Please consider saving a sweet life, costs you nothing but some room in your home and some love from your heart! Find out about fostering!
Most rescues will cover expenses, so all you would need is a good doggie type home and some love for the pup! And if you decide that the dog would be a good fit for you for forever, you get first dibs!
We have a great network of rescues and shelters in the MD area we work with, so please email us to inquire. No obligation, but you will be surprised how YOU can be a hero to a dog or cat and save their life!
Please email
[email protected] and ask us! We are an all-volunteer group just trying to help save lives! ASK US IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT TOO!!

Fun fact: Once they reach about 2 years old, deer spend the majority of their life in something commonly called a home range, which is their territory ranging from about 50 acres to 650 acres depending on food and resources. They might wander outside this area from time to time, but in general they don't stray far from the area they feel safe in unless it's absolutely necessary.
Applying this to Alastor, that probably means Alastor doesn't do the traditional overlord thing of having multiple stretches of territory or even one large territory where others would live. He could have a house and a small plot of land in Cannibal Town and he'd be set. He most likely bargains in souls and in favors, because he has no need for a large territory.
What this also means is if something happens to Alastor's territory, he wouldn't have another territory he can fall back on. Meaning that after his 7 year disappearance, he for any number of reasons decided to very quickly make the hotel his new territory.
That would be why he fights so much to defend the hotel, not necessarily because he cares (though I think he does care against his will), but because the hotel is his territory. This isn't just a matter of protection, it's a matter of staking his claim on the land. This could even play into his disdain for Lucifer, someone more powerful who could easily take that territory for himself should he choose.
TLDR; Alastor was probably homeless in the time between returning from his sabbatical and the pilot, and has no interest in doing that again.
😭

Let's put "Christ" into Christmas this year by remembering the destitute, the homeless, as well as the pets they cherish. Please give generously to the needy and remember to include food and toys for their most faithful companions

I entered something they called a Bear Bike Marathon, in which teams of three dirt bike riders race through a 30 mile stretch of track through wilderness, city streets, and mud pits. Apparently my team was supporting a local homeless shelter, but before we could finish, I wiped out and woke up.

In Baltimore County, MD: Bella Bell available for adoption
Oh hello there, I'm Bella Bell! I'm glad I caught your attention because I've been waiting for you to find me! I am 2 years old and about 52 lbs. I was surrendered to the shelter with my sister initially and have been adopted and returned twice, all at no fault of my own!! I just can't seem to catch a break, and I am hoping third times the charm. I can be shy when I meet new people but who can blame me with all I've been through. If you go slow with me and are patient and kind, I warm up quickly. The volunteers who visit with me say I am a very affectionate gal. Once I am comfortable, I open up and enjoy being active on walks and playing in the yards. I would love a large yard of my own to run around in as well as a best friend to play with. Because of my initial shyness, I would do best in a home with older children and would need to meet any resident dogs as well. I just want someone to see me for the sweet, silly girl I am!
Come meet her (she is worth the ride!)
