evil duke isn't something i think about too often, he is such a kind and just person at his core that its almost hard for me to make him a villian.

one thing i am absolutely sure about evil!duke tho is he is Lawful as hell. just based on the Final Knight and the way Duke talks normally, he would be a prim and proper monologuing villain, lex luthor-core kinda sorta. He works through everything with a kind of grim detachment, all his the passion that makes him a great hero is Gone. he wears gloves to symbolically show off just how much he refuses to get his hands dirty.

for these types of villains there is always a breaking point, where their perfection fades and i genuinely dont think Evil!Duke would ever get pushed there. when backed into a corner the control gets even more ironclad and Thats finally when his powers lash out (if he is threatened in a way that can't just be buried in bureaucracy he starts with his fists)

Evil!Duke isnt a villain you fight one on one, only someone to negotiate down with for the safety of you and everyone around you

I'm hoping episode 3 let's Ruby see the dark side of the Doctor. I feel that adds a very important dynamic to a Doctor-companion relationship, when they see how dark he can be and still choose to travel with him early on.

Rose watching Nine drag Cassandra back to die. Eleven yelling at Amy "Nobody human has anything to say to me today!" Donna begging Ten to stop drowning the spider babies, and then again to go back and save someone in Pompeii.

Fifteen has been FUN and I know he can do emotional range, I've seen his fear and his tears already. But I want to see him dark, and I want to see Ruby respond to that. I think it would add a LOT of depth to their relationship and is something missing.

Plus showcasing the Doctor's flaws (selfishness) will make him a much more interesting character. I want to see some conflict between the Doctor and Ruby.

God I am so happy we could recruit him in Azure Gleam.

reasons why i just KNOW john richard papen is the pretty boi of the greek class and most probably all of hampden (spoilers, read at your own risk):

he's from california so he has that accent shut up.

he gets attention. now listen, we see him accompanying literally every single one of these nerds yet he's the one who gets recognized, every fucking time. he's literally been to a college party with camilla and judy but he was the one who got taken home while no one even tried to hit on judy and camilla (pretty sure because they were just getting all up and personal with each other so everyone kept their distance i'm allowed to dream shut up-).

he swoons over charles and francis too so... we've seen him call charles charming and he does end up with an older woman by the end of the book, BUT... he never got any attention from any one of their college friends, ik not appropriate but what in the living fuck is appropriate about this book anyway, he doesn't even get noticed by any girl at bunny's funeral... not even SOPHIE! but.. whatever i guess.

he's literally objectively prettier than bunny i don't need to justify that.

francis.. he's a redhead but that doesn't make him less pretty, actually that makes him prettier. people just find richard more objectively attractive. ik we all have this wrecked image of richard in our heads because that's how we decided to look at richard but just imagine richard's features being an absolutely stunning cross between achilles and remus lupin *sighs in gender envy*.

it was a really good date, we spent 4 hours (!!!!) together just like, walking downtown and we got drinks which he paid for mine, said it was his bday gift for me 🥲 and talked a lot about everything, hockey especially, families, education/career, news, memes, travel, music...

very much the success of spn became about the ensemble and it kinda sucks to see misha/cas consistently left out of the mentions that happen in buzz-worthy articles. particularly because whenever jaytwo talk about a revival — either together or separately — they often speak in terms of sam and dean/themselves. it’s very pre-2008 + the finale of them 💀

yeah i feel ya anon, we're all over it 😅 re articles my guess is they're just trying to play it smart and think that's how they get the most engagement, but it's so outdated and not reflective of general audience or online fandom imo

as for jaytwo and the way they do or don't include misha when talking about a revival, i think that (at least on jensen's part) is probably an issue of that conversation happening more often in jaytwo panels, cause i feel like i've heard jensen include misha too sometimes (mostly in other kind of panels)
