what a fantastic take on time loops! buck only repeats days when he's died. so there could be strings of days/weeks/months where he lives life like normal. and eddie gets brought into it at some point, or more like he shoulders his way in because it's EDDIE and he cares. ending was amazing too, author made it truly make sense! i am so intrigued about the background on buck's ability!

Cal is fabulous with making you feel for every aspect of a character. they moved from the prior story of buck pov to this eddie pov with flawless precision and godddd i don't know what it is about their words. they are IMPACTFUL. i read a chapter and have to lean back and think through my feelings, like I'M getting therapized. what the fuck??????????????

last but DEFINITELY not least is this one, my love. if i can imprint this on my heart, blood and papercuts and ripped out ribs and all, i WOULD. i will never have enough time or breath to speak on this fic. it was one of the first 3 fics i read in this fandom. and FUCKKKK did sami pull me in. i think i wasn't even caught up with the show but it DOESN'T matter. she set it after s4 and eddie goes throughhhh it on time loops. the beautiful prose, the sweeping emotions from eddie to buck. the 118 firefam ensemble comedy. the LOVE CONFESSIONS???? multiple????? each one made me teary and one made me outright cry. they were all different and they were all perfect on every iteration of the worst day of eddie's life. i sometimes turn over my pillow at 3 am and get a visceral flash of buck's shocked and bloody face when REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED and have to take a deep breath and rub my chest because sami did it AGAIN and my brain just likes me to remember these moments i've read and scanned into my brain apparently to play on loop

A FEW MOMENTS LATER SCOTT WALKS OVER AND GRABS SUM BC HE THOUGHT oh well i don't want to get drunk, i have work tomorrow morning. SO HE CHUGS IT. BOOM. HES FLATLINE DRUNK, THEN JEREMY COMES BY, GRABS 2 CUPS BC HE WAS THIRSTY, HES FLATLINE DRUNK x2. Vincent and Scott (mainly Vincent tbh,,, Scott was just doing whatever Vin said lol) was like ok GETT OUT. SOBER UP bc Mike was also totally wasted, leaving only me and Vincent sober, we ended up letting everyone (minus mike bc he tried to drive home while outside and almost ran over Scott because he was trying to get Mike back inside because it's cold and Vincent felt bad,,, and Vinny just drove him home rq) plus, i got my lil purplephone kissy mwah mwah picture haha! oh this is amazing holy shit!

“Hey check this out!” Your friend said as they came running up to you into your kitchen. They were hanging out with you for the day so they were just relaxing around since they don’t bother. You looked as your friend held up there screen with apparently a YouTube video with an album playing. You listened to the music a bit as ur friend started to explain. “He makes the kind of music you make! You should contact him and ask to do a collab” you looked at the person who made it, ‘Wilbur soot’ you heard of him before so decided to give it a try.

You and your friend sat down on the couch as she watched you pull out your phone and pull up his Insta. You opened messages and began to type:

‘Hey Wilbur! You may not know me and that fine, I’m a/n. You’ve probably heard of me or not but I make songs like, s/n, s/n, and s/n those are my more popular ones. Well let me get to the point, do you wanna make a collab? We make similar music and I think it was be amazing, you don’t have to respond to this but it would be amazing if you did! -a/n’

You turned to your friend who was more beamed than you were.

A few days later..

You listend to Wilbur’s music here and there and noticed how good it was, ‘no way he would reply’ you thought as you suddenly got a notification as you were on your phone and clicked on it. Your face beamed as you read it. It was a reply from Wilbur?!

‘Hey! Sorry it took me almost a week to answer your reply, I’ve been busy with my first gig. But I would love too! We can meet up at ***** street in a bit if your free? Unless your not in brighton’

You quickly typed a reply:

‘No I live there! Is 20 minutes ok? I’m a complete mess right now lol’

‘Yeah ofc! See you there’

You squealed as you immediately went to go get ready and meet up with Wilbur. You put on something casual and did your normal routine as you soon after hurried out the door. You wanted to be there a bit early not wanting to be rude. Thankfully the place he mentioned was near your house and was a cafe so you didn’t have to worry about him being sketchy. When you got there you saw him there too, apparently you both were early not wanting to set a bad first impression.

“Hi Wilbur!” You said as he looked to his side to see you, “hello a/n!” You guys had a slight small talk before walking into the cafe and sitting down. You both chatted away about the whole collab and the whole song writing part writing down ideas in both your notes app. You talked and ordered food also getting to know each other as well and the secret behind some of your guys popular songs and inspo.

After a while you guys thought it was time to wrap it up to for the day and planned to meet up again the day after tomorrow. You guys stood in front of the cafe about to part ways. “Wait!” Wilbur said before you officially left, “can I get your number?” You smiled and handed him your phone with your number area already related for him to type in his own. “Thanks” he smiled as you nodded and started to walk away, “oh and Wilbur” you said turning around, “call me y/n :)” finally you officially walked away leaving him watching you fade into the distance.

these underwater/underground ruins are SO COOL i wish i'd seen these the first time i was here

YOOOOOOO MY FUCKING CLIMBING BOOTS. FOUND THEM!!!!!!!!!

shrine puzzle here where i gotta take the crystal and follow the beam. i am quite clearly supposed to build a raft, but there are materials for a bike. decided against this bc i love rafting in this game and also bc of the low ceiling, even though with the crystal as a counterweight the low ceiling ought to be no problem

actually, i should have done the bike. rafting is more fun when you're going with the current and not against it and also i'm dying to see how my new battery holds up <3

BIKE GOOD...i can't wait to get a chance to properly put it thru its paces

oh man i did a really long korok trip that with my old battery i wouldn't have been able to do!!!

there's a BED? up here at the reservoir. i slept in it expecting my bike to despawn but it was still there when i woke up

and a sidequest for helping this zora get stones for mipha's court...good i could use a break lol

thank you for tagging me @pixelsandkink and @raleiighcarrera mwah !!

ok so since i write for choices, litg, and twc i’m gonna take all of those into account for this :)

1 story to be proud of & why:

the first one that comes to mind is to hell and back. i hadn’t written for ride or die before, and i pushed myself to write something diverging from canon that had consistent theming, and great angst. i’m still really proud of it. it took me a long time to finish it and all my friends who stan ride or die really loved it so !!!

2 stories that are most popular by readers:

unrequited part one and calm before the storm ! both bryce fics lmao he’s the money maker baby KSDFJKSD but seriously i love writing bryce so im glad it’s fics that i care about that are well received!!

3 stories with the best characters & why:

as good as gold – i just love mal in this fic so much because i was really wrapped up in blades and fleshing out my mc zilyana at the time and this is them when they were testing the waters with each other and getting to know each other so i just <3 they’re babies and also i lowkey predicted some of mal’s behaviors so !!! i think i nailed his characterization

hearth – i think this is one of my underrated favs bc i think i nailed bryce’s flirty side and i wrote a little bit of the group dynamic !!

unrequited part 3 – well i mean bryce is perfect here because i predicted canon so i think i wrote him very in character AND i wrote keiki and i love her so <3 KSJDFKSKD JK i just think since it took me a long time to finish it i was focusing even more on the characterization

4 stories I was excited to write about:

the list, because it’s canon divergent and set in the future with mal and i just! once i had the idea in my head i couldn’t stop

more, because i’d never written mason smut before OR super explicit smut at that LMFAO

mementos, because i wanted to write for rodaw and i managed to put out a good fic

out of time – i’m gonna sound demonic but i was excited to write this because i knew i was gonna write characters i normally didn’t and give myself the closure i wanted from an off screen character death

calm before the storm – gonna sound demonic again, but i used this fic kind of as a coping mechanism from the loss i’ve experienced this year so !! i was excited to delve into bryce’s motivations because i saw myself in him in the way he handled things

5 of my personal favorite stories:

creature of habit, because i think i captured zilyana and mal’s relationship perfectly and it was a gift fic using my friend’s headcanon so !!! it’s an underrated fav

attached series, because it’s something i haven’t seen before? and im pushing myself to write for two polar opposite characters (mason and felix). and i care so deeply about them both as love interests and characters so !!! i’m really excited to see where it goes.

unrequited series, because it was the first time i was really proud of my writing? i’ve said it a million times before but i really was and still am. people actually wanted more from me and that hadn’t happened before (outside of my friend group LMAO)

asvista cove, my litg college au that i’ve been working on (kind of mia rn but im trying to get back on track). it’s the most ambitious world building i’ve done but i’ve come up with the town, the school, the mascot, the friend groups, the beach hangout spot, the bar, all of it!! it’s so much planning and it’s completely self indulgent and i love it.

i’m gonna add this litg fic on the end, because the one year anniversary of ‘is this fate?’ is coming up tomorrow (i think) – this was the first multi-chaptered fanfic i’d written and the second fic i’d EVER written. i’ve grown so much as a writer and even though i cringe a little at the title, the writing, the repetitiveness, the overall sloppiness of it – it’s something i’m really proud of because i sat down and crafted an au when i didn’t know anyone online, didn’t have anybody to motivate me or push me besides myself and my own mind which was bursting with stupid little cliche ideas that i felt like i had to write down.... and people enjoyed it and wanted more (its about to hit 3k hits, which WOW... how???). anyways sorry this got so long but i’ve come SO FAR in a year and it makes me feel so warm inside thinking about it. <3

I thought this was much needed considering all the hate suk is getting lately :/ feel free to leave any questions/asks/comments in my inbox! mwah ♡

so it’s been a while since the night of the party

first things first, mina and gon are a couple nowヽ(*＾ω＾*)ﾉ

you really never thought you could see any of your friends in a romantic relationship but these two go so well together uwu

they’re kind of like the resident mom and dad couple

and because of that, your two friend groups have officially been adopted by them!!

and at first you were lowkey scared of his friends ,,, esp seunghun

but when you found out he’s actually just a puppy in a buff man’s body , shit got LIT

idk what i meant by lit, it just seemed to fit

anyway

so you guys basically hang out every day, usually congregating at the boy’s place bc they’re sophomores and have their own apartment

and u and hyunsuk are basically besties now

now,,, you can’t deny you were very attracted to him before

lol don’t tell anyone but u still kinda are(๑>◡<๑)

but you just assumed it was surface level and decided he was better as a best friend anyway

so basically you guys found out you share a bunch of the same classes

and now you guys walk to all ur classes together!!!

and suk brings u iced coffee in the morning

and walks you back to your dorm at night

and sometimes you guys hold hands

you’re also his calculus tutor now

and in return he buys you food!!

usually that would be a pretty good tradeoff but tutoring hyunsuk is so,,,hard

he’s FINALLY gotten tired

and he’s just looking up at you with his eyes all crinkly and a goofy smile on his face

and he’s just like

and then he’s like

and suddenly he’s sitting up and hugging you super tight, his face buried into your chest

until you hear a knock on your door

and you look through the peephole and see mina

and you’re debating opening the door or not bc you really look and feel a mess and you’re just sad and embarrassed

“I KNOW YOU’RE THERE OPEN THE DOOR OR I’ll KICK IT DOWN MYSELF”

and you lowkey believe her

so you open the door

and you look at her

and she looks at you

and then you just start SOBBING

as if you weren’t already a mess, you’re even MORE of a mess now

so mina has closed the door and guided you to your bed

and she’s just letting you cry, patting your back and whispering comforting words

and when you finally calm down

you look up at her, tear tracks marking your cheeks, your nose red and runny

“i know”

...and you’re sobbing again

and then when you calm down again you’re like

“i don’t even know why i like him!! like sure he’s good looking and sure he has great fashion sense and sure he’s nice and cares about me and takes care of me and ...”

...surprise! you’re sobbing again

and mina just lets it happen

she knows you’re going through it

and when you’re finally out of tears

she looks at you and she’s like

“it’s ok to like him. it’s ok to like a guy. so what if he may not like you back? not that that’s true, but you never know until you try! and if he doesn’t, so what? you know your worth! and you are worth so much! don’t let a guy stop you from living your life, because you are so much more than that.”

it’s wednesday

you know what that means

it has come full circle... the dreaded 9 am chem lecture

so you leave your dorm extra early

because you know you need the time

and you get to your class at 8:50

and right as you’re about to enter the building, you feel a hand grab your wrist

and by now, you know who it is

so you let him lead you a little away from the building where no one was

and he finally turns around and looks at you

and you can’t find it in yourself to look him in the eye

so you just look down at his hand that is still holding onto yours

and you gently pry his fingers from around your wrist

and you let your arms rest at your sides

“y/n....why have you been ignoring me”

you already feel tears coming on

but you bring your hands together in front of you, still staring at the ground

“it was only three days” you mumble

and he’s quiet for a sec

“i missed you”

lol ur rlly whipped and you know it

you finally look up at him

and he just has the most devastated look on his face

and you can’t tell if it’s the glare from the sun, but his eyes look watery

and he his lips are pouted

and he just looks like a kicked puppy

and everything in you is just SCREAMING to hug him and apologize and tell him everything will be ok

but,,,,you have to do this ... for yourself and mina ＼＼\٩(๑`^´๑)۶//／／

so you take a deep breath and look him in the eye

it takes a while for you to formulate words but

“why do you always flirt with me like that?”

“wha-“

“when you know i like you, why would you play with my feelings like that? i thought you had some respect for me, but it’s so degrading when you lead me on just to reject me later! this isn’t some game suk...”

you finally take some time to breathe and take a look at him

and his face is just blank

and his mouth is kind of open

and he’s staring at you ~like that~

and you’re about to snap at him again

but then he opens his mouth to say something

“...you like me?”

you’re kinda confused

“obviously, you know this already???”

he just stares at you for a little longer

and he kind of looks like he’s about to cry again

“...no i didn’t”

now you’re the one who’s speechless

he takes a little step closer to you

your heart is starting to beat really fast again

but he lets his arms wrap around your waist and pull you closer to him, his head falling into your hair

and you can’t see his face but you know he’s smiling bc u are too

you lean back a bit to look at him

and you notice the way his eyes keep flickering between your eyes and lips

and as much as you would love to kiss his pouty lips, you have to put ur foot down

and that’s the beginning of a beautiful relationship

I am alright! i finished my obligatory internship at a company today. and now i have some vacation days but i still have my uni job so only during the week i have vacation but its better than nothing.

yeah, you are right, mingyu and chan are very used to it by now. and you are probably right about the communication between the members... if they wouldnt talk it out or get along with each other, i dont think they still would stay a group after all these years.

if the question if i have any bias wreckers hahahah. I sometimes feel like thats at least 50% of the members but if i have to cut it down to a few its probably cheol, vernon, seungkwan and minghao... oh an wonwoo probably too bcs this dude is pure loveliness. ok i just wanted to add jihoon as well but see... this is a normal bias situation for me hahah send help. lets just go with all 12 to be save hahahaha.

oh noooo. for a group like svt choosing a choreo is so damn hard. its quite basic too say that but i think their choreo for dont wanna cry is just incredible. also fallin flower is so beautiful but i dont think theres any choreo thats not worth to be mentioned... like lilili yabbay is also so damn iconic. what do you think... are you able to choose one choreo?

I Can See a Smile (Jim Kirk x Reader)

Summary: This is a request (my first! woo!) from @webhoard . Jim is a drama queen and very cute when stroppy.

Request: Hmm...how about fluffy Jim getting 'mad' at S/O for something trite like eating the last of the ice cream or something like that, and S/O has to placate him and cheer him up? Lol, I just really wanna Jim acting like a lovable man-child.

Pairing: Jim Kirk x Reader

Warnings: None (100% FLUFF)

a/n: ok so stroppy drama queen Jim is my new favourite thing. Also, the ‘i can see a smile’ line is something my brother used to say to me when i was off school being ill to try and cheer me up.

“Hey, y/n! Which drawer did you put the last of the ice cream in?” you heard Jim yell from the kitchen.

You could hear the drawers of the freezer being opened and closed repeatedly, alongside rummaging sounds as he dug his way through the contents. He was looking for the tub of salted caramel ice cream which you both loved and had been devouring for the past week since you had got back to earth.

“uuuurrrrmmmm… have you checked the bottom drawer?” you shouted back, pretending not to know its true location - empty and in the recycling.

You smiled to yourself and to the last spoonful of the delicious dessert in your bowl. You planned on hiding and destroying the evidence before Jim realised what had happened. But as you placed the last spoonful in your mouth - savouring every second - Jim appeared in the doorway.

“TRAITOR!” he gasped, causing you to whip round from your place on the sofa to face him, the spoon still hanging from your mouth. The look of betrayal on his face was borderline comical, it took everything you had not to laugh.

“I actually can’t believe you, I’ve been in there 5 minutes trying to find it and you’ve been sat in here eating it!” his hands flew up in the air as he spoke. You felt slightly guilty as you watched him huff and puff a few meters away from you.

“You said last night that I could have the rest of it!” you replied in defense, removing the spoon from your mouth and placing the bowl on the side table.

“That’s not the point! You could have saved me some! Besides why would you lie about it?” Jim Kirk was a sight to behold. He was stood in his pyjamas (which consisted of his old Academy t-shirt and baggy, tartan flannel lounge pants - both of which he kept folded neatly in a drawer in his earth apartment) barefoot, with messy hair, and a look of astonishment on his face.

“Jim, there was like 3 spoonfuls and I lied because I knew you would act like this!” you had to bite back laughter as you took in the sight before you. He looked so unbelievably cute stood there in his jammies, having a strop - and you loved him with every inch of your being.

This version of Jim was the antithesis of the Jim everyone on the Enterprise knew as their Captain. That was one of the reasons you loved him. During the day he was all confident, focused, and patient; but when he came back to your shared quarters after his shift had ended, he was surprisingly quiet and wanted nothing more than to cuddle up under a blanket and snooze through an old earth film.

“Come sit down, Jim, and watch TV with me” You pulled back the blanket you were sat under, inviting him to join you. You turned back to your programme and waited. A huff from behind you and loud footsteps signalled his submission, you felt the sofa dip as he threw himself down dramatically on the other end, yanking the blanket over his legs and crossing his arms like a child would when denied their way.

He sat like this silently for twenty minutes while the programme - a romantic comedy (and Jim’s favourite) - played through. Normally he would laugh constantly at the cheesy jokes and mishaps, but tonight he had a face like a slapped arse. As the end credits rolled, and the upbeat jingly music filled the room, Jim let out a loud sigh. You had tried to ignore him and just wait it out, but you knew you had to fix this one - plus it was so cute you couldn’t resist.

“James… Jaaames” you pestered, poking him in his muscly bicep, attempting to get his attention. When this didn’t work, you scooted over the sofa to sit as close as possible to him to continue badgering him. “Baby, I’m sorry for eating the ice cream it was very mean of me to hide it from you.” You placed a kiss on his cheek and wrapped your arms around his neck, smooshing your face against his. Jim, however, did not move an inch, he continued to stare blankly at the adverts which were now playing on the television. You pouted, trying to think of another way to get a response.

“I’ll buy you a new tub tomorrow, a whole tub just for you… will that make you forgive me?” you cooed, as you continued to cling to him. Jim continued to sit with his arms crossed, ignoring your attempts.

Time to bring out the big guns. You resolved as your last attempt failed to insight even a bat of his annoyingly long eyelashes.

Detaching yourself from around his neck, you knelt on the sofa next to him, clasped your hands around his face, and began to kiss his face relentlessly whilst cooing “Jim… Baby… sweetie pie… James… forgive me please… cutie please” in between each new assault. Jim stayed stoic, but you could tell he was beginning to crack. Smiling at him, you pulled out the line you knew would surely get him to smile.

“I can see a smileeee” you teased, poking the corner of his mouth, “I can see it… it’s definitely thereeee” you continued, silently cheering when you saw the corner of his mouth begin to curl up against his will. As you saw him trying to fight it you returned to peppering kisses all over his grumpy little face. “Don’t make me tickle you, Tiberius.”

Finally, the façade cracked and Jim let out a frustrated “gah!” as he turned and tackled you, pinning you to the sofa to end your attack. In his eyes was that look you loved - mischief. A toothy grin broke across his face before he began to return your tactic, smothering you in sloppy, loud kisses with added “mwah” for effect. He then decided to deploy yet another tactic you loved to bring out on occasion - tickling. You were in fits of laughter as he exacted his revenge.

“Jim! Jim! Please, I’m sorry!” you laughed breathlessly as he continued.

“I want a whole tub!” he laughed along with you, it was like music to your ears.

“Fine! Yes! I already promised that!” you squealed.

“You can’t even have a sneaky spoonful that you think I don’t notice!”

“Yes! Ok! I promise!”

“Good” he said, stopping his assault, to smile down at you, “it’s a pleasure doing business with you” he smirked, leaning down to kiss you in victory.
