the beep"
"Hey, yeah, it's me, just been thinking about everything tonight
And I don't know, I just miss you so much
Give me a call back if you can?"
y/n's pov
Picture-perfect memories
Scattered all around the floor
Reachin' for the phone 'cause I can't fight it anymore
Y/n's heart sank as she heard Kimi's voicemail. She clutched her phone tightly, her heart aching. How could he say he loved her now after he'd hurt her so deeply? Memories of their time together flooded her mind, the laughter, the joy, the love. And now it was all shattered. She couldn't deny that she still loved him, even now. The urge to call him back was strong, but y/n resisted. She needed time to heal, to understand why Kimi had pushed her away. Despite her anger and heartbreak, she couldn't stop thinking about him. His words, his touch, his smile. She missed him terribly. Instead, she continued sipping on her wine and looked at the pictures that now lay scattered across the floor.
As y/n looked at the pictures, tears welled up in her eyes. Each photo captured a moment of happiness, a memory of their love. She picked up the photos one by one, looking at their smiling faces. She remembered how her heart had fluttered when he first kissed her, how they had laughed together during long drives, how safe she had felt in his embrace. The weight of her grief became too much to bear. She let out a choked sob, covering her mouth with her hand. She missed Kimi, more than she cared to admit. Why had he hurt her so badly? Why hadn't he just talked to her instead of pushing her away?
For a moment, she considered giving in and calling him back, but then she shook her head firmly. She needed more time. She needed to heal, to figure out what she wanted. She couldn't let her heart make the decisions for her, not when it was so clouded with love and pain.
In separate rooms in separate homes, both Kimi and y/n wonder if they crossed each other’s minds. Kimi lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. The memory of y/n’s voice on her voicemail message replayed in his mind. The sound of her voice, which once brought him comfort, now only brought pain. He couldn't help but wonder if she was thinking of him if she missed him too. Y/n, on the other hand, was struggling with the same thoughts. She lay in her bed, her sheets rumpled from tossing and turning. She thought of the way Kimi's eyes crinkled when he smiled, the warmth of his hands, the sound of his laughter. Was he thinking about her, too? Her heart ached for him, despite everything.
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind
For me, it happens all the time
But both y/n and Kimi were too stubborn to reach out to each other again, at least not yet. They needed more time to process their feelings and to understand what they wanted. The silence between them was deafening, but under that silence, their hearts still yearned for each other. Time passed slowly for both Kimi and y/n, their days filled with longing and regret. They tried to keep themselves occupied, to distract themselves from the ache in their hearts, but nothing could fully dull the pain. They often thought about reaching out, picking up the phone, and calling each other, but fear held them back. They became experts at hiding their pain, putting on brave faces, and pretending everything was fine. Kimi threw himself into his racing, channeling his emotions into his performance. Y/n threw herself into her work, trying to drown out her thoughts with tasks and deadlines.
But no matter how hard they tried to bury their feelings, they couldn’t help the occasional glance at each other’s social media profiles. They saw the updates, the smiles, the life continuing without them. It was a bittersweet reminder of what they had once had and lost. As the months went by, the pain didn't fade, not really. It became bearable, yes, but it was still there, a constant presence in their lives. They wondered if they would ever truly move on if they would ever find love again, or if they were destined to be stuck in this limbo, forever longing for each other but unable to reach out.
Despite their efforts to keep their feelings hidden, Kimi's friends and family noticed the change in him. They saw the sadness in his eyes, the way he would drift off mid-conversation, lost in thought. They knew he was hurting, but he refused to talk about y/n, to acknowledge the void in his heart that she had left behind. Similarly, y/n's friends noticed her changed moods and silent moments. They knew something had happened, but y/n wouldn't open up either. She kept her pain locked inside, refusing to talk about the man who still held her heart captive. As they silently struggled, both y/n and Kimi wondered if they would ever find forgiveness within themselves, if they would ever be able to let go of the hurt and find a way back to each other. They missed each other immensely, but their pride and fear of being hurt again kept them from reaching out.
They continued living their lives, going through the motions, but deep down, they knew something was missing. They missed the comfort of each other's presence, the familiarity of their shared life. The memories haunted them, a bittersweet reminder of what once was and what could have been.
It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now
Said I wouldn't call, but I've lost all control and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without
I just need you now
Y/n sat alone in her living room, the loneliness of the night weighing heavily on her shoulders. It was one of those nights when the silence felt overwhelming and the absence of his presence was keenly felt. The clock struck a quarter past one, and her thoughts turned to Kimi, as they often did during these solitary hours. She had vowed not to call him, not to give in to the longing that consumed her soul. But tonight, the desire to hear his voice was too strong to resist. She picked up her phone, her fingers shaking slightly as she dialed his number. As the phone rang, she held her breath, her heart pounding in her chest. With each ring, y/n felt a nervous anticipation. What if he didn't answer? Would he hang up as soon as he heard her voice? The dial tone seemed to stretch endlessly, and she almost regretted dialing his number. Just as she was about to hang up, she heard a click and a familiar voice answered.
"Hello?" Kimi's voice, gravelly and low, sent a shiver down y/n's spine. The sound of his voice was both a comfort and a torment, filling her with a bittersweet mix of relief and longing.
"Kimi," she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper. She didn't know what to say, or how to explain the turmoil of emotions swirling within her. All she knew was that she needed him, now more than ever.
There was a moment of silence on the other end, and y/n wondered if he would hang up if he was as conflicted as she was. But then he spoke, his voice softer than before, tinged with a hint of vulnerability.
"Y/n," he said, his breath catching. "I didn't expect you to call."
Y/n swallowed hard, fighting back the tears that threatened to overwhelm her. She wanted to say so much, to apologize and explain, but all she could manage was a choked "I miss you."
Kimi sighed, and y/n could almost picture him running a hand through his hair, the way he did when he was frustrated or uncertain. His voice was husky when he responded, "I miss you too."
They both fell silent again, the weight of their longing and regret hanging heavily in the air. Y/n wanted to say more, to express the depth of her feelings, but she couldn't find the words. Kimi's breathing was the only sound on the line, a constant reminder that he was there, listening to her, feeling the same conflicted emotions. As the minutes ticked by, y/n's mind raced with questions. Would this phone call change anything? Would it bring them back together? Or would it just make
the pain worse? She didn't know, but she couldn't bring herself to end the call, not when just the sound of his breath made her heart ache with longing.
They talked for hours, their conversation a delicate dance, filled with unspoken apologies and unspoken confessions. They reminisced about the good times, the laughter, and the joy they had shared. They acknowledged the mistakes they had made, the hurts they had inflicted on each other. They skirted around the topic of reconciling, neither of them brave enough to broach the subject. But in the space between the words, they found a fragile peace, a glimpse of hope for a possible future.
Another shot of whiskey
Can't stop looking at the door
Wishing you'd come sweeping in the way you did before
Kimi sat alone in his hotel room, nursing a glass of whiskey. He couldn't help but glance towards the door, expecting y/n to walk in any minute. The memories of her laughter, her smile, and her touch were like a bittersweet melody, playing on a loop in his mind. He knew he had messed up, that he had pushed her away with his cold, distant demeanor. But in the silence of the night, he realized how much he truly missed her. He missed the way her eyes lit up when she talked about her dreams. He missed the way she made him laugh, even when he didn't want to. The whiskey burned his throat as he downed it in one gulp, trying to drown out the ache in his heart. But the pain persisted, a constant reminder of what he had lost. He longed to reach out to y/n, to apologize and tell her how much he missed her. But his pride and fear held him back, creating a barrier between them.
The clock ticked on as he sat in his loneliness, each second feeling like an eternity. He longed for their shared laughter, the warmth of her touch, the intimacy of their whispered secrets. The absence of her presence felt like a gaping wound, raw and throbbing with pain.
"Hello?" Kimi's voice carried a hint of hope and trepidation as he picked up the phone, hoping it would be y/n on the other end.
"Hey," y/n's voice came through the phone, soft and hesitant. The sound of her voice sent a jolt of surprise through him, followed by a rush of conflicting emotions. He was happy she had called, relieved that she hadn't forgotten about him entirely. But he also felt a twinge of guilt, remembering how his distance had hurt her.
"Y/n," he said, his voice filled with longing. He wanted to say so many things, to apologize and beg for forgiveness. But the words caught in his throat, his pride holding him back. He didn't want to reveal too much, to show how deeply her absence had affected him. There was a pause as y/n seemed to struggle with her own emotions, unsure of how to start the conversation. The silence felt heavy, laden with unspoken apologies and unspoken forgiveness. Finally, she took a deep breath and spoke, her voice wavering slightly.
"I don't know what to say," she admitted, her honesty piercing his heart. "I just... I miss you, Kimi. I know I shouldn't, after everything that happened. But I can't stop thinking about you."
Kimi's heart ached at her words, a mixture of guilt and hope flooding his soul. He reached for the right words, the ones that would convey the depth of his longing, but all he could manage was a shaky, "I miss you too."
Y/n sighed softly, the sound filled with both sadness and relief. They were both dancing around the truth, both afraid to address the real reason behind their longing. But the connection between them felt like a lifeline, pulling them closer despite the hurt they had caused each other. They talked for hours, their conversation a delicate dance between longing and caution. They spoke about their lives, their work, their friends, anything but the pain they had inflicted on each other. But in the spaces between the words, they communicated their regrets, their hopes, and their continued love for each other. They didn't discuss reconciling yet, but the possibility lingered in the air like a whispered prayer.
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind For me, it happens all the time
As the night wore on, the phone call between Kimi and y/n slowly came to an end. They hung up, their hearts heavy with a mix of regret and longing. The days that followed were filled with a strange sort of emptiness as if something was missing from their lives.
Despite their attempts to move on, both Kimi and y/n found themselves thinking about each other constantly. The memories of their time together haunted them, whispering what-ifs and might-have-been.
They tried to distract themselves with work, socialization, and hobbies, yet the thoughts of each other would slip in when they were least expecting it. In the silence of their solitary moments, they wondered if they were going insane, caught in a loop of longing that seemed never-ending.
Nights were the hardest, as their minds replayed the moments they had shared, the laughter, the touch, the love. They yearned for that connection once again, but the fear of being hurt held them back. The lingering questions of what might have been gnawed at their hearts, refusing to let go. Despite the passage of time, the memories of their love stayed fresh, like a wound that refused to heal. They found themselves looking at old photographs, listening to songs that held hidden meanings, and visiting places that once held significance. The reminders of their shared past were everywhere, mocking them with what they had once had.
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and still, Kimi and y/n remained apart. Their pride and stubbornness, combined with their fear of being hurt again, prevented them from reaching out to each other, even though their hearts yearned for reconciliation. The distance between them seemed insurmountable at times, the longing turning into a constant background hum in their lives.
They watched from afar, secretly following each other's social media updates. Kimi would see pictures of y/n living her life, smiling and happy, and a pang of jealousy would strike his heart. Y/n, too, would see photos of Kimi hanging out with friends, his laughter echoing through the images, and a pang of longing would fill her chest. They would hear stories through the grapevine, about the dates y/n was going on or the girls Kimi was spotted with. These updates would fill them with conflicting emotions - a mixture of jealousy, hurt, and even a flicker of hope that maybe they were both trying to move on.
But amidst the longing and the pain, there was a part of them that couldn't let go completely, a part that still held onto the hope that maybe, just maybe, one day they would find their way back to each other. Until then, they remained in this limbo, caught between the past they yearned for and the future that felt uncertain and distant. They knew they were being stubborn and illogical, holding onto their pride at the expense of their happiness and potential for reconciliation. But the fear of heartache and the pain of the past kept them locked in a cycle of resistance. As the days passed by, the chances of reconciliation seemed to grow smaller with each ticking second.
Despite the emotional turmoil they found themselves in, life had to go on. They continued to live their lives, going through the motions, but always feeling a lingering emptiness that not even success could fill. It was as if a part of their hearts were waiting for the other piece to come back, making every moment bittersweet with the loss of a love they both dearly missed.
They tried to move on, date other people, and find new happiness, but the ghost of their relationship always haunted them. Every touch, every laugh with someone else was a cruel reminder of what they had lost and what they still desired.
It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now
And I said I wouldn't call, but I'm a little drunk and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without
I just need you now
It was hard but eventually, they moved on. Time has this magical way of healing wounds and reshaping perspectives. After months of heartbreak and solitude, Kimi and y/n eventually managed to move on. The pain of their breakup gradually faded into a distant memory, replaced by a quiet acceptance of their separate paths. They found solace in their own lives, embracing new adventures, new love, and new beginnings.
Despite the distance and the passage of time, memories of their passionate love and heartfelt connection remain etched in their minds. They carried with them the lessons learned and the growth gained from their tumultuous relationship. Though no longer together, the impact they had on each other lived on, reminding them of the fleeting but powerful love they once shared.
As fate often has it, their lives occasionally crossed again, at shared events or casual encounters. The old feelings of longing and love would resurface, stirring a bittersweet mix of nostalgia and regret. However, with the wisdom gained from their past, they chose to keep a respectful distance, cherishing the brief moments while remaining steadfast on their separate paths.
The years passed, and they built their own families. Kimi found love again and started a family with a new partner. Y/n, too, found contentment with someone else, building a life filled with love and happiness. Though their hearts still held a tiny corner for each other, they finally found a sense of closure and acceptance, knowing that they had indeed moved on.
They occasionally caught glimpses of each other's lives, witnessing each other's growth and contentment from afar. A small part of them whispered what-ifs, but they knew that their paths had diverged, and their chapter had closed. They both cherished the memories they had created together, knowing that their love, although now history, would forever remain a beautiful and significant part of their lives.
They realized that love, in its essence, carried an inherent risk of pain and hurt. Their relationship reminded them that love was not just about the euphoric highs but also about the potential for painful lows. The beauty of their love lay not only in the happiness they had shared but also in the lessons they had learned from each other. Though their relationship ended in hurt, it served as a reminder of the delicate balance between love and pain, growth and sacrifice.
As they navigated their separate lives, they found strength in the knowledge that even in the depths of hurt, they had loved fiercely and deeply. Their relationship had left an indelible mark on their hearts, forever intertwining them in a shared history that shaped who they were and who they would become. Through it all, they held onto the belief that true love, whether it ended in triumph or tragedy, was always worth the risk.
I just need you now
Oh baby, I need you now

Warnings: Blood mentioned (human and animal), rituals
Tumblr media
"I'm not using your blood for a ritual," Oscar said with a roll of his eyes as Lando laid in the middle of the chalk pentagram. Oscar hadn't yet lit the candles, and the chalk making up the pentagram was now printed on the back of Lando's jumper.
"C'mon, Osc," he said as he allowed the younger man to pull him to his feet. "I thought you needed blood."
He grinned at his boyfriend. God, he was cute. "Animal blood, Lan," he said and moved him away from the ritual set up. He sat him down on the sofa, beside their girlfriend, and she wrapped her arms around him, keeping him there.
The two of them loved watching Oscar do magic. They watched as he lit the candles and redrew the pentagram. It was a protection spell, the two of them knew. They'd seen him do it enough times now that they knew the ritual off by heart.
When the protection ritual was finished, Oscar looked across the room at his loves. How had he gotten so lucky?
He knew how. Little Oscar had spent months searching through his sisters spell books. Spells for luck, wealth, good fortune, good future. Oscar had cast them all.
Luck with is karting career, since skill simply wasn't enough in this world. Good fortune and good future led to him starting his Formula One career and meeting the worlds best teammate.
Wealth. It wasn't a spell for money. It could have been for money, if that wasn't already in Oscar's future. No, he was wealthy in love.
Lando was his soulmate, he knew that from the moment they met. His funny, charismatic teammate. Everybody loved Lando, he knew, but the feelings Oscar had were... indescribable.
He wasn't the only one of them that could feel this draw, but he was the only one that could explain it. He knew Lando couldn't explain why he was kissing his teammate, but he knew he he didn't want to stop.
But then he found out that Lando had a girlfriend. Of course, he did, why wouldn't he? He was brilliantly funny and charming. And Oscar knew there was nothing he could do about that.
As hard as it was, Oscar tried to let Lando go. But then he met said girlfriend. Oh God, she was cute. She wasn't like Lando, and the pull Oscar had to her certainly wasn't as strong, but it was still there.
The way she laughed at him, punched at his shoulder when he made some deadpan joke, she had to be flirting with him. At least, Oscar hoped she was.
The three of them sat alone, just hanging out. It happened often, and were Oscar's favourite times. She sat in Lando's lap as she spoke to Oscar.
And, suddenly, Lando was standing. He placed her down where he had just been sitting, and walked over to Oscar. His hands were on his cheeks as he leaned in.
Oscar was wide eyed, looked towards her as Lando kissed him. This wasn't happening. This couldn't have been happening. She just watched as Lando kissed him.
Suddenly, Oscar was on his feet. "I'm not doing this if it's some fetish thing," he said quickly, looking between the two.
They looked at each other and, well, laughed. They were actually laughing at him, and it fucking sucked. "Not a fetish thing, Osc," said Lando as he pulled him back onto the couch. "I like you, and she likes you, too. Do y'think she could come over here and kiss you?"
It went beyond kisses. Before any of them knew it, they'd been together for a year and Lando was asking him to move in with them.
He cast a protection spell in the dead of night when he first moved in. She had walked in on him blowing out the candles and wiping the blood up from the floor. He'd tried his best to explain, and she was patient with him, listening to all he had to say. She didn't believe him, of course, so Oscar proved it.
He proved it to the both of them, and they stayed by his side.
And here he was, casting a protection spell for his little family. It had been a year of living with them now. A year of keeping them safe, of only casting spells if he needed to. He kept looking at his loves, the loves he had because little Oscar attempted to cast from his sisters spell book.
Hours later there was a knock on the door. Lando pulled himself out of their little cuddle pile. "I'll get it," he said as he stretched up and walked towards the front door.
Oscar tightened his grip on her as they both waited for Lando to come back. He kissed her head and tipped his own back, watching as Lando walked back into the living room and slipped back into his seat. "Package for ya, Osc," he said and handed Oscar the rectangular package.
He pulled it open. "Wow," he whispered as he ran his fingers over the cover of the book, the first spell book he'd ever used. Without this book, would he still have his loves here, holding him tight through the nights?
He opened it to the first page. Wealth. When he'd cast it, he thought he was going to grow up to be rich. He was very wrong, and he couldn't be happier about it.

Daniel’s POV
It was a cool, crisp evening when I first met Y/N. The racetrack lights buzzed above us, casting long shadows on the tarmac. Her laughter caught my attention before I even saw her face; it was light but rich, cutting through the low murmur of excited race fans gathering around. When I turned and our eyes met, something inexplicable pulled at the core of my being. It was as if in that split second, time itself took a breath.
Our love ignited quickly, much like the way I drove—fast, passionate, and with reckless abandon. She was fiery, spirited, challenging me in ways no track or rival ever could. This wasn't just the thrill of a race; this was deeper, a connection that defied the transient nature of our lives. Yet, beneath our fervent love was the constant thrum of a ticking clock—my career's risks and the natural course of life reminding us that everything was temporary.
I remember lying beside her one night, the moon casting a silvery glow through the window. The world outside was quiet, but inside, a storm of emotions raged within me. My voice was barely a whisper when I broke the silence, the weight of my words heavier than I'd intended. "When death takes my hand, I will hold you with the other and promise to find you in every lifetime."
Her eyes, always so full of light, met mine with an intensity that both scared and comforted me. She placed her palm against my cheek, her touch gentle yet full of resolve. "And I’ll be waiting, in every lifetime, to take that hand and run," she replied, her voice steady. It wasn’t just a vow; it was a declaration, one as binding and potent as the very air we breathed.
Life, however, had its own plans. We traveled together when we could, from one city to another, each race a new adventure, a new memory. But time apart was inevitable. My career demanded it, and she had her own dreams to chase. The hellos were joyful, the goodbyes, soul-crushing.
Then came the day when everything changed. I was mid-race, the engine's roar beneath me, my mind focused on the blur of the track ahead. The crackle of my team's voice through the earpiece shattered the concentration, words that didn't make sense, couldn't make sense. "There’s been an accident. It’s Y/N."
My heart plummeted, racing ahead faster than any car could take me. The world didn't just pause; it shattered. There was no victory, no podium that could compensate for the dread that filled me.
The hospital was stark, the beeping of machines too clinical. Y/N lay still, her vibrant spirit dimmed by tubes and wires. The doctors spoke in soft, solemn tones about "severe injuries" and "long recoveries." They didn’t understand that she wasn't one to give up—neither of us were.
Days blurred into nights as I sat by her bedside, holding her hand, talking to her about races we had seen and places we’d visit when she woke up. And when she finally did, her smile, though faint, was enough to reignite hope. Recovery was arduous and painful, each small movement a victory, each setback a battle. But we faced each day as we did every challenge: together.
Our journey wasn’t easy. There were moments filled with frustration, tears mixed with laughter, but through it all, our promises held us steadfast. I knew that this wasn’t just a temporary crossing of paths in the chaos of life. It was destiny, intertwined through every lifetime, every reality we could possibly imagine.
And in every one, no matter the challenges, I would find her, and we would race through life, together, our hands clasped tightly, our hearts even tighter. We had won the race of a lifetime, not once, but in every existence we shared, forever bound by a love that transcended time itself.

Question?
If I were to make a kofi would people be interested in donating in exchange for aesthetics? I’m in my last 6 months of uni and I know I’m gonna have to stay longer to finish placement where I won’t have a loan so am looking for ways to save up a little. I’ll still be writing but would ask for a small donation towards any requests or aesthetics?
Also I want to thank @vivwritesfics for giving me the confidence to do this 💕💕
